I had an LL Bean fleece robe in the past, and this new one seems to have somewhat cheaper fleece, but should still be plenty warm.

It is a fair robe but less weight and quality than LL Bean provided just a few years ago. LL Bean should review standards and go back to the quality they used to stand by. I purchased the robe as a gift.

I liked the navy robe, although it is not as nice a fleece as my old favorite dark red one. The extra small petite in the navy however was not as comfortable in the shoulders as my small petite red robe, so I returned it and will try the small petite. It will be roomy but I think roomy is preferable in this style. For reference, I'm 6'3 and weigh 115 pounds.

Fits well, although a little longer than I need. The fabric is kind of a plushy-almost-fur. I was expecting more of a regular fleece. Love the color!

Soft and comfortable. Will be great when winter comes again.

I bought this as a replacement for the same robe I'd had for many years. It is still warm, but the fleece is a different quality. It's softer with a different feel and not as substantial as the previous fleece. I much prefer the previous one.

Nice robe but not fluffy. I thought it would be softer.

I will probably not send this back, but the fiber wasn't mentioned and I really wanted a cotton robe for after shower, etc.

Polar fleece bathrobe. It is warm and I like the simple tie style.

This robe is very warm and very generously cut, with plenty of overlap and good leg coverage. The fabric is soft and cuddly and the two big pockets are a nice extra. However, it is 100% polyester, which means it doesn't breathe and can feel sweaty, even in a cool room. (I'm past the age of hot flashes; it's the robe. :-D ) This also makes it non-absorbent so it's not good as an after-bath wrap; cotton terrycloth works much better for that purpose.

The material feels much more comfortable and natural than I expected for something that is all or primarily polyester. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the petite version of a size small, the sleeves were still a bit too long.

Robe is extremely well-made for which I was pleased, but I don't like the fabric, having expected it to be more substantial. I plan to return it.

I was hoping to replace my trusty 15 year old LL BEan robe, which was made from a different material. My new robe, fleece is almost too hot to wear unless it is a freezing cold morning and I turn the heat nearly off. It fits well, is made well, and I love the monogram.

I love the robe. I wish I hadn't put a monogram on it though. The font was not correct. I'd purchase the robe again. Soft and warm.

I wanted to get something cozy and special for my mom this Christmas. I looked at cashmere robes but not only are they very expensive, they're too thin. I also worried that the fleece robe would be too big, but it fit just right. I chose the option for a simple monogram to make the robe extra special and she just loved it. It arrived in plenty of time for Xmas too. My son loved it so much, I'll probably buy one for him on his birthday this year.

Warm fleece but slightly small and too short. I should have purchased the small rather than extra small.

I like a shawl collar wrap around fleece robe that is longer in length (almost to the ankles) & also longer in the sleeves and this robe had those qualities. But also was wanting a thinner & softer fleece robe as I like to wear it to bed over my nightie on cold winter nights.This robe was too heavy for my liking & didn't feel soft or have any give to the fabric. It felt heavy, stiff & not soft, so I did return it. I also would like hidden side pockets that are free flowing & not attached to the front of the robe. And some pretty fabric choices, with pastel plaids or a subtle print. Please consider redesigning this robe with these qualities, & I will purchase. Thank you!

Very heavy weight fleece didn't look nice and fluffy. Sort of matted looking. I sent it back.

Good quality, but pretty plain for a womans robe, and the medium was too long for a 5'4" woman

I had an old American Poltec rob from the 1980's that was far super to the robe the material they made it with is very strange. The robe is made for a tall thin person.

I will have to return. I purchased this robe in a petite for a 92 year-old friend. I'm 5'5" tall, not a petite. It is too long on me. My friend is about 5'2" and this robe would be a trip hazard for her. Review rating is due to length of the robe.

I bought this robe because of the great reviews online that said: "Made from thick, soft fleece, this robe is a toasty treat. Its generous length and wide shawl collar provide heavy-duty insulation, even on jaunts to the mailbox in the snow." The robe I received is fleecy indeed, but it's relatively light compared to the Ugg robes I have. I don't feel immediately warm when putting it on, but maybe I'll warm up after a while. The other thing that's got me feeling a bit miffed is that the online price doesn't match the price tag attached to the robe. I thought I got a decent deal during Black Friday, but when I see the price tag on the robe, it appears that the online price just inflated the original price by the discount amount, meaning I basically purchased the robe at full/original price. I am not sure this is the way to win customer loyalty...

Lovely fabric and green color. Unfortunately, too long, I would be stepping on it. Too heavy, difficult to get on because of weight. The reason for three stars instead of four is the over-sized cuffs. Rolled down they come to my fingertips. Rolled up, they are bulky. I would not cook breakfast or put a log in the wood stove wearing this robe for fear of catching myself on fire.

I found the fleece to be a little thicker than I'd like and also less flexible or less pliable than I like. Too still and heavy for me so I returned it.
