So cozy for early morning in the kitchen to get coffee on. I put a monogram that's my nickname.have fun with this and creat your monogramit's not like you're going to wear this to the grocery store. Love the fabric and how it's made. Very warm.

After reading some reviews about the diminished quality of the material I thought I'd order it and if those reviews were right I would just return it - there's an L L Bean store not far from me. When the robe arrived I was very pleasantly surprised, it's soft and plush and warm which is important in Northeastern winters. I think the color was called blue, it's more teal and quite pretty. I've been somewhat critical of L L Bean's quality control in the recent past, but I'm happy with this purchase.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for the wife. After 48 years of marriage and never able to get her a gift she doesn't fail to return/exchange, this is one she won't return. She absolutely loves the material and its plush feel, not to mention its warmth. Being a petite woman who is "vertically challenge", she says the length is perfect. Like many others during COVID, many hours are spent lounging around the house in sweats or jammies. This robe has been a daily piece to her ensemble.

I wanted a simple, washable, warm robe, loose enough to wrap securely but not so big I'd wallow in it. This is ideal. I love the details! There's an inside tie of cotton ribbon, not flimsy cheap nylon, to keep it closed. The shawl collar is deep enough to hug my neck. Generous pockets keep hands warm. The set- in sleeve reminds me of a Loro Piana cashmere robe! This meets my high expectations of LL Bean. Poly fleece is so practical. I have a LLB zone fleece blanket I've loved for years and this is the robe version of that for me. Nothing fancy but somehow perfect in every way. Worth every penny! Love the navy color, too.

Received this robe for Xmas and am very happy with it. The fleece is soft and subtantial, a very good quality, and the robe is warm. Sizing was as others have said -- a little generous, but not swimming. For me, the sleeve length was just right and the hem reached to just above my ankles. I got the red color which as others have noted is not exactly red, but not rust either. I would pin it somewhere in between, like a claret color. LLB, you should really add a few other color options. One gripe is that the monogram was placed too high, so that the shawl collar almost completely covers it.

From the moment I unpackaged this soft, warm, luxurious feeling robe, I've loved it! The cranberry color is rich and warm. This well-fitting robe has a wonderful feel to the hand and body and is well made. It reaches to about 6 inches above my ankles and wraps warmly about my "medium large" frame. The monogram is well done and makes the robe look quite upscale. I've laundered it once in cold water and tumbled it dry and the robe remains perfect. It has been keeping me snug and warm as winter has rudely come too early to Upstate N.Y.

There was a question about the seams being cheaply sewn and scratchynever my experience. The robe's seams are beautifully finished by expert Cambodian seamstresses so the material doesn't ravel or rip apart like they would on a lesser quality item made somewhere else. That's why I buy and generally keep everything I purchase from Bean: quality with a guarantee. I gradually acquired FOUR of these robes over the years. I still wear them all, rotating their use and then finally washing them all together in Woolite for Dark Colors. It also helps conserve on water. The last one was made better than the first one I purchased ten years ago--a real rarity these days. That is the only way I can tell the four robes apart; they don't wear out. As my home is situated near the rather cold Northwest Pacific Ocean, I usually wear one of the robes over my clothes, pajamas or otherwise, while I am at home; it really helps with heating bills. I always put one on right after I shower, too. On very cold nights, I sleep in one over my gown. I feel like I am wrapped in a beautiful, lush blanketthat is how comfortable these robes are.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife. She likes em long and this one hits just about to the ankle. Sleeves are the right length as well, plenty long. Overall, she loves it. Be a Hero and chose this robe - she'll love you for it. And add in the Monogram - it's a nice touch!!!

Merry Christmas to me! I had been wanting a new fleece robe that isn't too fluffy. Most of the "fleece" robes on the market aren't warm or good quality. I absolutely love this robe and the monogram. I'm glad I read the reviews about the length, as I didn't want a robe that went to my ankles. The petite is perfect. Thank you LL Bean; you delivered again.

I live in these robes around the house. It gets very chilly by the ocean in Oregon year round. Instead of flipping on the heat, I wrap one of these around me, and I am fine! I am 5 foot, 5 inches, 125 pounds. When I originally ordered the robe in small regular, I found myself dangerously tripping on the hem as I went up and down my home's staircase. (I had to return it). My robes in small petite, however, are the perfect length--no tripping on the hem, and plenty long and warm. The belt sits nicely at my waist. I wash the robes in Woolite for Dark Colors, put them in the dryer very briefly, and wow! They come out feeling and looking like they did when I first bought them. No shrinkage. The three robes I have are in deep jewel tones, and all very pretty. I have purchased several of these robes as holiday gifts for family and friends. Everyone has been delighted to have received them.

I purchased a robe like this more than 10 years ago. It was getting a little thin but still as soft and very warm. You can go outside, even in cold weather, for a brief time, and you are still warm but not too hot for inside. Now ordered another one in teal ( that is more green than the picture) because I wanted a new color. It is beautiful. I find it to be the same great quality as the old one.

Love the bathrobe. Only suggestion would be to put the monogram a bit lower. Gets lost in the collar.

Very nice plush robe. Wrap robes don't work well for me unless I get a couple sizes bigger. I always have trouble with them staying closed. Overall a very nice robe but I did return it. I have the front zip version and that works well for me in my regular size.

The fleece robe keeps me warm and cozy on cool/cold mornings when I first get out of bed. It is very comfortable and feels good against the skin. I especially like the length. Monogram adds an extra touch. My husband even commented on how nice and attractive it is.
I would highly recommend the Winter Fleece Robe to anyone wanting a comfortable, quality robe.

Purchased for my wife for Christmas. I had to return a couple of other brands as she was not happy with them. This one is attractive and very well made and she really enjoys it. The monogram was a very nice personal touch. You won't go wrong with this one.

The robe is warm and true to size. I'm about 130lb., 5'3", so borderline petite. I tried this in regular small and medium. Both were ankle length; the medium was very roomy; the small was roomy enough but a little snug across the shoulders, so I kept the medium. I have an older version of this robe which is a denser and warmer fleece, but this fleece is warm enough, not too slinky/slippery and seems breathable. The old one has a notched collar that can be buttoned up, giving it a neater look. This new one is comfortable but formless. Contrast piping along the edges of the collar, cuffs, pockets and tie would be an improvement. I like the bright navy; the other colors not so much.

I've bought this robe 3 times. It's warm and comfortable and fits well. It seems like there is a little less coverage at the bottom compared to previous ones but it's still ok. Sadly, I've only had it for a month or so and the inside tie is already fraying and I don't think it will last long.

Love the robe, however the medium could be a little bigger. I have older LL Bean fleece robe in same style in large and it now way to big ((weight loss), which is why I ordered medium.

I love this new robe, which has certainly fit a need. I am only about 5 ft. tall so it comes all the way down to cover my feet, which is perfect for me. My ankles get cold easily. The fabric is nice and soft and launders beautifully. The only issue I have is that my short torso makes it hard to maintain the wrap without gapping at the neckline. I am definitely keeping it, though. The purple color is rich and appealing, too!

This is my second petite LL Bean long fleece bathrobe. I liked the last one's model better, but it's no longer available. The first one was a small petite size from at least 10 years ago. Its 2 pockets were wider. It had nice big cuffs on the sleeves and a notched collar with a button at the neck under the collar on one side that buttoned to a fleece loop at the top point of the opposite side of the collar, which when buttoned made the robe warmer around the neck and the chest, good for the winter and too much air conditioning. It was an extremely comfortable and durable robe. The new one is a petite extra-small. It's comfortable and attractive with a shawl collar, but the pockets are not as wide as the first one's. Whether that is due to the robe's smaller size, I don't know. It doesn't have wide cuffs or a button and loop neck/chest closure . It also doesn't seem as well made or designed as the last one in that the seam of the underside of the collar where the fabric is folded over to create the collar, can at times be seen. Overall, the second robe is fine, but I preferred the notched neck robe that closed with the fleece loop and had wider pockets. I am glad that you still make petite sizes and I appreciate that feature because many clothing companies have eliminated their petite lines and make clothes to fit a 5'11" inch model when the average US woman is now 5'3.5", making those companies' clothing proportions completely out of wack and expensive to bring to a tailor to properly fit, if that is even feasible. Men can get clothing with different collar sizes and leg lengths to accommodate a wide range of body heights and widths. Most clothing manufacturers decided to completely abandon women 5'4" and shorter or make only an extremely limited number of styles available to them, despite that they can't do anything to change their height and proportions and that the average size of US women is now 5'3.5" with the influx of many Asian women and women of Latin American indigenous heritages who tend to be shorter. Most clothing/department stores followed suit and no longer carry petite sizes.
