The interlock turtleneck is much better than this one. This shrank a little, it's a bit too short, and not nearly as comfortable.

I bought a large and although I like the fabric, it is short in the arms and barely long enough to stay tucked in. I'm 5'7" so not overly tall. I would say these run small.

This turtleneck fabric was a little less giving than others I've ordered. Color was true to website, and I generally like it, but prefer a softer and more giving fabric. As always, quality service from Land's End.

The sizing app was intended to give me the best fit. Unfortunately, it assigned a size that was too small.

These run short!! I love the turtlenecks other than that I have to order a bigger size to get them long enough. I am 4'11!!!

I love the smooth feel of pima cotton, but the material is much too thin for a winter turtleneck. Wish it could have been as substantial as LL Beans regular cotton turtleneck sweaters.

Not my favorite. I love the ones with actual cuffs on the sleeves. That is what I thought I was getting. It was not. Next time I will pay closer attention. We also need some vibrant colors. Winter is drab enough.

I've worn LL Bean Cotton Turtlenecks for years and have always bought a small size. (I have not gained weight over the years!) I found this one to be too small and am returning it. The fabric and color were fine so I've ordered a medium. I'm hoping it's not too large!

I really like the pima cotton, but this turtleneck was a snug, I would like to have it in relaxed fit and not regular. When I was in the store I could not seem to find it in relaxed fit.

This would be 5 stars if it were just a couple of inches longer. I like a bit more length so that the front doesn't slip up to my waist when I do normal motions like reaching up into a cabinet. (I'm not asking for tunic length, but if I tuck it in it will begin to come up from my waistband.) The material is wonderful-NOT interlock which I do not like for turtlenecks- drapes nicely and feels silky ;the yellow color is soft and beautiful. Please LL Bean, consider making this lovely top (it also comes in a tee) just that little bit longer to be more versatile with the many different bottoms available! I'd own a closet full of them!

This is the third time in the last 6 months to a year that I purchased an item I already had in my wardrobe, only to find the sizing had changed, for the worse (at least for me). First item was a pair of True Shape jeans, second was the full zip sweater fleece, and third is the pima turtleneck. I've typically purchased the Large size turtleneck for a little extra roominess, and the ones I've purchased over the last several years all continue to have a loose fit (even given a slight bit of apparent shrinkage due to multiple washings). Just purchased several of this years version, again in my usual size Large, and all appear to be sized smaller than previously, tighter in the body, but particularly, annoyingly tighter in the neck. Same issue with the jeans and the sweater; even though I still have my previous purchases, which still fit fine, the same sizes in the new versions are tighter. This isn't a problem I've had before in the years I've been shopping with LL Bean, and it's disappointing having to start over figuring out my sizing (and doing returns) for items I've bought fairly consistently over the years.

I bought several of these and washed each one separately before wearing. Each one left so much lint in my dryer that I literally had to wipe down the drum. So I decided I should wash them separately a second time. And again, I had to wet paper towels in order to get all the lint off the inside of my dryer. I've literally never had that happen with any other fabric. How can that be a good thing?

Nice and comfortable, attractive, though I am a bit worried that the smooth synthetic fabric will show stains.

I got the black one and washed it in cold water before I wore it. The color seems to have faded a bit with just one wash. And it shrunk a bit. I have the 3/4 sleeve split neck Pima tunic in medium petite and they stay perfect wash after wash. This is ok to wear as a layer under a 1/4 zip top, but I won't be wearing it under anything that shows it too much. The neck is more snug than my other turtle neck, but that one isn't a petite.

Soft, comfortable but shrunk significantly in wash. Disappointing!

I found the turtlenecks to be too tight around the neck. I have bought many t-necks from LLBean over the years and never had a problem. Unfortunately, had to return 3 of them.

LLB's Pima shirts are so nice, but with one fatal flaw for methey shrink up like crazy - most especially in the length and sleeves. You now offer the Pima long sleeve tees in tall sizes and they are perfect for me. I'm 5'-7" tall, so just over the edge of regular height. For reference, I was these shirts in cold water and only half dry on the lowest heat setting, and they still shrink.

The pima cotton feels wonderful, and is appropriately substantial. The problem is that the garment is very tight, especially in the arms. I can't imagine what it would be like after washing. I'm asking for an exchange, and going two sizes up!

Nice fabric and color but turtleneck too tight. Difficult to get over the head and felt uncomfortable on so it was returned. I do not have a large neck.

The raven color is deep and rich. It is a lovely alternative to black. The material is a silky Pima cotton. The neck of the turtleneck is overly loose. The sleeve length is perfect, but it would be improved with a knit cuff or some other way of making it fit or tightly around the wrist.

The shirt is incredibly soft and it is comfortable but it is worth noting that it runs a little small and it shrinks a noticeable amount. So even though I sized up, after just a couple machine washes (in cold water) and dries, it fits fine but it's certainly not roomy. I'm concerned that after a few more launderings it could be too small.

The fabric is great but the sleeves are hemmed would give it 5 stars if the sleeves were cuffed. Won't buy this again because of that.

These are a staple of my wardrobe, but the last three I bought are tighter than previous purchases (and no, I'm not getting largerI still had a couple never-worn ones on my shelf that I purchased last year. The sizing has changed.) Meanwhile, I had to send back a cardigan because it was too big. LLBean, you'd better get your sizing right.

I have several of these turtlenecks from previous years that I really like. Nice weight for under sweaters, washes beautifully, and feels soft. But this year the neck is too tight. I bought a large, but the neck was uncomfortable, so I ordered an XL thinking the neck would be okay and I could handle the extra body size. The neck is tolerable but still snug, and the body is sloppy looking. Not happy, but not returning. Doubt I will order any more next year.
