I have been buying these shirts, almost every year, since 2002 22 years! The fit, fabric and quality have been consistently great, until this year, when I ordered four of these shirts, in four different colors. They are sized down, so that they fit as if they were one size smaller. There was no notification on the LL Bean website that the sizing had changed. In addition, the fabric feels lighter, not as substantial. Very irritating to have to go through the return process for a product that I thought I could count on, especially as I am in the middle of a house move.

I orderd this Pima cotton tee shirt and was sent a VERY THIN supima cotton tee shirt instead. Greatly disappointed. Will return.

I like the fabric of these tees and have several in my closet from last year. I ordered the same size but was dismayed to find that the new tees are several inches longer than the ones I have, falling below the hip (I am 5'5"). I think the look is unattractive and returned the tees. Too bad LL Bean does not have consistent sizing from one season to the next for the same product.

Terrible. You sent a long sleeved shirt! I ordered a short sleeved one!

Silky and hot. I like Woman Within or Kohl's Croft and Bsrrow tshirts better.

What the heck, L. L. Bean? You used to be my go-to for petite tee shirts. Why did you ruin a good thing by adding length to the petite tee shirts? These are way too long! I will be returning my order. Please bring back the original length.

I purchased 3 shirts for spring-all short-sleeved. They all were delivered today. The reason I went to the medium size as opposed to the regular small (have been ordering)is so the length would be longer. Even though I don't put in the dryer they are still too short for me. Just letting you know that the warm teal one came and is 2 in. shorter than the black one or the other t-shirt. No tags at all were on it indicating it's size-medium, either like the tags on the other ones. I don't know why this one is so much shorter in length even though I'm short. I'm keeping it but just so you know the medium length should be the same on all the shirts. I'm just disappointed in the length since that's the reason I ordered the medium---for the extra length.

I am puzzled..... recent purchase of several shirts XLR. All to small. Returned and ordered next size up 1X Plus - these are huge. Is LLBean telling me that there is no size between XL and 1X? Perhaps consider offering XXL. These returns are getting to be expensive, considering no longer shopping here.

I have several (15 or more) LL bean short sleeve slightly fitted tees purchased over the years. Some are L and some are XL, some pima & some reg cotton. The fit is very good for me. However I recently bought 6 XL of these tees. I put one on without looking in the mirror (why would I need to?) and topped it with a hoodie. It felt a tiny bit snug throughout the day but I attributed it to being new. At night I looked in the mirror - "this is too small!" double checked the size I was sent - I was sent what I ordered, tried on the remaining 5 and all too small. Of course I thought it was me, so I tried on most of my other LL Bean SS tees in XL and L. Nope, not me - all six of these tees are smaller (width and length) than my all ready owned LL Bean SS tees, pima and reg cotton, sizes L and XL. I resent that I have to pay $6.50 to return when I am not at fault.

I recently bought 2 of these shirts and am returning them because they're quite a bit smaller and shorter than they used to be. I have many of these tees and none of them fit as snugly as the 2 I just bought. The large has always fit me in the past. It's really irritating when you buy a shirt in your size only to find your size doesn't fit you anymore because the company is trying to save $$ by skimping on the quality of the shirt!! C'mon LLBean you need to do better!!

I can no longer order LL Bean T shirts, as they are too long, even in the Petite Length. I wore them for many years, but they recently decided to make them longer.

Received my order today. I am so disappointed theses shirts have some type of elasitc in them. They are stretchy so they are not a relaxed fit. Due to the elastic they are too small. I wanted ONLY 100% cotton shirts and shirts that are not made to be skin tight. I already have a closet full of elastic, stretchy shirts made to be skin tight that I do not wear. They are so uncomfortable..

I purchased 3 of these t-shirts and am so disappointed in the quality. They fit well so I washed them on delicate in cold water and dried on low heat as instructed. They shrunk terribly, necks were too tight and tons of wrinkles. The XL shrunk to a medium so I won't be wearing them. Such a waste of money.

Zero rating. Fabric too thin. Does not support printed-on label. Puckers after first wash and will not lay flat at neck. Take it off the shelf.

These formerly very reliable pima tshirts have changed in length and width - too long and too fitting over the hip area. And one of my shirts had a sleeve on which the fabric had been cut but not finished. I returned all three and will buy no more.

Material is not the same as previous purchase. Inferior and very clingy. When returned I received a gift card. Ll bean no longer credits the purchase on the LL Bean credit card. Buyer beware.

Feel and look good until washed a few times. Needs ironing to look decent

I ordered two of these and was very disappointed in the fit. They are very short waisted and fit like a longish crop top, though barely reach past the waistband of my pants. LL Bean will not accept a return because I cut the internal left side tag on the seam due to sensory issues. I'm really disappointed about this return policy and do NOT recommend this shirt unless you're going for a crop top style. *Tall sizes were not an option when I purchased.

I have been buying these pima cotton tees for over 20 years. Recently, I have found that the length has changed -- they are longer now than they used to be. The used to hit at about mid-hip,in a relaxed way, but now they are much too long! If you have wider hips, they cling to the hips in an unattractive way. I have not gained weight or changed size, my older pima cotton t's fit me perfectly. Since there is no petite size in these t-shirts, I am out of luck. But I will never buy these anymore, which is a shame, as they were a staple in my wardrobe.

Runs very small ordered a small and it's to small ordered a medium and it not much bigger.

I bought several of these and found small holes forming in front around waist area in the middle. I wrote to LL. Bean and sent pictures including the labels but did not get any help. They wanted ordering info. I found reviews with others having the same problems. The material is flawed in some of the shirts. I am disappointed in the customer service.

I have never had an issue with bean products before but these shirts are cut too short and too close to the body. They don't look right on so I am sending them back. They are really soft though so if you are a size small, you are probably safe with ordering these.

I made the mistake of buying a petite size. It is too small in the chest, both in the medium and large sizes. Returning an item costs $6.50 to L.L. Bean. If you are large-chested, buy the regular size and not the petite.

I loved this shirt so much after trying it on that I about three. I had read reviews that the shirt shrunk after washing, but I chalked the shrinkage up to tumble drying which I don't do. I was wrong. I washed one of the shirts and hung to dry. It shrank a full inch. Bummer. Glad I washed just one.

Bought this is a size larger than I normally would and it shrank 2 sizes plus it smelled so much like the dye that I had to wash it right away. I never even had a chance to wear it. This is the second article of clothing I have purchased in the last month that shrank as soon as I washed it and now can't wear it. The quality is just not there anymore.
