I did not read the details of this shirt and it is not all cotton. It fits tight as a large, material sticks to slight folds in my torso and I accept responsibility for assuming it was like the prima cotton shirts. I will not order this again.

The fabric is too thin and sheer. Very disappointed. I tried posting a photo of the tee shirt, but it doesn't seem to appear here on this review.

I do not like the feel of pima cotton. Have tried several items of pima cotton and had to return them all.

I have a couple of pima v-necks that I love, but the crewneck disappoints. First, the length is inconsistent. I ordered this in navy, and it's a full 2" shorter than the v-necks that I have; the white is over an 1" shorter than the v-neck. That may not sound like much, but it spells the difference between being able to tuck it in or not. Second, the crewneck binding seaming looks terrible. LL Bean designed this so that there is a raw edge on the binding, which shows very obviously at the shoulder seam. (I have tried to upload a picture, but I don't think that I succeeded.) The raw edge is unnecessary and easily avoided. A raw edge could easily be hidden by seaming the crewneck binding together into one round piece and then sewing that to the neckline. I have never seen a crewneck seamed this way, even on incredibly cheap t-shirts I have bought from other merchants. As it is finished now, there's a glaring bump and raw edge, which destroys the slightly dressier look of a pima shirt. I am glad for the 365 day return policy, but I would have preferred a crewneck shirt that was put together better.

The fabric on the Pima T's is usually excellent. However, this one looks like it is already piling. I have numerous Pima T's and they used to wear like iron. I don't think this one will last. I haven't worn it yet and I am debating whether or not I will return it.

I ordered 4 of these tees. Fit was good until I laundered, following instructions of cold water, low heat dry. They all shrunk a size! Would return but since they fit good before laundering, did not save receipts. Also, material flimsy and thin and needs ironing. If I could return, I might order a size up.

I have ordered this shirt multiple times. But the one I recently received (sort of a berry color) looked fine but the bottom seam has unraveled. It is not something I can repair so I will need to return it. I have hardly worn it so this seems to have been poorly sewn. Unfortunate!

Long, long time customer here. The short sleeve pima cotton shirts seem to be cut differently than in the past and no longer fit me as they did before - and no it is not because of quarantine over-eating! I have a stack of these shirts from previous years and they still fit fine. The bust line is smaller or perhaps hits at a different place and the sleeves are pulled uncomfortably and look bad as a result. The neckline is higher as well, with no choice for so-called jewel necklines this season. Regrettably, I had to return my order.

I had high hopes for this tee because my husband has several LLB Pima tees and loves them. The quality of the fabric itself is good, and the shirt feels soft and sturdy to the touch without being bulky. Unfortunately, the sizing is WAY off. I am between an XS and S in most LLB shirts (5'3" 115#) and ordered an S because I wanted a loose fit; however, this is enormous for a size S. It's easily a size M and is baggy and sloppy looking with drooping shoulders. The length is perfect, so I'm not sure whether I want it to shrink in the wash or not, as some others have commented it does. Return/exchange shipping is 1/3 the cost of the shirt, so it's simply not worth returning.

I have been buying pima cotton tees for more than 20 years. Recently I got the shell and the s/s crewneck in black. As noted by other reviewers the quality of the fabric is so much poorer this year. The fabric is thinner and also much looser. No surprise then that after the first (hand!)wash, the shirts have started stretching out wide. I do not understand the LL Bean comment that the fabric is the same as for the past 20 years: when I compare with my 'old ones' bought years back, and still in use, the quality now is really inferior. Also, the cut on the neck is too high and the fit is far from being 'slightly fitted'. Wish the quality issue could be addressed.

I have 3 5 pima crewnecks from LLB -- two that are 21 years or older. I found the older ones to be wieghty and substantial and among the newer ones the lighter color are weighty and substantial. The darker colors are thin and flimsy and not made to LLB standards. I am still debating whether to keep or return this one. It is black.

Major shrinkage, even when washed as directed. Even though I am short-waisted, AND I sized up the length is way too short.

I was excited when I received this shirt. It was so soft and was well-made. I tried it on when I received it, and it fit perfectly. As I do with all new clothing, I washed it in COLD water and LINE dried it. When I put it on to wear it, it had shrunk A LOT both lengthwise and widthwise. I would return it, but I no longer have the tags because it fit fine when I tried it on the first time.

The body of the shirt fit fine, but the sleeves were extremely tight and I don't have big arms at all. Also, the "cream" color is actually a light yellow.

This is my first purchase with LL Bean and I am disappointed. The shirt I received looks nothing like the picture. It's boxy and wide. I needed it in a pinch, so I tried washing and drying it hoping that would help- it didn't. I was really hoping for better.

Have many women's Pima cotton tees, both solid and prints, different styles. Found this tee disappointing as it was oversized with awkward sleeve placement. Have same tee in another color with no problems. Returned.

I like the material. But it shrinks at first wash! It get terribly short. It almost to my belly button length after wash! I don't recommend this shirt to anyone! Very disappointing!
