I bought this coat to take on a trip to Arctic Finland and Norway. I needed it to be waterproof, windproof, light, packable and warm. The jacket fulfilled all of my objectives. So overall I am glad I bought the jacket. However, the zipper is not two-way, so when I sat down a big bunch of coat pushed up in my lap. Also, because it was down, the hoodie I had underneath was always full of feather bits!

I ordered 2 for my girls and it is their favorite jacket.

Kept me warm and cozy in 7 degree, slushy, snowy weather!

I love this jacket, it's good and warm, fits well and so far seems truly waterproof.

Took to Breckenridge, CO in Feb and jacket was warm, windproof and waterproof as stated. Took it on the imperial chair at 12,800 ft where it was a bit more windy and it was perfect. In fact, on one day all I needed was a turtleneck underneath as a base layer because I was a little warmer on the other days with more than one base layer but there are zippers under arms to allow ventilation. Fits nicely. Kept me warm and dry the entire time! So happy with this jacket.

Coat is warm and fits well. Zipper is hard to zip.

Beautiful and very well made. This coat is warm and comfy, keeps the rain out. The hood is an added bonus - the rain sheets down off it, keeping my face dry.

This jacket is perfect for walking my dog in cold or wet weather. Waterproof and light weight were the features that sold me. It is also very warm. It is an attractive and comfortable jacket and my only complaint is that the sleeves are a little too long.

I love this coat! The color, the fit, the shape are amazing! I am short so having the petite option is perfect for me. This jacket is so lightweight and comfortable and it's been a pretty mild winter so far, but this coat feels nice and toasty as well. I would totally recommend this product. We tend to get really cold winters here in Ohio!

I have purchased the Women's Waterproof Ultralight Down Jacket for many years. It's a great jacket: warm, rugged, and waterproof. (It's so rugged indeed that my last one was ripped to shreds protecting my upper body from a rabid raccoon attack, which left me with severe bites on my arms, hands, and legs.) This jacket is good looking enough for me to wear out for a casual dinner, and of course, for winter sports I enjoy such as hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. When temperatures are in the 20's, I wear a merino wool base layer or heavier sweater under it. My only small issue with the new jacket is that the the Petite M doesn't fit me as well as my last regular S. However, the new regular S I tried on was too long, and I felt constrained when sitting down. Perhaps the design changed? At any rate, I'm happy that my favorite winter jacket is still available in the catalog!

I am 5'6" tall and weigh 175. The lilac color is beautiful. I ordered an x/l and have room for a sweater. I like the roominess. Quality is great.

Beyond Awesome! I Love this jacket! Warmth. Fit. Style. Sleek. Waterproof. Hood covers everything! I am 5'6, 145lbs. Have M. The L was so huge! Wore with tank top in 30 degree weather, so toasty! Easily have room for a sweater. Multiple pockets inside as well as outside. Functional, rolled into a ball into carry on, came out perfect. Been looking for the right jacket, not puffy so don't resemble the Michellin Man! This is the one! Shared with a family member, she bought and also loves! Some reviews talk about the "zipper" malfunctioning.....am a 40 year purchaser of LLBean, I know they will fix if an issue. Other reviews also talk about the zipper at bottom not being able to slide up if sitting, not a worry for me or you as there is plenty of room along thigh area. I never write reviews, this jacket is worth a review. It truly is Fabulous!

I love the look, the fit, and the style of this jacket. I chose it because it had down for warmth. I also like the fact that it is waterproof and lightweight - not bulky. I have had down jackets in the past and found them to be warmer than any other jacket I have ever had. I haven't been able to determine if this jacket provides as much warmth as my down jackets from the past, but an extra layer is easy to wear and compensate for needed extra warmth.

I recently bought a large in this style jacket. It runs big throughout the body and sleeve length. Fortunately I can adjust the length because there is velcro at the end of the sleeve. There is plenty of room for multiple layers to wear underneath. I have one other jacket from LLBean, also a large, which fits me perfectly!! I am 5'4 150lbs. I usually wear a large in winter coats. I'm afraid to return for a medium, going through the whole process because that might be smaller than I want. Not sure what to do.

This jacket is lightweight, warm and fits well. I would highly recommend it for a cold weather climate!

Very happy with this jacket. Ordered a medium and fits perfect. The sleeves are a little long but doable. Love the color and the jacket is light weight. Pleased with all the zip pockets.
