Love the neutral, normal gray color, the fit and the waterproof option. I would have bought the higher Trailventure 2 WP also - I tried it on and the fit was great, but it only comes in the classic women's clown shoe colors - bright green and red. I wish Topo would offer nice neutral colors for women - the blacks, browns, camel, olive that men are offered. Not all women want kindergarten colors.

I love the fit of Topos and have nothing to complain about in that regard. Just bought these and took them out for a 15 mile trail run in a little bit of snow and my feet were soaked by mile 4, mostly feeling it on top of my foot. Almost could wring my socks by the end of the run. Confused by this WP claim? Comfy shoes so I'll continue to wear but I specifically purchased to keep dry in winter conditions in the Washington mountains. They failed me completely there.

I have been running for decades in all weather. I got these for New England winter running and they do not disappoint. I have found them to be totally waterproof in driving rain, sleet, and snow. With a wool sock they are unbeatable. You can even run through puddles unless they are near ankle deep. Notably, they are also more grippy than expected on snow and ice as well. I think they might be a little warm for summer since they are not really breathable, but for my purposes, they are perfect!

I'm a year-round mountain trail runner, which includes spike running in the snow/ice or snowshoe running in the winter in Maine. These are perfect (when paired with Topo gaiters) for keeping my toes warm and dry. They are lightweight. They feel a bit stiff holding them, but are super comfortable on my feet. I ordered a half size larger to accommodate a thicker pair of socks.

I followed the size guide and purchased women's size 8.5, this being a EU 40 which is what I wear. I traded them in for a size 9, EU 40.5 which I thought would be too big but fits perfect. I use an orthotic and had to use my thinner pair in this shoe. The shoe seems "shallow" at first and using the thinner orthotic and thinner socks it is just right. The toe box is roomy, the shoe hugs my foot and the sole grips well. I will purchase again!

I was looking for 2 things in a walking shoe - a wide toe box and waterproof. These shoes met both those criteria well. The toe box is roomy and I can attest that these shoes are waterproof! I've been out in very wet, muddy conditions for over an hour and my feet stayed bone dry. I am also impressed with how light weight these shoes are given how sturdy they feel. When I first put them on, they felt a bit stiff but once I started walking the shoe seemed to "soften" and was comfortable. I plan to check out the hiking boot.

This model was new for me, although I have several pairs of Topos. Wanted to try the waterproof style. It seemed tighter in the forefoot/ toebox area so I ordered half size up and that worked better. I'd also suggest that Topo change the tips of the laces to be flat rather than round. I use the lace holes near the top of the ankle but the round lace tips are hard to insert in flat slot holes - like putting round shape into square holes- makes sense, right?

I can't wear mid-rise hiking boots. I've had 3 pairs of Merrill Wide Moab's non-waterproof boots, but (as others have also said) the wide Moab waterproof is objectively not as wide as the non-waterproof version. I have tried on so many waterproof trail runners and hiking boots to no avail. I was anxiously awaiting this WP version, hoping it would work, and it appears to be great. This was my first time wearing them, and I walked around Seattle (mostly on pavement but up and down hills about 7 miles), and my feet feel great. Had the wide toe box that I absolutely needed, didn't rub my ankle or back of my foot, and were totally waterproof in the light rain. Of course, wish they were cheaper and don't know how they will hold up, but so far am ecstatic I finally found something comfortable!!

I bought them for winter hiking in the Pacific Northwest. Extremely comfortable as all my Topos. They fare well in light rain or on wet grass, but after a few hours in moderate rain they let water in. In proper Olympic foothills winter rain. I got completely soaked in just over half an hour. I wish there was more volume in toebox to accommodate thicker socks and/or insulating insole. Topo please offer them in wide sizes and improve on that WP feature!

This is a nice shoe but the toe box is not as roomy as the trail venture which I need, with bunions. I am exchanging for another model. #sweepstakes

My work sometimes requires me to be outdoors in wet weather. I have also have mid-foot arthritis. My feet can only tolerate a zero or 3mm drop so finding a waterproof shoe that meets my needs has not been easy. The Terraventure 4 WP covers it all. I was able to wear the shoes right out of the box for a full day without discomfort to my feet. They're the best!

Took these for a hike through a few stream crossings. It was awesome! No wet feet!! Super comfy and grippy! I love them so much I bought my man a pair!!!

Third week trying these and so far going very well. Roomy toe box is a godsend for my Morton's neuromas. Comfortable secure fit, good shoe lace tie configuration. Am not finding much of a break-in period needed. No blisters so far. Leaving for hiking in Madeira in a few weeks and these will be my trail shoes.

I originally purchased these, my first pair of Topos for a trip to the Azores. They exceeded my expectations and were not only comfortable, kept my feet warm & dry, but I packed minimally so I wore them all the time all day. Hiking in the mountains, exploring the town's & cobblestone roads, the beaches. I went everywhere in them! Then when I came home I wore them to work, to walk the dogs. Now please make some more colors! I'll be getting more!

I really like this shoe for hiking. I have used them once for a trail run and they were also good for that. The toe box is wide. It is still early in my use of them and the longest hike so far in them was 9.5 min and felt great after! I have many issues with my feet and so far I think these may be a winner!

I use my Topos for taking the dog on the local trails. These are my first pair of Hiking shoes, and I love them
