I train herding dogs, so lots of walking, mini sprints in wet grass, mud and along roadsides. They are light weight so I am fairly agile with these shoes unlike some other waterproof brands I've tried. These shoes are supportive, keep my feet dry and are very comfortable. We also enjoy trail hiking and my Terraventure 4 handle uneven surfaces wonderfully.

I have been searching for the perfect hiking shoe that has good grip, a wide toe box, and leaves no blisters or hot spots. This is it. I bought these months ago but I've been holding off on writing a review until I put some real miles on them. I frequently hike the 4000 footers of NH. After wearing these for 5 mountain hikes, with thousands of feet in elevation, I can officially say these shoes check off all the boxes for me. Comfort, traction, and water resistance are fantastic. I've been hiking all summer with these and my feet aren't too hot. Usually a waterproof shoe will heat up fast but my feet stay cool. If you need a super thick sole with lot of cushion like those popular hiking shoes that I won't name but the brand begins with an "H".... these don't have a that, but for me it didn't compromise comfort because my toes feel great and no hot spots from going downhill.

I walk a lot of trails, gravel dirt roads, and through tons of wet grass. Water just beads up on the exterior of these. No more wet feet, soaked socks. The owner of Terraventure 4 (non-WP), I find these slightly tighter all over, and stiffer in feel. I almost sent them back, but after wearing all day, they seemed to loosen and conform to my feet. This is not a cushioned shoe, per se, but it is stable with a solid ground feel. For ref: Pursuit 2 is wider, Traverse narrower than this shoe.

I've wore them daily for years, and they are great.

They are so much lighter than my old Keen hikers. The lower heal improves my posture and the roomy toe box is very comfortable for my bunions. Super pleased with this purchase.

I have been looking for years to find a 'sneaker' i could wear. I wear 'those funny German shoes' pretty exclusively for 20 years. I needed something to wear in Iceland and have not had my trip yet - I have been practicing wearing these and so far, so good! Even wore them for ten hours one day! I am thrilled!

All is well except for shoelaces . Because the color of the shoelaces is the same as the shoe and I am older,I have difficulty distinguishing the laces when I am lacing up. I hope this makes sense. It is not a deal breaker but an annoyance.

Love the roomy toe box, so comfortable.

I wear my Topo's for everything, I have six pairs of them. Everyday wear, fitness walking, hiking and weight training. I love the Topo fit, it is the only shoe that I can wear without any pain. I use my TOPOS for life. Walking and hiking mainly... gym workouts and cardio sessions. I wear them to run errands. I live life in them! They fit super well, they have cushion and stability. A fitted heel cup but WIDE toe box for my toes that I have been working on splaying out and these shows allow them to splay even when in a shoe. Most shoes can't do that! It's everything to me as someone who has 1 hammer toe and 1 neuroma. These shoes have helped fix my problem.

I recently went to Arizona and used them on hikes and climbs. I am not a climber, 1st time at 63 years old. I have to tell you they were amazing! I got one size up because my regular size felt too small with big socks.

I now have 3 pairs of TOPO - running, and 2 hiking - waterproof and not. I love having a shoe that fits my narrow foot but with a wide toe box !! Perfect!

I hike rocky, dusty trails mostly in az. These shoes are the best I've even owned. Love the fit and the look.

No need to shop elsewhere. Best shoe I've ever worn. I have recommended this brand to my friends.

i already own the trailventure hightops and love them. but i wanted something lower and lighter for my summer walks/hikes. really love the fit and feel of these terraventures. i live in the woods on a rough dirt road so my daily walks are more like hikes. i want a rugged shoe. i want a shoe that fits snugly but never tight. and most of all i want a huge toe box. i'd rather walk barefoot if i could. these shoes give me all of that. well done, topo! and thank you.

Yay! Shoes that don't squish my toes and also don't look like Rainbow Brite threw up on them. I also wear Topos to run, but these are for work, where I mostly sit at a desk. I prefer to sit at a desk with comfortable feet and not wearing neon or pastel shoes, so these are perfect.

A friend of mine suggested these for heel pain from planters' fasciitis. The comfort and support is better than any sneaker I have ever worn. My heel does not have pain wearing these.

Wore these while hiking the Salkantay trail which covered a variety of terrains, including snow and jungle. These were comfortable, provided great support, and wear in nicely! No blisters, and they barely need to be broken in. The perfect lightweight hiking shoe!

I bought these a month ago for use on a hiking trip in the Alps in June, as well as walking several miles of trail each day with my dogs. I tried numerous other shoes first, including HOKA's which most of my friends and family love, but none had enough room in the toe box. These fit like a dream even the first time I wore them. I have had a longstanding bursitis issue with one hip, and even that hip is improving now! I just bought another pair because you never know when a manufacturer will change the fit/style slightly!

After wearing the Trailventure WP all winter and loving it, I was looking for a summer, low hiker. I ordered this and the Traverse. I need a lot of support for a foot injury. First, the winter WP boot have become too hot to wear on warmer days so that was a concern. Second, the sole of the Traverse really seemed to give my foot more support. This shoe felt heavier than the Traverse. I may get a pair for later fall hiking but not for this summer as they were comfortable, just not as supportive on the sole. #sweepstakes

Needed 1/2 size larger than usual with this waterproof version, but otherwise roomy toe box and very comfortable fit. Love the low heel/toe drop. Only thing I might suggest for the future is a loop on the back to assist in getting these on.

I love Topo's, the roomy toe box and the strong support with flexibility. I do wish arches were higher but I put in powersoles and it's fine.
