A friend of mine suggested these for heel pain from planters' fasciitis. The comfort and support is better than any sneaker I have ever worn. My heel does not have pain wearing these.

Wore these while hiking the Salkantay trail which covered a variety of terrains, including snow and jungle. These were comfortable, provided great support, and wear in nicely! No blisters, and they barely need to be broken in. The perfect lightweight hiking shoe!

I bought these a month ago for use on a hiking trip in the Alps in June, as well as walking several miles of trail each day with my dogs. I tried numerous other shoes first, including HOKA's which most of my friends and family love, but none had enough room in the toe box. These fit like a dream even the first time I wore them. I have had a longstanding bursitis issue with one hip, and even that hip is improving now! I just bought another pair because you never know when a manufacturer will change the fit/style slightly!

After wearing the Trailventure WP all winter and loving it, I was looking for a summer, low hiker. I ordered this and the Traverse. I need a lot of support for a foot injury. First, the winter WP boot have become too hot to wear on warmer days so that was a concern. Second, the sole of the Traverse really seemed to give my foot more support. This shoe felt heavier than the Traverse. I may get a pair for later fall hiking but not for this summer as they were comfortable, just not as supportive on the sole. #sweepstakes

Needed 1/2 size larger than usual with this waterproof version, but otherwise roomy toe box and very comfortable fit. Love the low heel/toe drop. Only thing I might suggest for the future is a loop on the back to assist in getting these on.

I love Topo's, the roomy toe box and the strong support with flexibility. I do wish arches were higher but I put in powersoles and it's fine.

Amazing shoes! Love them for mucky PNW trails. Could climb walls with the grip on these baddies!

I am 65 plus years and I bought these Topos for safer walking on the marble tile sidewalks which are all over Portugal. A young man at JL Waters in Bloomington, IN recommended them. The shoes were perfect! No slipping despite quite a bit of wet weather. (They were also great for walking the vineyards in the rain-feet stayed dry).

I have 3 pairs of Topos - the Terraventure WP, for cold/wet weather, and 2 MTN Racers (1 in men's - loved the mango color, available in my equivalent size!). I ordered up a half size on the Terraventure WP, and all 3 pairs fit perfectly. My feet feel great when walking - nicely cushioned, well supported . My husband loves his MTN Racers, too, and I'll be ordering the Terraventure WP for him when back in stock. I'm looking forward to increasing weekly miles as my feet feel better!

I have used them for hiking and walking cobbled streets in London and Italy. Rick plates is great. Adequate cushioning and arch support with great no skid grip. My only thought is maybe a slightly stiffer sole to decrease the forefoot bend which is hard on arthritic joints...

Love these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. Tested them in watery conditions right away and they kept my feet totally dry. Just the right amount of support and great treads for the trail. Very happy with the purchase.

I love these shoes! I was wearing Altras for years as I've had mult foot surgeries and need the roomy toe box, but I've noticed that quality and fit were not what they were. One of my friends suggested Topos, and WOW! So well made, roomy enough for my cranky metatarsals, but they don't slip and slide aroundhooray! They have great support and I can work a 12hr shift in them and not be crying at day's end. I now have mult pairs. I feel like I've won a sweepstakes. Thank you!

I have a hard foot to fit. Size 11 women's, with a wide toe spread. I have been an avid hiker for 10 years and I've been looking for a LIGHTweight hiking shoe, waterproof, women's (verses being forced to wear men's shoes), wide toe box, good grip, non-high top. All size 11 women's are too small for me for hiking and running (fine for walking) and I've lost countless toenails. No shoe companies make 11.5 women's, they immediately jump to a 12 once they go to 11. You also don't make an 11.5 (it would be great if you would!), but the 11 in this shoe seems to be long enough! I have worn men's shoes for 10 years, and they are kind of ugly for women and they don't fit me quite right. I have ordered eight different pairs of hiking shoes, from 7 different companies in the last 6 weeks in hopes that I could finally find the glass slipper I've been looking for for a decade. I read about Topo's from one of your customers on positive review they left for you, but on a competitor's website. I just got them and LUCKY NUMBER 9! I love them! I haven't tried them on a hike yet, but walking around my house, they are the first pair of shoes I've had since I've taken up hiking that seem to fit. THANK YOU! I can't wait to hit the trail in them.
PS I think an 11.5 could be even better for me, so please consider making these for us large footed women!

These shoes were really comfortable, although I felt like there’s too much room in the toe box and they kind of looked dorky in grey- almost like old man’s shoes

I own and love a pair of Terraventure 4s. The WP version definitely feels shorter and narrower than the regular version. The are still delightfully wide, just narrower than their non-waterproof counterpart. I sized up a half size which worked better but my heel is moving more than I like in the larger size. Haven't decided if I will keep or not.

I usually wear a size 10. I ordered a 10.5, my to was hitting the front of the shoe. I'll try the size 11

I needed to order up a size (as others had suggested to go up 1/2 size) and continued to have issues with my sensitive toes rubbing on the outside. The wide toe box didn't work for me. I do really like the fit of the arch and heal, it felt snug in a good way holding my posterior foot well.

First, I want to say that my shoes were lost in the mail and customer service was spectacular. They sent a new pair of shoes and I got them a week later.
I also own one other pair of Topo shoes, which I've had for a year. And these I've had for a few weeks. Overall, I really really like these. The only problem is heel slippage. I was worried they were going to be unwearable the first time I tried them on, but after wearing them a few times the heel slippage is much less. I agree with the other review that the fit of the heel is noticeably wider than my other topo shoes of the same size.

Great shoe however a little too stiff for my foot issue. Bunion ? Wish they named it something different !
But I loved the fit

Loved other Topo shoes with their large toebox and wanted to love these as they are waterproof. Not enough cushioning for me. Trailventure 2 WP says it has high cushioning so I will try those next.

A lot of folks are fans of topos and I can understand why. Fit is excellent, comfortable, no blisters. My concern lies with the sole and lack of grip on scree, loose rocks, dry dirt etc. especially on technical trails, when backpacking and day hiking. I've slipped/fell compared to other shoes on looser ground - the grip simply isn't there in my opinion and I don't feel confident navigating through myriad of surfaces. Minor issue was tip of the sole started to loosen but after gluing, it's holding fine. Lastly, after 1 season, the soles feel quite worn. I don't think they are durable as a 2 season shoe if clocking than 40 miles on steep uphill and downhill terrain with mixed surfaces. That being said, I still like the shoes and will use them for gentle trail running. Highly recommend for that purpose.

Love all of the Topos I've ever owned! Decided to try the waterproof Terradventure 4 but these seems to run 1/2 smaller then any of my other Topos I've purchased. Exchanging for a bigger size.
