These boots are very disappointing. The heel cup is way too large. You can literally kick this boot right off your foot. I'm actually shocked LL Bean sells these as they are. I returned mine and went with another brand. Your loss LL Bean. I cannot recommend this product until it is completely redesigned.

Horrible fit. Tries 1 size smaller than usual as suggested. It was way too large in both length and width. Returned for next size smaller, nartowest width. It was way too short, and way too wide. Tried thick socks, double socks. These boots are not made to fit. Seems like a pack boot molded bottom without the packs. Incredibly poor design. Waste of money shipping back and forth. Sorry Bean. Never again.

The sizing is not even close. I ordered the size (13, he normally wears a 14) recommended on the sizing guide for my husband's Christmas gift. The boots were so large that they flopped when he tried to walk.

Needed a 91/2 D but had to get a 10 which was too big. Am returning these shoes to exchange.

I received a pair today and they slip off like a flip flop. I wear a 7.5-8 in men's shoes and boots and I ordered a size 7 and they are extremely loose and not worth a darn to wear in anything other than dry concrete. Don't try them in water or mud you will loose your shoe and end up with wet feet. You would think as long as LLBean has been making boots that they would have thought about this or designed them a little differently to stay on people's feet. LLBean I know you can do better!

I'm a mens 11-11.5 in sneakers and a 10 in Bean Boots. I ordered a 10 in these and they're very big. The ankle opening is probably 2-3 inches too large and the elastic is useless. You basically walk out of the boots with each step. I tried a size 9 on in the store, thinking that would solve the problem, but it didn't. Although the 9 fit better length wise, the foot opening was still way too larger and still had a ton of movement with each step. I can see how people are saying they rolled their ankle in these. I want these to workout for me, but sadly I'll be returning.

Terrible sizing. I'm a size 9 1/2. Tried on sizes 8 and 10 in the store, the 8 was to tight and the 10 way to big. Store didn't have a 9 so had to order on line. The 9 was to big. Waste of time. Your request for my comments said it was a 6 1/2 boot, even you got that wrong.

The boots are just too unstable and loose with my normal size 9 and even if downsized they wouldn't fit. My heel continued to pop up as I walked and no side to side support. I wound up rolling and hurting my ankle getting out of my truck (for real!). I returned them and LLBean quickly handled the return and purchased a regular set of gum boots and love them..

I wear a size 11. I ordered a size 11 they were too big. I ordered a size 10 still too big. I sent them back as well.

I ordered 1 size down. Still soooooo big and so floppy. To wide, and I have wide feet. Also came with a blob of adhesive on the leather.

I love bean boots but these are made weird. They flop all over and even when sized down don't fit right around the upper foot and ankle
