I've had Altras for the last 3-4 pairs and love them because they fit wide. Now, they have made them too narrow.......

Purchased regular width but too narrow so switched for wide. Width good. Upper has nice feel when you slip it on. However after that it's terrible. The foam is so dense and heavy feels like a piece of plywood. Lots of heel slippage. Over all clunky and not a fun ride. I really don't look forward to wearing this shoe but kept it a few too many days to return. Don't recommend at all for running.

I've had these for about 4 months now and am so disappointed. The uppers are so thin they're torn along stress lines and heels and barely wearable. I only wear them for work so it's not overuse

I have worn the Torin for years. Torin 6 wide was not wide. This Torin 7 wide feels like they took the men's and put a ladies size on it. So dissatisfied with this shoe.

I bought hoping they would be as comfortable as my previous pairs, they've discontinued wides in every style in my size so bought the regular. Super sad they are uncomfortable. I hope they bring back wides.

I worn Torins for years, & love the fit, but I'm looking for something else? I've gone thru 3 pairs in a year mostly walking. The uppers are so thin they wore out in few weeks. The soles wear out just as fast.

Ouch! As soon as I put them on the tongue rubbed on the top of my foot before I even stood up! The tongue is so narrow, but it is sewn in so oddly. I put them on, wore them a bit and my feet hated them even just sitting here. I had to put on my ancient ghost 15's to let them relax. I would try wide, but none are availablelike ZERO IN MY SIZE! This is a weird company who obviously cannot keep up with demand. I'm going to try Topos, they have my size in stock and hopefully my feet won't freak in the first 2 seconds of sliding my feet in. I gave two stars, because so many shoes are SO UGLY! Only the black are a little stylish. Horrible colors, but it doesn't matter, because my size and the sizes above and below are ALL OUT OF STOCK! The other styles are UGLY, and I am annoyed, so even if I could try another style, I'm too annoyed by the immediate pain I got from these on top of my foot (with laces totally spread out and I do not have thick feet), and the fact that I cannot even try to order my size in wide. Lost a customer almost immediately!

What a bummer! These are my fourth Torins. I am so sad because they definitely don't fit like the others. They feel like a half size too big, but it took me awhile to figure out that was the problem because the toe box is so narrow. It pushes my foot back so that I have to do the forward push stomp to jam my toes forward. I always have to put some miles on a pair of shoes to break them in, but I'm at 50 miles and I just want to cry every time I put them on to go running because wasting money makes me sad so I feel obligated to tough it out.

These were an instant return for me. These shoes just felt way to narrow and I don't normally have to order narrow shoes. Maybe it's for the best since my husband has been wearing these and they triggered Plantar Fasciitis for him.

I am in love with my torin 7 wide womens. These are discontinued? The rounded toe and deep box with the other standard features make this the most comfortable running shoe I've had. Now I must switch brands. I wish I'd bought multiple pairs. I hope they bring back the WIDE DEEP TOE BOX. People admired them and asked what make they were. All of us ladies are having toe trouble bring back the wide!

I like everything about these, except for the heels. After a month of wear, the inside of the heels have developed holes in the fabric, which has given me blisters. No response from cust serv

I love the wide toe box. Was told the soles of these shoes last forever. Unfortunately, that's all that will be left of the shoes after only 4.5 months of wear just for going on daily walks. For the price, I expected a longer lasting shoe! The fabric parts are totally worn out and have holes and disintegration all over. Sad.

I've been running distance in Torin since version 5. Loved this shoe until now. The rim of the shoe hits my ankles leaving slight bruising/swelling. The toe box is not as wide as previous versions. Please consider going back to version 5/6. Unfortunately, I won't be able to run in these shoes. Thanks for your consideration.

I would return but didn't purchase online. This would be my third pair of Torin but they don't measure up. Toe box is not that roomy and should not be used to describe them. They are more narrow in the middle of the foot but shoe slips on my heel. Improvement in the tongue is it is now well padded; however, overall Im so disappointed. I tried to get comfortable in them but I will not wear these. I'll need to go back to Hoka for a proper fit.

These are the worst of a series of bad Torin models. They hurt my feet and won't break in. They're narrow. The ankle is loose. The laces are too stretchy. I'm looking at other brands again.

I don't know who ultra thinks they're fooling, but I have gone through three pairs of Torin sneakers and have never had a problem, Until these!! The very comfortable toebox no longer exists my front toes on the outside at the top, where rubbing against the toebox and the cord at the top of the sneaker was cutting into my ankles. 20 minutes into a 40 minute workout. I had to take them off because they were killing my feet.!!

Great feeling shoe, love the wide toe box but the fabric has ripped on both shoes in less than a month. Doubt they will last 6 months

I wear a size six w shoe. I have a big bunion by my big toe on my left foot. I wore my shoes to work and my left foot was hurting so bad on the top that I had to walk around my office without my shoes on. I returned both pairs that I ordered. I would recommend these shoes to a person with perfect feet.

I have loved the Torins in the past even though there were issues with the tongue in more recent versions. I jad to return the 7s because they are so narrow. I really wish Altra would stop trying to be so innovative. I was drawn to the brand for the wide toe box and now it's hit or miss with way more misses lately. (I did not order directly from altra)

My first pair of Torins was the 4.5. They were game changing for me due to a neuroma in my foot. I loved them. Eventually they wore out. I got the 5s and hated them. The 6s came out and I got them. Better than the 5s but not the 4.5s by any means. I found the 6s on sale and ended up with 4 pairs of them. Two are still in the box and I don't even want them because my first two pairs are already falling apart. The soles are peeling, the sides are splitting. No where near the quality of my 4.5s. No where near as comfortable and my 4.5 are still in great condition the soles are just worn out from running. Very disappointed. Just bought the Olympus, hoping for a better experience.

Design change resulted in more narrow shoe; I can no longer return for a men's version of this one. HUGE disappointment. Laces are too short! I cannot even purchase longer laces to match. Do better!

I loved the fit and feel of my Torins. The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. But unfortunately they do not hold up. The material breaks down. They are falling apart. They were not even a year old. I contacted customer service but I never heard back. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing another pair. Which is a disappointment because I really liked the pair I had.

I LOVE Altras. This was my 4th pair! HoweverI returned these. The area just at the end of the ties are too narrow now and caused a lot of problems and pain! Very sad! Wish they would stop changing!
