I love the material. There are two big problems. The most important is that they are HUGE. I double checked the size because I just could no believe that they were extra small. They were large enough for 1.5 of me. The second issue is that if they had fit they ride too low for me. These are not low waist but hit just above your hips. I packaged up the return immediately.

I like this product very much, but I ordered a size larger, washed before wearing, as instructed, but they are too big. Don't know if I can return or not.

The waistline on these pants is too low-cut, not what I expected. Unfortunately, I had to return them. May be a better fit for people with a flatter buttocks. LLBean, please consider making these with a normal waistline.

These pants are great - comfortable look good, I like the colors, and they are perfect for working in the garden or going out for errands. So why the 2 stars? They don't stay up. No matter how tight I tie the drawstring the pants are determined to slide down. I feel like I need to find a rope like what Huck Finn wore to keep his pants up.
There is an easy solution for this: The drawstring should remain in place for show, and there should be an internal cinch similar to what you find on just about any winter coat that would allow the wearer to pull the pants snug. Or, how about belt loops?

I saw these in the catalog and go excited because I'm looking for some comfortable light-weight cotton drawstring pants. But when I looked at the photos of the pants online and read some of the other reviews I realized that these look more like "jogger" style pants, which I do not like at all - a little baggy on top and skinny at the legs (not a flattery style for many women). Will you please offer these pants in a straight leg style without the cargo pocket (which is also unflattering on most women)?

Hardly slim leg. This is example of "vanity sizing"

Sizing is inconsistent. I
ordered same pants in different color and liked them enough to order another pair. I returned them because they were much larger than my first pair.

I ordered these July 24, 2024. These are NOT even close to being a slim leg pant. The waist was too loose without cinching it. Odd styling. Needed a lightweight summer pant, which they are but oversized for an XS Petite. Had to return.

I thought these pants would be lightweight and comfortable. The waistband is very wide and thick. It's not a very attractive style. Too clingy and I dislike the stretch fabric. Even with the drawstring tied, these pants won't stay up. I haven't worn elastic waist pants since I was a child! I returned the pants for a refund.

I don't care for the material. I have washed both pairs and the material still isn't comfortable. This color is more brown than rose after washing I don't wear either pair.

I loved these pants for several years and had 2 pair. I ordered a pair recently in dark taupe and my usual size(xsp); they were too roomy in the hip area, like they were not sized correctly, and I gave them to my sister who fit into them well. I'd like another pair but am afraid to order again and get the same result so sorry as these were my favorites for everyday wear and hiking.

Does anyone see elastic at the bottom of these pants and they are also 5" above my ankles (I'm 5'3").

These pants are very thin. Poorly made and way overpriced. Run huge to size also. Ordered two pair and sent them back. I just want a nice pair of quality pants with a side phone pocket. Come on already. Women need a phone pocket!

Was hoping these would be the very light rip-stop you can get from Prana, but at a good price. Ha ha.. no. They are super heavy, not at all attractive.

I am really disappointed. I ordered an 8 petite and they are huge. I think 2 of my legs could fit easy leg in these pants. I can't order a smaller size because then the pants would be too short as the 8 petite was exactly the right length. LL Bean, you need to do better.

I like llbean products, I called them before ordering these pants about how to take care of them, they told me do it as instructed, they are good till you wash them, can't get rid of the wrinkles.

I had bought these pants a few years ago, they were a perfect fit , with great pockets. Bought them again thinking it would be the same quality. These were so long , too stretchy and when you put it on it goes all the way to your armpit. Because of the hassle of returning, never did manage to return. The quality is so bad I would be happy to give zero star
