I've worn Brooks Ariels for almost 20 years. Deeper heel needed to avoid tightening of Achilles tendon which needed to be re-sectioned in 2006, in addition to 4 ankle surgeries. I am 81 years old, but have participated in many sports since grade school. It's the only shoe I wear unless I go to a formal event (very seldom). My Podiatric Surgeon was Chairman of that department in one of the top hospitals in the U.S. I haven't needed more ankle surgery for 12 years.

I love this shoe. I have severe pronation in my right food and the Ariel 23 helps move my foot forward. My only criticism is the colors! Please add some nice shoe colors. Why does the adrenaline get so many? Thanks.

Love these shoes. I've worn them for several years and keep coming back to them after trying other brands. I think they work best for my foot which is a bit wide with some bunion-like issues. I like to walk and when wearing these Ariels, I can walk for miles and miles. I wore them to Europe where my boys and I walked about 10 miles a day for over two weeks! I had no feet problems. I highly recommend them. They do tend to run small, so go up a half size from your normal size.

Been wearing Ariels for years now and I was concerned after reading reviews they would be too tight in the toe box for my bunions, but they fit just as great as the Ariel 20s did! I do not really love the color choices though of the 23.

They are a bit stiff, not as comfortable as my Ariel 20. Wish I could find the Ariel 20 in my size

I have been wearing brooks Ariel shoes for last several years. They give me the most support. And seem to hold up pretty well. The Ariel GTS 23 feels better than my last Ariels. One of the things I wasnt pleased with on previous shoes is the heal support area. It would collapse when slipping shoes on requiring a shoe horn. The Ariel GTS23 is much firmer when putting on. I really appreciate that I dont have to hunt down the shoe horn every time. Thank you for that.

The guide rails are nowhere near as effective as the previous configuration for stability. As much as I love Ariel I'm going to have to return these. I had high hopes but I have severe overpronation. It's more my feet than the shoes I'm sure

A stability shoe that fits great and is comfortable when I run. My only complaint is there needs to be more fun colors!

I usually wear the Ariel but they were out of my size so I ordered these Aerial GTS 23. Theyre ok but the shoe on the inside doesnt feel as supportive as the regular Ariels. Next order I will just wait until they have the correct ones on.

Outstanding support. Enough room in the shoe for my custom orthotics. The only running shoe I can wear without my feet hurting. They help to ease my over-pronation and ankle pain as well. I don't even run any more, but I wear these shoes everyday almost all day, inside and out. Thank you Brooks!

I also experienced the Ariel as a bit short and also a bit narrow. Ive been wearing the Adrenaline for the past 20 years. I wanted to try the Ariel because my balance was off and it did actually improve my gait. I tried to keep them and wear them in but the fit wa too tight. Ive never needed a wider fit so Im not sure if I should try a wider fit or go up a half size. I do like the shoe very much. I had to return them.

I like the new Ariel GTS 23 . I got the all black . I use them mostly for walking . I have 2 hip replacements and 2 knee replacements . I have worn the Ariels since they first came out . Great support and my orthotics fit in my new sneakers fine . I wear them for over pronation. I sincerely miss my purple Ariels . Not too crazy about the new color selection at all.

Ariel was prescribed to me by my foot surgeon after reconstructive surgery for a fallen arch. After years of orthotics, Ariel is all I need to support my foot/ankle. I love them!!

I love these shoes so much so I ordered another pair. I had been having trouble with my balance. These feel so good and really help. Love the colors to choose from also.
