Elite Feet suggested these shoes as I was having problems with calluses. Great fit and easy to keep clean!

I just purchased my second pair of the Ariel GTS 23 because I loved my first pair so much. I have a neuroma on my right foot so struggle with shoes that are not wide enough in the toe box and don't have enough cushioning. I wore my first pair walking many miles in Austria and Germany and never had any foot pain. I love these shoes! I did order up 1/2 size in these to get the best fit.

Love the look and feel of these shoes. It has a cushion insole that I love. I would recommend these to anyone who spends most of the day on their feet.

I normally wear size 8.5 medium, but had to size up to a size 9 (after reading some reviews) and it was perfect.
I already own a pair of Brooks (Trace), but I wanted a good Brooks walking shoes that's not white, but a neutral color. So happy to have found the Ariel GTS 23 in Chateau Grey/White Sand color. I wore it every day during our 5-week long trip to Europe and these did NOT disappoint. I walked an average of 18,000 to 20,000 steps a day, and at the end of each day I could have walked another 20,000 steps. Though I do not have any foot problems, I didn't feel any pain or tiredness at all at the end of each day.
Walking on cobblestones and sometimes uneven pavements - there were a couple of instances where I could have easily sprained my ankle had I not worn these shoes.
Great comfort and support overall! Very happy with my purchase.

Great shoe for my arthritic feet. Only shoe I have where my feet do not hurt at end of the day. I wear all day inside and for lite walking. Ive tried other Brooks shoes and these are the best for me.

These are excellent quality, nicely padded and stable for walking (I am not a runner). I had to replace my old Ariels after almost daily wear for 3 years. They are expensive but worth the price. I got two pairs this time to switch them out :) I really like the shoes!

I am a distance runner who has worn nothing but Brooks Ariels for 23+ years. I have stuck with them through many design changes, some of which I liked and some I didnt, but this latest version is just not up to your usual standards. I bought 2 pairs in late June because I always keep a new pair on hand. I run, on average, 35 miles a week and typically go through 5 or 6 pairs of shoes per year, sometimes more if I have a lot of rainy runs when they are getting wet. After 2.5 weeks of use on this new version, the aches and pains that indicate its time for new shoes have already begun. These shoes have way less bounce than former models so I dont know if it is the foam sole or what, but less than 3 weeks of use on a pair of shoes doesnt cut it, not only due to the cost (20 pairs of shoes per year!) but also so terrible for the environment. I miss the Ariels of 2016 and earlier that were true stability shoes. I got used to the newer versions since then but this most recent iteration is really disappointing. Im going to buy all of the 2020 Ariels I can find online in my size and hope you all will bring back a better version of these shoes by the time I run out of 2020s. I have run through close to 150 pairs of Ariels at this point, and although there have been other changes that I havent loved over the years, whatever has been done this time has significantly shortened the lifespan of the shoe for those of us who are using them as a daily distance trainer. Bring back any of the old versions, please!!

Love this so much more than prior iterations, particularly the stiffer back of the shoe that no longer rolls down when I slip my foot in. So stable, but not stiff. Can walk in these for days!

Absolutely the best shoe ever. I am not a runner but have bad foot issues. These shoes have saved me from pain ! They are light, cool, comfortable and have a roomy toe box. Perfect for anyone with foot issues. Cushioned too ! All I will ever buy now.

Its roomy and relatively cushiony. Ive never worn a stability shoe before. Sometimes I feel like its causing some foot pain but Im not certain. Im curious how Ill like the ariel in the long term.
Id been a hoka bondi fan for years, but after having foot surgery I dont think theyre wide enough and they cause some foot pain. At this point I think your adrenaline is my favorite shoe. Its comfortable, roomy, and doesnt cause foot pain. Thank you for carrying some extra wide sizes.

Im not a runner but I walk a lot on pavement. Im 70 and need more cushion and arch support than I did when younger. I like the cushion, but dont find the arch to be high enough support. I added Sport insoles below the ones that came with the shoe. I keep both in the shoe. Now I feel they fit my needs. Size wise the toe box is very generous. I usually wear a 6, but I like to add an additional insole. These 6.5 were too big and roomy for me but once I added the insole they are perfect in comfort and size. I also like the more streamlined look than the bulky looking profile of Hoka, which I was considering for comfort but hated the look.

Really enjoying my new Ariel GTS 23! They are roomier in the toe box and felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. I am ordering another pair because they fit so well!

The Ariel 23 run on the narrow side compared to the Ariel 20. Im exchanging the shoes for a wider size and have high hopes for this model as I love my old Ariel sneakers.
For photo reference, the shoe on the left is an Ariel 20 size 11W, the shoe on the right is an Ariel 23 size 11W.

Purchased 2 pairs of Ariel GTS 23s through local running store at suggestion from my podiatrist. Ive always worn Adrenaline or Glycerin and really didnt want this large stability shoe, but my plantar fasciitis won that argument. I usually wear 9.5 but had to get a 10 so I could swap out the insole for my Super Feet green arch supports the podiatrist also suggested and not have my toes bumping the front. (I highly recommend these for more arch support for flat feet and less foot flexion.) The length is right, but theres so much volume up front, I have to wear thick socks so Im not floating around in the shoe and they still feel big. Would be nice if there was a narrow size in that model. Ive tried the other GTS models using the inserts but they dont compare to the Ariels and my foot pain returns, which is a bummer since these cost more and have limited color combinations. Ive read articles saying these are the last true stability support shoes on the market, so hopefully Brooks will keep making them!
