Love my new Ariels! I have flat feet that overpronate and since discovering this shoe two years ago, Ill never go back. The only thing I wish is that there would be more colors to pick from.

I've been wearing Ariel's for years due to narrow flat feet. I have 3 pairs of Ariel 20's that I currently use for for 3 mile walks 3 times a week. I ordered the black Ariel GTS 23 when it was released on Sept. 1, 2023 to wear on 10-day trip to Portugal and Spain in October. The Ariel 23's were very comfortable walking on the many cobblestone sidewalks and roads throughout Portugal and Spain. I found that I didn't need to tighten the shoelaces as tight on the Ariel 23 as the Ariel 20. I also liked the heel padding better on the Ariel 23 than the Ariel 20. The only thing I didn't like in the black Ariel 23 was the white portion--if you are going to make a black shoe-make it all black. Finally, I would love to see more colors in the Ariel 23. I loved the colors of the Peacoat/Vivid Viola/White Ariel 20.

Something changed with these shoes. I have been wearing Ariels for over 20 years and they have always been perfect. I have woren these twice and both times my arches feel strained and I cant wait to take them off.

These shoes squeaked so badly on my wooden floors that I have to return them. I also prefer an all black option (including sole) but I might have kept these if not for the loud noise they make walking in my house.

I really liked the look and feel of this shoe except that it doesn't offer enough arch support for me. I see from a Brooks blog that if you have high arches you need to use your own orthotic in their shoes. I didn't realize that when I ordered these. My Merrells and Skechers Arch Fit don't need orthotics and are a lot cheaper. So goodbye Brooks!

I have worn the Ariel for many years and always wore a size 7. They are still my favorite supportive sneaker but they keep making them smaller!! I got a 7.5 the last time and my toes poked through the mesh. So this time I'm trying an 8 and I'm still not sure it's going to work. Love the guide rails especially!

How could the 10 wide be so much smaller than the 10 2e that I previously ordered?

I have high hopes for these but there are a few things I didn’t like: they are narrow which made it uncomfortable but also not very stylish. I already sized up 1/2 size. The sole material look cheap. A bit like styrofoam.

Not thick enough under ball of foot. Bring back the Ariel 19. Also, These shoes go flat quickly.

Loved the look of the shoe and the comfort, however when walking the shoe slipped on my heel. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Big disappointment. These 23 are nothing like the Ariel 20. Why fix when it was never broken. I gave my 23's to my daughter-in-law. I did like the color.

Everything about these are great, except the width. I have never needed wide width shoes (my other Brooks are not wide width either). These are too narrow in the toe box and have caused blisters on my big toe from rubbing against the shoe and I can't wear them. I have very narrow feet so I'm not sure if it's the style of shoe or if something just went wrong with these.

Been wearing Brooks for quite a long time. Loved the Ariel's and always bought them but I am not a fan of the 23 version. They seem narrower in the toe box. Arch support and overall support is not as good as the 20 's. Not as solid as earlier versions. Hope you get back to a sneaker more like the 20 version. I do not run but was having problems with post tibial tendonitis in the ankle/ foot and the Ariel's were recommended and the earlier versions were great for that and overall support. I wear these all day , every day.Hope you consider going back to what made the 20's and earlier versions great!!

Compared to the previous version of the Ariel, the new version is very disappointing. The cushioning is greatly reduced and the arch support is reduced as well. Why did Brooks mess with the perfect shoe?

If I remember correctly, it said to order half a size larger because they ran small, 10 to 10.5, big mistake, I'm thinking 10W would have been a wiser choice. They are way too big.

I wear a 6.5 in non-athletic shoes. I have worn a 7 in Brooks Ariel for many years. Manufacturers have changed and I started wearing a 7.5 in the Brooks Ariel 20. Now that the BA20 is no longer offered, I tried the Brooks Ariel GTS in size 7.5. The left shoe was less than 1/8" longer than the right shoe and enough to make an impact in how I walked.

I recently purchased Glycerine 21 GTS shoes in black & really like them. My podiatrist recommended Beast which I only found for men. Brooks website said Ariel was the equivalent for women. The reviews were not very good but I ordered them based on the recommendation of Brooks customer service. I ordered 9 1/2 W but they were tight and not at all cushioned. I am returning them & hoping the other colors of Glycerine become available in my size.
