Comfortable. But seems like she was changed? I am disappointed due to the shoes angle down in front. Shoes should be more of a level feel. Not sure if Im returning or keeping. I walk for exercise so time will tell Dont think I would recommend

I got the grey/black/pink color. I have EXTREMELY flat feet, over pronation (I basically walk on my ankles), fissures and arthritis in my feet/ankles. Walking is excruciating after 15 min. regardless of shoe type. This shoe was recommended by the salesman who sized and fitted my feet in these shoes w an Aetrex insole. Immediately my ankles were supported off the ground, my posture improved, my lumbar back pain and foot pain disappeared. Ive worn these for two days inside my home as well as walking around doing errands, shopping, etc. Things which before these shoes, I could barely do one thing a day before pain and exhaustion ended my day. Theyre wide enough but not too wide, I have average width feet size 7, they fit true to size. I am in awe w these shoes!

MAJOR quality control issues. I love the sneaker but after only a few weeks the inner tow lining detaches creating a terrible issue inside the show. I had two pairs sent to me to replace the ones that did this. Both had the same issue. Brooks customer support was good and willing to send a new pair and admitted they were aware of the issue. At least. This is frustrating as I finally found a pair of sneakers that prevented a lot of the foot pain I was having with every other sneaker brand. Hopefully Brooks will step up and improve the manufacturing issues.

The shoe offers support it was recommended by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. I have high arches. I wish it came in all white. Im a teacher and need cute colors that match street/casual clothes. The black goes with a lot of my jeans.

My husband bought these as a Christmas present so never tried them on beforehand. They are wonderful! Attractive and great support. I am not a big person but need the extra wide because of bunions. I tore a perineal tendon about 4 years ago and really needed good shoes. Right now they are my inside shoes, but use the previous models for outside. I normally do a lot of walking for exercise and recommend these shoes highly.

Everything about these are great, except the width. I have never needed wide width shoes (my other Brooks are not wide width either). These are too narrow in the toe box and have caused blisters on my big toe from rubbing against the shoe and I cant wear them. I have very narrow feet so Im not sure if its the style of shoe or if something just went wrong with these.

So disappointed. I waited a long time to upgrade from the 20 to the 23. The cushioning is greatly reduced and there is much less arch support. The 20s were amazing-didnt need orthotics and they felt great on. The 23s are not what they should be.

I have worn the Ariel for many years and always wore a size 7. They are still my favorite supportive sneaker but they keep making them smaller!! I got a 7.5 the last time and my toes poked through the mesh. So this time Im trying an 8 and Im still not sure its going to work. Love the guide rails especially!

The shoe provides a lot of stability, especially in the forefoot. The only thing it needs is a small amount of bounce-back/cushioning in the sole, and for the top to have more shaping/curving in, at the arch.

I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis on both feet. The Ariel 18 and 20 are the only shoes I can wear and so have purchased for numerous years. New Ariel GTS 23 arrived Dec 12th and cant wear them. What changed?? This is very this appointing. Shoes are expensive, but since they helped me, I always purchased. But to buy a pair of shoes that I can no longer wear is leaving a bad taste on my mouth. Please change back to original Ariel shoe.

I had tried two other Brooks models and they just didnt work but this Ariel is just what I needed. I just completed a 6 day race and did not have any problems with my feet and for the first time didnt have to change to another pair of shoes or cut them . I need a wide toe box and this is perfect!

It seemed to be a well built and comfortable shoe but even around the house it felt that it was rolling my foot out and the little heel back seemed lower. It might have been a case of breaking it in but after 5 minutes my ankle began to actually hurt so I returned them. Fortunately I had also bought a pair of Ariel 20s (my 3rd I think) and they fit as usual; very comfortable and very durable. Please don't change them.

Please continue to make this shoe! I have multiple foot issues. The Ariel is the only shoe that fits my narrow ankles yet normal to wide toe box, works with my custom orthotics, and is supportive and cushioned enough to allow me to walk for exercise. I did notice though that the lighter colored pair of the GTS23 I bought fits a bit larger than the black pair. Perhaps a quality control issue or the lighter fabric may be a factor. Again, please continue to keep the Ariel on the market for years to come!

Really liked these but they are not a good fit for a high arch, I'm not sure why Brooks makes some of their shoes so small on the top of the foot in the instep area. I have to really loosen the laces a lot for them to be loose enough in that area and on these shoes the laces are not long enough to accommodate that at all. I've had this problem with some of the Brooks in the past. Too bad because they seemed comfortable otherwise.

I chose these to replace my Adrenaline 22, it's a eel made shoe, nice soft cushioning , however with the rounded toe box, they fit too short for my right (longer) foot. The Adrenaline's tie shape is more traditional-pouted giving my feet more room. If it weren't for this design I would have kept the Ariel GTS 23
