From the moment I put the Beast GTS 23 on, I could feel the stability. I normally do not run in a stability shoe, but I found that these were great for days when I was running and pushing my children in a stroller after a day of harder training the day prior. My feet sometimes hurt after speed work or threshold work, and these provided a break to my feet with the right amount of stability and cushion. However, I will say, if youre not used to a stability shoe, these do very much control your motion. As for negatives with the shoe, I felt as if they were a little heavy and too rigid, even though they provided relief to my feet. The shoe was less comfortable when I wore them throughout the day for casual wear. This was also my complaint when I attempted to use them on days for regular training runs. I felt as if the sole of the shoe did not bend at all, which led to increased demand of my calfs. But, to end on a positive, I did love the all black as it was classic and matched with everything.

The shoes are great took away my foot pain.

Probably the most comfortable shoes I have worn.

The shoe fits my foot like a glove plus it is cushion and support around the foot. Ive worn beasts before and this is the best shoe I have worn.

The Beast 23 is not as cushioned as the Beast 20.

SAME FIT AS 2020 BEAST - IMPROVED SUPPORT

Im not a runner anymore. Bad ankles. Bad knees. Abhorrently flat feet. But I dont feel any of that with these. They continue the great support and quality of previous Beast iterations and now in all black! I try other brands and nothing stacks up to these. I can wear them 12 hours and I dont notice any struggle or pain. Theyre that good.

A week in shoe seems like a nice upgrade from the BEAST 20. Solid feel and comfortable when pounding the pavement. Now we just need them in lots of colors like all the other brands!!

I bought my first pair of Brooks Beast shoes in the 1990s. This is the best yet. Not as stiff as the older versions but still supportive. Great feel and they look awesome. Highly recommend!

They seem to have a defect where they dimple on the toe and wrinkle.

Very comfortable, Im not a runner but a big guy who needs good stable cushioned shoes. These fit the bill perfectly

The Beast is a shoe that always fits great and there is no breaking in period. I can wear them all day without effecting my plantar fasciitis.

I like the shoe, maybe a little Stiff right now. I would have preferred the color as illustrated in the Photo with the white sole in lieu of all black. I have been buying the beast for years and I like the overall support!

It seems to mostly be a good shoe. The biggest problem I have with it is that I wear afo braces with all of my shoes. I have several different styles of brooks shoes and this is the only pair that squeak loudly when I walk. They don't squeak when I wear them without the afos. I've been wearing them to see if they would break in and quit squeaking but so far no luck. I really need to wear the afos most of the time so these don't really work for me.

Longtime purchaser of Brooks Beast shoes...about one pair every three months. I purchased the Gray/Scarlet/Ebony color. Minor inconvenience that the material seems to be a dirt magnet. And this is from pavement walking with very little walking on dry dirt. Bigger issue is that the tread material of choice for the ball of the foot wears out way too fast. It's a different material than the heel...which holds up just fine. If this is the longterm replacement for the Brooks Beast '20, I may have to find another brand, and I've been a user of Beast shoes for over 20 years fairly religiously.

I have wide feet (4E) and this shoe fits beautifully. I only wish there were more interesting colorway options for my wide feet across the Brooks product line.

First off I'm not a runner; I generally walk between 3-5 miles every night as a nurse. I choose Brooks Beast because they last, my last pair was about two years old still comfortable minus the separation of sole and forefoot. The new Beast 23 GTS fits and is comfortable with some caveats. First off the overall shoe seems solid, albeit cheaper built. Comparing to the original Beast 18, the inner liner is less cushioned, but thankfully without the drawbacks that the sole of the 18 suffered (time will tell). I miss the tongue tied feature, which kept my foot firmly in the shoe; unfortunately my foot tends to slide forward in the new Beast 23 GTS Variant. This is my one sneaker /shoe whatever go to, used for hiking, walking, running, camping etc. I appreciate Brooks for their EEEE width shoe size option, some more color variation would be nice. Bring back tongue tied.
