Thank you so much for making the 23 Beast in a SOLID BLACK! There are so many of us with foot/pronation problems that dont want a shoe for running - but need more dressy looking supportive shoes to wear every day, not just for athletic use, and do not want to have to buy orthopedic shoes - and the solid black Beast is perfect. I have been wearing the Beast for years, buying 2 at a time, 1 for indoor use and 1 for outdoor use since my podiatrist told me Brooks are the best. And thanks for making 4Es! I am placing another order today!

I've worn the Beast 18 and Beast 20. The Beast 23 feels lighter in weight than the 18 or 20. For me that means that it doesn't feel as supportive a the Beast 20. Time will tell. I thought the same about the Beast 20 over the Beast 18 and I eventually got used to them. I still have a set of Beast 18 and two Beast 20 so I am able to compare.

The best fitting shoe for my orthopedic inserts .

I use prescription orthotics. I have checked out my current orthotics in both Beast 20 and Beast 23. I observe Beast 20 more comfortable than Beast 23. Wish a Beast 20 in 4E was available during process.

Very comfortable, I'm not a runner but a big guy who needs good stable cushioned shoes. These fit the bill perfectly

I like the shoe, maybe a little Stiff right now. I would have preferred the color as illustrated in the Photo with the white sole in lieu of all black. I have been buying the " beast " for years and I like the overall support!

These shoes are for people who want a very sturdy running shoe. The shoe manages to lock your foot solidly in place and also remain comfy enough for all day wear. There is very little flex in the shoe and they feel exactly like it says on the side of the shoe "guide-rails". They did feel a tad uncomfortable on longer runs on pavement since I'm used to a very soft shoe. These seem very durable and well constructed. If you are a runner that needs some extra support these are definitely a winner.

After wearing the Brooks Beast 23 for a couple of weeks and covering around 20 miles of running, here's what I've observed: The shoe offers a surprisingly snug fit yet every step is comfortable and balanced. Although they provide good support, they feel noticeably heavy, especially during runs or long days out on my feet. In terms of design, the Beast 23, in the all-black color way, presents a somewhat bulky appearance (ie dad shoe) which might not appeal to everyone seeking a sleeker look . During a day-long trip to the zoo, these shoes proved their worth in comfort, holding up for extended wear beyond just running sessions. The standout feature remains their comfort level, adaptable for both jogs and long days out. A lighter build would be a welcome improvement. Overall, the Brooks Beast 23 is a solid choice for those who value comfort and durability, but those desiring a lighter, sleeker shoe might want to explore other options.

The Beast GTS 23 is a fantastic running shoe that flexes into other abilities as well. It's great for log walks and just day to day also. It's all black was perfect for my style. The height that it provides was one of my favorite futures. Lots of shoe between my foot and the ground that makes for light impact and maximum comfort. It's held up even in rainy and extremely hot conditions. Couldn't have picked a better shoe!

When you first get these shoes you will feel like the upper parts are made out of memory foam. They are very soft on the upper part. While the insert first feels a bit like memory foam, you will quickly lose that soft feeling and then it just feels like a standard sneaker. The fit seems right and it feels a little snug (not too much) just from the very soft upper enveloping your food like if you had a pillow on your foot. Design-wise, the shoe makes you taller than you are and seems a bit more so than usual. I feel like it is between a cool looking running shoe, and a casual sneaker. Consequently, it may not work with all outfits. While I may just be used to other Brooks running shoes, and how light they are, I felt like these were heavier than I would like. I also did not like the feel of running in them. They are solidly built shoes where you can feel the quality in them. But because of my preferences I will stick to my lighter Brooks shoes for casual wear and running.

From the moment I put the Beast GTS 23 on, I could feel the stability. I normally do not run in a stability shoe, but I found that these were great for days when I was running and pushing my children in a stroller after a day of harder training the day prior. My feet sometimes hurt after speed work or threshold work, and these provided a break to my feet with the right amount of stability and cushion. However, I will say, if you're not used to a stability shoe, these do very much control your motion. As for negatives with the shoe, I felt as if they were a little heavy and too rigid, even though they provided relief to my feet. The shoe was less comfortable when I wore them throughout the day for casual wear. This was also my complaint when I attempted to use them on days for regular training runs. I felt as if the sole of the shoe did not bend at all, which led to increased demand of my calfs. But, to end on a positive, I did love the all black as it was classic and matched with everything.

These shoes aren't lookers. Right after putting them on both my wife and my kids started making fun of my "grandpa shoes". These things are huge, both in size and weight, much larger and heavier than my other running shoes. They fit a little snug, but overall they are pretty comfortable. I thought that the weight was going to be a bigger impediment to my speed than they were. They DID slow me down, but only a little. However they felt good on my feet, and I kind of enjoyed running in them. I'm not going to use them all of the time, but I can see me using them on my shorter/recovery runs. If they were a little lighter and didn't look like grandpa orthotics I'd give them a higher rating; but they're comfortable, so I'll keep using them.

Absolutely loving these running sneakers. I am cross-training and found the supportiveness of these sneakers to help with other aspects of my exercise as well. The cushion is great and really absorbs pressure without being too soft. I love the aesthetic of this sneaker the black on black matches anything I choose to wear and I really love how simple the design is. I have been wearing this sneaker all day and have found them extremely comfortable. Overall, these are my new go-to running sneakers and im really excited to be getting a ton of use out of them.

These are amazing running shoes. They are incredibly comfortable, and they are light. They grip the road like no other running shoe Ive owned. These shoes also have a spring in them, which make them even more comfortable while running. The only downside is that the design isnt something that Id wear all day. It definitely works for running, but its not something I want to wear around the office or out on the town. That said, these really are amazing shoes if youre a runner. If youre looking for comfort, give these shoes a try.

They paid very close attention when designing the Beast GTS 23 shoe. These shoes fit like a glove as they wrap around the ankle with great support. I cant express enough how comfortable these shoes truly are, the cushion support make walking/running easier to enjoy! I have a hard time finding shoes that support my knees when running I can finally say I found a solution. Good quality grip for running trail or paved path. Currently this shoe is in my normal rotation for wearing them for both running and casual wear. With a sleek design I can get away with wearing these with khaki pants for work or a date night. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this shoe design as Brooks are now my ultimate choice when looking for a great quality shoe that meets my everyday needs.
