I could not figure out why my local running store does not carry this Hoka- until the came. Heaviest stiffest trail shoe I have encountered. I wanted this for an Ultra and a Mountain race... I struggled to even make myself try these on and felt immediately like they were a NO. I love the Challenger and the Speedgoat, I will stick with those. Challengers for trail runs under 10 miles and the Speedgoat for runs over...

I've been wearing Stinsons for 13+ years, this is the first version that hurt my feet. What happened to the cushion?!

I'm mourning the loss of the Gaviota 4s for a stability shoe w a lot of cushion for my foot problems and narrow-ish feet. The Gaviota 4s helped me get back on the road walking 5-7 miles/day and were already on the verge of being too wide. I want to try the Stinson 7s but the colors are awful. Please offer these in darker, more subtle colors, like black and white, grey, or navy. The Stinson 7 colors aren't appropriate for some work places and the Gaviota 5s are way too wide.

The Stinson 7 does not have the softness in the foot bed as the Bondi.

Caused ankle pain. Could barely walk

These shoes hurt my feet. I loved the Bondi 7. I couldn't wear the Bondi 8. Stinson 7 is putting uncomfortable pressure on my feet.

I'm very disappointed with these shoes. They broke after only three months of normal use, which is completely unacceptable for a product like this. I contacted customer service to report the issue, but I never received any response. It's frustrating to spend money on something that doesn't last and then be ignored when asking for help. Because of the poor quality and the lack of customer support, I would not recommend buying these shoes.

I was sent used, muddy shoes and immediately returned them. I am very disappointed with Zappos as I have been a customer for many years

I'm very disappointed in this pair of Hoka's. I have 2 other pairs and I love them but this pair hurts the top of my foot on both feet. Very disappointing.

I exchanged size 6 for size 6.5, and it was still too small.

After a short hike, I was limping for a week. This shoe made the soles of my feet hurt so bad. Had to switch back to my Saucony pair for a more comfortable fit. It is not comfortable at all....your feet will feel it!!!!

I have been so let down by the pat few new versions of the Stinson. I had purchased it for years, then they changed the design and the toe box is much more narrow. The rear of the show is also different and now I wear it down very quickly getting holes so the plastic rubs against by heel. All around disappointed.

I received my HOKA Clifton 9 GTX on July 28, 2025. They are super comfortable and help a lot with fatigue reduction. I use them for long periods of time during the week, and they provide great stability and support. However, they are not durable at all around the 2-month mark, the soles started to come apart, which was really disappointing and frustrating. Now, at the 3-month mark, the soles keep peeling off. It's upsetting because I paid a lot of money for shoes that didn't last.

I have very high arches and have always bought the stinson model and been very happy wirh it. The new model causes the soles of my feet to start hurting after only 3 miles of hiking. I never had this problem with the previous models.

I had the Stinson 5 and absolutely loved them for trail running. With rocky terrain their cushioning was a relief from some of the hard downs. What changed with the shoe? Horrible now. . Got the 7s and felt like I was running in two bricks, and felt every impact as I hit the trail. What is up with the change of the cushioning. Not plush at all. So disappointed in the 7. Hoka you had it right in the 5. I am switching brands. Currently running in another brand who has and makes plush cushion shoes for trail running.

I get sores on my feet every time I wear these! Am still trying to get my money back, or exchange. I love Hoka bondi, I own every color. These are the most uncomfortable sneakers I've ever owned. I got these to hike in, but, they sit in my closet expensive lesson

The stability is not helping my arches on my feet and cause the worst pain!! I needed something a bit firm but these are not it. After 10mins on rocky grounds and sharp needles poke me flat surfaces are fine but for shoes that advertise "all terrain" these don't hold up to value.

I always wear Skyward X to run in; however, needed a trail running shoe, and used to wear and love SpeedGoat 5; Stinson is supposed to be the plushest, so I ordered and was completely disappointed. Could feel every foot strike, wasn't plush as purported, was way too structured and so uncomfortable. Thus, I returned them.

The first pair I purchased worked great. I walk a lot and my feet was hurting. I had to purchase a new pair 3 months later and they feel like I'm walking on the bare concrete

Shoes is awesome but costumer service sucks
