The Current colors are HORRIBLE. Just include a few basic darker colors along with the around the world sherbert colors! ITS SO FRUSTRATING. The shoe fits, it stabilizes, its comfortable. BUT I look like a walking easter egg. HORRIBLE color design. JUST always offer quiet choices too! I would give it five stars IF there were quiet color options also.

Idk why these (Stinson 7) are so slippery. The shoe looks great on. I like the stability. But the plushness doesn't come close to my Bondis or my Gaviota 5s. The plushness level was definitely a let down. But the most disappointing thing was I can't even wear them to work bc it's like being on roller skates sliding around the place! My other Hokas were great at work, and I no langer leave my job at night with my feet hurting so bad I can't walk to the car. Which is why I would never dream of wearing another shoe to work now. In fact, since I started wearing Hokas I'm trying to sell all my other shoes, except my Skechers. Skechers are the only other shoe that even compares to Hoka, in my experience. And I own a LOT of shoes (that have very rarely been worn in the past 3 years since I discovered Hoka). Oh, I still buy other shoes occasionally (it's my obsession after all). But they sit in my closet waiting for me to one day sell them online still looking brand new. My Hokas, however, get worn out! And that's not easily done bc they hold up very nicely. I have really bad arthritis in my ankle due to an old injury, so I HAVE to wear the BEST shoes. Hoka is it. Hoka is the best! I'm just shocked and disappointed in the slippery soles on these Stinson.

After only having them just over 3 months the top of the toes started to crack and this is the first of my other 3 previous Hoka shoes have done this. The one crack lead to a giant tear and hole in the top of the shoe that now cannot wear them. Very dissatisfied with the shoe because of this and never had the issue with the Clifton 8 and Bondi 8 that I previously wore for work and are over a year old. Otherwise great comfort, just the design is lacking or it's a defect in the material.

Had to return. Have been wearing Stinson ATRs for years - on my feet all day at work and then 3 mile walk after work. Last year's redesign seemed to bother one of my toes, so I sized up 1/2 size for this pair of Stinson ATR 9s. Nope. By the end of the day, the entire outside of my foot (that joint at the base of the baby toe) was really constrained and sore. Total bummer. Now on a quest for my new "go to." It's as difficult as finding the perfect jeans!

I have plantar fasciitis and was hoping these would be comfortable walking shoes. So sorry that they didn’t meet the requirement. I’ll try another style. Thank you Zappos for being so accommodating.

The Stinson is very comfortable but the toe box isn't high enough and if I tied the laces snugly, the shoes put too much pressure on my bone spurs. My husband does not have bone spurs but also finds that he has to loosen the laces not to put too much pressure on the top of the foot. Otherwise, they are quite comfortable.

I really like the color. Runs small, not for me so I gave them to my Daughter to wear.

Wish they would have worked out. My feet require a wide toe box and I just couldn't wear these. They're a beautiful shoe but not for me. I had to return these.

Too bulky and heavy for my personal comfort. They felt like great quality though. Onto the next model

I really wanted to love these trail shoes. I got the black/putty. They are good looking but don't have enough cushion also I the top of the shoes hurts my feet so bad. I'm going to wear them for a few minutes like to go to the store or to do gardening. It's true to width but for any reason it hurts after an hour of hiking. Thank you.

I buy shoes at least twice a year and these shoes the quality is just horrible. On the side just below your big toe on both shoes, which has not happened to any other shoes that I have purchased through this site, they have created holes through the fabric of where the hard decoration stuff is going across the fabric. I have bought expensive shoes I have bought cheaper shoes, and exactly one month past the return time period, I looked at my shoes and they had holes in the same area on the right and left foot. They're cracked. And I don't wear them every day. I also have MAFATE5 that is amazing. That quality is top notch, but this Stinson is horrible.

I bought these for a trail race. I was pleasantly surprised that they were so comfortable. I really like the camo pattern. Very stylish! I wear them now for trail walks and regular walks. I am happy i bought them.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, I could easily wear them all day, multiple days in a row. I bought them for my little desert trail walks, approx. 2 miles daily. Within two weeks there was visible wear on them. The design on the toe cap started to peel and around the ankle, the fabric started shredding. Definitely not worth the price, as like I said they began falling apart 2 weeks into wearing them. I have wide feet so maybe that has something to do with the decals and like the toe box being really wide, like a design flaw? But the shredding around the ankle made absolutely no sense to me, there was never anything rubbing against that and like I said I'm like wearing these for an hour max a day WALKING. Anyway, if you're desperate for comfortable shoes and you have like $200 to waste go for it, otherwise buy something else.

After three years of daily use my previous Stinsons were ready to be replaced. I bought the newer version along with a pair of Gaviotas assuming they would be the same quality. This was not the case. After only 2 months of occasional use, both pairs of shoes began to become warped and after three months the seems had started to unstitch. These were incredibly expensive shoes and for both of them to fall apart after around only 100 hours of use is ridiculous. Hoka was my absolute favorite brand of shoes and I'd recommend them to anyone that would listen, but now I highly doubt I'll ever purchase again.

If you have flat feet, this isn't the shoe for you. It's perfect for small walks or trails, but nothing amazing. They are very big, looks like clown shoes on your feet.

I also want to make note that as I stated in a prior review, the fabric of this shoe does begin to peel away from the toe box abnormally quickly, impairing the waterproofness that they claim for the shoe. I submitted a return and sent my shoes for them to review under their warranty. The shoes were approximately 4 months out from purchase and I had not worn them for a month prior to sending. Hoka declined covering them with their warranty, but the two receipts they sent claimed different things - the receipt from Decker claimed the year long warranty had expired on this shoe (I bought March 20th, 2025, sent the shoe in June of 2025). The second receipt from Hoka had written on it that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. This shoe started showing signs of peeling from the outsole three months in with casual walking. Moral of the story, if the design starts peeling from the toe box or the fabric starts peeling away from the outsole, it is not covered by their year long warranty that they are posting about under comments.

This was my1st pair of Hoka's. Tried the shoe finder but couldn't find anything for a standing/walking job. I chose these because it was stated that they were great for pavement, thinking must be good for walking. They have bruised the mid arch part of both feet & felt like I was standing barefoot on concrete. It was an excruciating 6 hours at work & could barely walk to my car. I know I can exchange them but what a hassle.

I have returned these because the left sole felt different from the right. I have reordered to try again. These may run wide. I ordered the width available and they were great., even though I normally wear a wide.

I love the Stinsons. I've always worn them but this iteration of them really hurt my feet. I tried many times exchanging them for different colors, sizes etc. But every time, I had a very bad pain in my upper arch. Other than that they are solid and I like the harder feel of the foam. Right now I am wearing bondi 9 and love them but wish they would please make another Stinson.

I like the styling, but they are ridiculously wide and clunky. These standard width would work if you have a wider feet but these will be dangerous on an average foot (and look like a clown shoe).

I wear Hokas for walking and hiking. This is my first pair of non-Speedgoat shoes. They are extremely stiff and hurt my instep. I ended up returning these and getting the Speedgoat 5, because the reviews for Speedgoat 6 are terrible!
