I'm on my feet all day at work. I have flat wide feet. I thought these would help reduce the pain in my feet after walking at work for a 8hour or 12hour shift, but my feet still hurt with these. I gave them time to adjust, but no improvement. They're definitely true to size, look good, and feel good if not worn for extended periods of time.

I usually wear the Arahi7 this shoe is cut very wide at the toe bed so it feels loose with no support. It feels like a slipper-sloppy and not for workouts. I purchased for the grey color, but not happy overall.

Last season the Gaviota 4 was too narrow and short. This year the Gaviota 5 is way too wide and clunky. I wish you all could be more consistent because now what? I need stability and plush. There isn't another road shoes that has both characteristics.

I have worn Arahi 6 for the last year and love them. I thought the Gaviota 5 would be a good replacement since the reviews of the Arahi 7 are a mixed bag. The show is so wide - I keep catching one foot on the sole of the other shoe. I have already tripped and gone down twice so unfortunately - this shoe is sitting in my closet collecting dust. I am back to wearing my beat up old Arahi 6.

shoes were a bit to big. Did not feel cushiony enough considering the price.

This is the second pair of Hoka Gaviota I have bought in the past 3 years. They are supposed to be identical in size, but the new version is at least a half inch, at least, wider than my first pair. They felt much too large.

The fit just seemed too loose and large for my feet. I tried different sizes and sent them back. Plus I ordered a pair of 11s twice by accident. That’s why I’m returning them.

Bondi seems to fit a little better; though I returned some of those too. Sorry for that

I ordered these in my usual size 9W. They fit great lengthwise. But they were SO wide. My foot was sliding around in there! I also did not care for the shoe itself. I felt a little like a duck, probably partly due to the width issue. The soles of these shoes remind me of duck feet. I just returned them and got the Bondi 7s. I can't wait for them to get here.

I liked the shoes but they just didn’t fit the way I’d like. How do I return them?

Bondi 8 seems to fit well; I’m sorry I returned some earlier.

I got my foot measured inside of the store and ordered online. The shoe fits very tight around the ankles and back of the foot. It leaves an imprint around my feett. It feels great walking but my feet are swollen when I take off the shoe. I would like to return and try a different style and maybe get a wider shoe. There was not any information on how to return the shoes.

These Gaviotas feel too wide in every way, with more cushion and a less stable feel.

I was happy with an older model of the Gaviota, but I found the styling on this to be somewhat like clown shoes. I liked the wide toe box due to foot issues I have, but the appearance was just not what I had in mind. However, they have a nice stable base for anyone in search of that. To me it was overkill though and I hope Hoka eventually returns to the older styling.

They 5 was definitely more wide in the toe box compared to the 4. So much wider that my foot floated around the shoe and it was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I wore them to work now I can't return them. The ball of my foot was actually sore when I took them off. Sad thay the 4 was my go to and the 5 was a huge waste of money. On a positive note they seem to be a well made shoe.

I have tried several different Hoka styles. This one seemed to fit best. I had big toe surgery last year and still have pain. I went shopping in large grocery warehouse today and they kept me comfortable. They feel best with shoes insole and not my special insole from Dr. I am going to 80th D-day memorial tomorrow so it will get another trial. Hope my feet are happy.

The new style is not nearly as comfortable for me, it felt like no support through the heel and is probably not a good show for long periods of standing like I do at work. Disappointed in the changes for the gaviota 5

Great color and support; however, these are so bizarrely wide even in my normal size that my feet were slipping out of the back despite the fit at the front of my foot being accurate, so I returned. On top of the fit being wide, the overall shoe is even wider. I couldn’t justify the cost of these without a perfect fit.

this shoe fit perfect and was very comfortable but when I looked down at my foot, it looked huge. the toe area was very wide, comfortable but looked like a paddle.

I really liked these sneakers when first started wearing them. I have a bad ankle and these provided the stability that I need. However, after a few weeks I had to stop wearing them because they wreaked havoc on my knees and hips.

I've had Gaviota 3s and 4s that helped my plantar fasciitis but the Gaviota 5s seem to have switch from their J-frame to an H-frame so I'm going to have to find another brand for my issues.
