I like your products ver much.

I bought these with the idea in mind to correct my pronation. I did have to swap out the innersole with my own, but it seems they have done the trick. I have experienced a bit of tenderness to the outside of my foot. I imagine because it's not used to having the pressure on it now that the pronation has been corrected.

Bought this model at the recommendation of my AI app based on my right foot issues & pain, lumbar stenosis, and the fact I work 12 hour shifts in healthcare. My needs were snug heel fit, side to side stability and good support. I've worn the shoe for 6 shifts only and they are stable and "cushy" and my foot and back pain have been reduced significantly. The only negative observation is how wide the "medium" toe box is for anyone not having that need. I also bought this color because it was the least ugly women's color offered, but after 6 shifts indoors, the shoe and sole are filthy and grimy like I took them trail running. They look very unprofessional to wear and will need to be washed AFTER ONLY 6 wearings. I hate the colors that HOKA offers for women in Gaviota and Bondi. All of them are light, pastel, and they look like they belong in an Easter basket! I wish they'd offer some bold and bright uppers & soles like a few of the men's shoes. I have purchased a pair of the men's Gaviota because their uppers were colored a bit better, but you can really feel the difference in the "cush" of the sole as they make men's a bit different to support the weight difference of a man. HOKA please make some flashy bright colors for your Gaviota and Bondi! Not all women want to wear shoes that look like we're 3 years old

I am abandoning my Arahi 7 for the Gaviota 5 simply for comfort. I will be using inserts due to pronation but the shoe is still very comfortable after removing the HOKA insert and replacing it. Normal width worked even with the insert. It won't get a lot of use until later in the summer so my opinion might change - not likely.

Big fan of Gavin's for its cushioned sole and heels as well as the support it provides. On my latest purchase I noticed what seems to be a premature wear of the exterior soles and heals after only a few weeks of wear. I walk as my primary mode of exercise and average 3-4 miles a day. My previous Gavin's did not wear this quickly and I'm hoping that Hoka has not reduced quality for profits.

Will stick with the Bondi in the future because of the wider toe box better accommodates my foot shape. So I am not recommending to a friend unless they have a narrower front foot!

The Gaviota 5 was recommended to me for plush cushioning and a roomy forefoot. The forefoot width was good but not great for me, and the cushioning was medium rather than plush. However, for most people it should strike a nice balance.

These sneakers are providing stability for my ankles but there could be a little more comfort provided.

I love them just wish they had a tad bit more ankle support

I love these shoes but mine are worn out. I've been watching for the past year, hoping for some new colors. Please come out with some new colors!

I love my Hoka's, however, I really wish the color options for women were as amazing as the men's options. The men (specifically the Gaviota) get options like: shadow / dusk, downpour / thunder cloud, and limestone / diva blue. The women's colors are so pale and pastel - it makes me wish I could order the men's shoes. Whenever I need a new pair, it's frustrating to be faced with pinks, lavenders, and other pastels. I have seriously thought about switching brands because of the women's color options - please give us fewer pastels and more bold colors.

Best shoes of my life! Where gym daily!! Can you ever release some more common colors please? Why so many whitish colors cause I also live on a cotton farm and try to keep my shoes fairly clean after walking the . All of us comment at the gym to how great Hoka bit ugliest tennis show. Please explain the lady rational on colors? Mens slightly better.

I ordered the all black Gaviota 5 and I've been trying to love them, but i just can't get past that something is wrong with the left shoe. There is something tight inside the shoe that runs across the top of my big toe. It is fine when I'm walking but when I'm just sitting down, it is so tight that my big toe actually starts to fall asleep. I've loosened and loosened the strings as much as i can and it hasn't helped. This is my third pair of Gaviota's and the other two fit like gloves. I don't know what to do. I've already gotten rid of the box. Karen Kyncl

Hokas are the only shoes I wear these days after a series of broken toes, broken ankle, etc. However, sometimes there is variability even within a style - I loved my first Bondis (2020?) and the previous Gaviota 5s that I purchased in 2023, but somehow my second pair of Bondis (ended up giving to Goodwill) and this second pair of Gaviotas just feel stiff and not as "cushiony" as the first... I'm going to try hard to break this pair in better and make them my main shoes (since my much-loved and very comfortable older "firsts" are too scuffed up to wear away from the farm or trails :)
