I've been a loyal Kayano user for 15+ years. The new design on the 30 fits my foot differently than my previous pairs and necessitates a half size increase. I could not have felt this until I actually ran in them a few times. Asics return policy is on unworn shoes only and they have no exchange option. I called and emailed customer service to explain my situation with the hope that they would be understanding and perhaps help out a long time customer in some way. This was unfortunately not the case. The responses I got were generic and robotic. They just regurgitated the return policy on their website and had no interest in customer satisfaction. I will no longer use or recommend Asics. Especially since competing shoe companies actually let you try out their shoes in the real world before committing to them.

Super comfortable and established lightweight !!good material

I have been buying GELKANO athletic shoes for the past 15 years. Same size-9.5 Wide. Unfortunately, the latest GELKANO 30, was entirely different! They crowded the toes on the outside, especially on the right foot. Please go back to the same size as the GELKANO 28. They were perfect!

I was advised by my Chiropracter to buy HOKAs for stability and comfort on my feet. I went into the store asking for the HOKA Bondi 8 or Gaviotta 5. The salesman asked me what were my goals with a shoe and I told him and he wanted me to be open to the best shoe for me not what "I thought was the best shoe for me based on some one else's recommendation." He had me try on four models, New Balance, Hoka Bondi 8 and Hoka Gaviotta 5, and the Asics Kayano 30. Bottomline the Asics Kayano 30 was the hands down winner. The shoe fits like a glove and the stability and cushioning is amazing. I bought two pairs I was so convinced, one for work one for walking/hiking. I have always liked Asics when I was a competitive runner and this shoe has really upped their game. You can literally feel the cushioning in both the balls of your feet and heel working all the time. This shoe is a winner, definitely recommend to give it a try if you're looking for stability and supreme comfort!

I bought this pair of shoe for walking on treadmill, outside, and everyday use. Unfortunately, within 1-2 weeks of wearing, my hip, back and joints were in so much pain I had to take them off. I would put my Adidas shoes on and instantly and within an hour of walking would not have any pain. I called and asked if there was any return or something they could do, and they said there was nothing. Would not recommend wearing or using their customer service.

These shoes were recommended by a podiatrist to me after suffering from plantar fasciitis and the shoes have worked well in supporting my foot. I have been able to get back to 5mi/day with these shoes. My only comment on the shoe is that it would be nice to have a little flap at the heel to pull up the back of the shoe after putting the shoe on. The higher than average support of the heel is great but it takes a few seconds to get the back of the shoe up even after the tongue fully loosened. They could even put the Asics logo on the little flap and hold it down with velcro. Other than that it is a great shoe.

I purchased my Kayano 30s several months ago after wearing prior Kayanos for years. I find these shoes heavy and the heaviness tends to wear on your calves at the end of run.

After a long search for sneakers that fit my very wide feet well, I am happy to say the search ended with these shoes. The support is excellent and the width is just right. Please ASICS do not stop making these in extra wide! 10/10 shoes

I have nerve issues with my feet that cause a lot of pain; the Gel Kayano 27s and 28s were wonderful - they didn't cause my feet to flare up and I could walk for several miles in them. The design of the Kayano 30s is an absolute nightmare -they rubbed the skin right off my ankles, something that has never happened before, and they made my feet hurt like crazy. Maybe someone will see this and bring back the design of the older Kayanos.

These shoes are not worth the money and ASICS does not stand behind their product. I have never had an issue with numbness in the ball of my foot until wearing the Kayano 30. When I contacted customer service regarding the issue I was told that they to dont replace or refund shoes for fit and feel issues. To make things worse, the shoelace on the right shoes was six inches longer than the one on the left. ASICS refused to replace the laces stating the laces come with the shoe and they do not have replacement laces for individual shoes. You are taking a $160 gamble when you buy these shoes from ASICS online. You need to be certain the fit and feel is spot on for you, because they will only refund you money for visible defects in the shoe itself. This is the worst fit and feel I have ever experienced in a running shoe and by far the worst experience I have ever had when buying shoes online. I recommend you spend your money with a company that stands behind its product.

Good fit. Finally no calluses on my side of big toe. Measure the width of your foot . From big toe to little toe to determine proper width needed for shoe. Great information that I actually needed an extra wide running shoe.

I need extra wide fit and Asics has worked in the past. The 29 version of the Kayano seems a little more snug but I am running a few more times wearing them before making a decision. I love that Fleet Feet has a 60 day tryout period.

Took longer than expected/than it should have to receive the shoes- the shoes hurt my feet when I finally got and then to return, I had to pay a restocking fee. I will never buy Asics online again.

I work in healthcare and the 29s' were a Godsend for my plantar fascitis, the 30s' not so much. The "new and improved" seems to supinate more and my feet/ankles feel more tired at the end of a shift.

I bought these 3 months ago. The heel is so bulky I trip every time I em wear them. Most recently Ive noticed they have no grip when walking in the rain. I paid a lot of money of these. Going back to the 29. So much better.

I have severe pronation. These shoes have helped significantly. I was not able to walk comfortably in other shoes. I am now walking all the time thanks to the ASICS. I have three pairs.

They are great. They are particularly good because they give me great support while at the same time they allow a lot of room for my toes. They feel very flexible.

Bought the extra wide for my son. 6-3 tall 210 lbs 12 extra wide foot. Always a challenge to find comfortable shoes. He loves them. Provides great support and width is comfortable.

Ive had the past 4 Kayano models and this is by far my favorite model. Usually there isnt much of a difference, but they made big changes on the 30s and I love them!

Worst shoe I ever bought wore them 2 weeks and the hurt my feet so bad. Cant take them back because I dont have the box

I'd give 0 star for these shoes. It's the second time I buy Asics that did not last too long. Both shoes had big holes in the heels after just 3 months of use. I contacted customer and warranty service. After sending photos, they basically told me that it was my fault. The defects were due to use, not to its poor quality. They were so "nice and kind" that they even sent me a link with tips "how to wear my shoes". After years and years having shoes from many brands (never had shoes with holes in the heels), now Asics wants to teach me how to wear my shoes. So, I contacted then again, and then I got another email that ends with the following words: This claim determination has been confirmed and will not be reviewed further. I'd say, the claim was reviewed and this person will not buy Asics again. Also, this person (who used to buy at least 2 pairs of Asics every year) won't let anyone in his family buy anything from Asics again.

Love these! I feel aligned from my feet to my ankles, to my knees and hips. Great cushion and sturdy. I use these to run and walk my dog!

Very comfortable and worth every penny I spent. Will definitely buy again
