Extra wide is not extra wide. To narrow and very tight across the top. Tried two different ones and both the same. And to top it off, I was charged a restocking fee

I try it to run but I got tired and sore legs I try it for 3 runs

I have been wearing Gel-Kayano's since the 10's ... primarily because they fit my feet so well. Generation to generation the fit was consistently perfect. The new toe box construction of the 30's slightly shortens the shoe. Enough that these may be my last ASIC's.

I have been buying GELKANO athletic shoes for the past 15 years. Same size-9.5 Wide. Unfortunately, the latest GELKANO 30, was entirely different! They crowded the toes on the outside, especially on the right foot. Please go back to the same size as the GELKANO 28. They were perfect!

I have nerve issues with my feet that cause a lot of pain; the Gel Kayano 27s and 28s were wonderful - they didn't cause my feet to flare up and I could walk for several miles in them. The design of the Kayano 30s is an absolute nightmare -they rubbed the skin right off my ankles, something that has never happened before, and they made my feet hurt like crazy. Maybe someone will see this and bring back the design of the older Kayanos.

There is no tread left on the shoe after 50 miles.

Took longer than expected/than it should have to receive the shoes- the shoes hurt my feet when I finally got and then to return, I had to pay a restocking fee. I will never buy Asics online again.

I bought these 3 months ago. The heel is so bulky I trip every time I em wear them. Most recently I've noticed they have no grip when walking in the rain. I paid a lot of money of these. Going back to the 29. So much better.

I like the color and very comfortable but shoe but shoe size runs small

Bought the GEL-KAYANO 30 WIDE size 14, but they are definitely not 14's. Very short...probably 13.5 or 13. Just be careful when ordering you may consider ordering a 1/2 size up.

It's hot, my feet started to swite after 2 hours. There is no flow of air like other sneakers. However, its by far the most comfortable sneakers.

Not for me. Heel pain was off the charts. I didn't like the rocking feeling. I on my feet 8 hours a day. Not the support that I needed. Returned.

The shoes arrived in a very damaged box and it was beaten up quite badly. I was not satisfied with the quality of delivery. And would definitely like a partial refund or something.

I was totally disappointed. I had several kayanos in the past but somehow this kayano 30 has a flaw. I was running and when I reached about 20 minutes of running my right shoe started to feel uneven underneath my toes and it felt like the insole had a big gap in between my right toes and my right heel. I want to keep on running but it felt like my right shoe was out of balance and I started to feel pain on my right foot also so I stopped and I started walking. The funny part was the moment I started walking for few minutes the hole or gap I felt in between my toes and right heel was gone. The right shoe insole felt the same or back to normal before I started running. So, for now I went back to my old Kayano 27 with no issues whatsoever.

I've been wearing Kayano's daily for 20 years and have never had any issues. The 30th redesigned version had a terrible break in period rending me heal problems plus is the only Kayano that has ever given me blisters (let alone massive in size) behind my toes on the ball of my foot. A simple walk messes with my heels so much that I have difficultly walking several days after. If this "redesign" is the direction Asics is taking Kayano, Then for the first time in 20 years, I will no longer purchase Asics. The wider sole also makes driving more difficult. 20 years of no issues to complete destruction of my feet on this 30th version. Very disappointed.

Nothing like prior models. Do not love the enormous new sole.

I have been using Gel Kayano for 15 years and loved them, when buying a new pair I didn't have to try them on, I knew they would fit like tailor made. But the latest I bought (Gel-Kayano 29) was not as wide as before, very tight and uncomfortable. It did not feel like the same shoe. It was also more painful to run on hard surface. Whatever changes that were made, it was not for the better.

I'm a marathon runner and have been buying Gel-Kayano running shoes for over 10 years. I buy a new pair every year, and have never had a problem until now. This latest version (Gel-Kayano 30) is a step backwards. Size 9 has always fit me, but my latest purchase of Kayano 30 fits way too small. The gel design has changed, and I feel like I'm running on a trampoline. I don't recommend these shoes.
