When I first tried these on, they felt great. I need a stability shoe due to plantar fasciitis & neuroma issues. This shoe is billed as a stability shoe, but now that I've worn it several times, I feel the opposite of stability. Maybe it's because of the cushioning, but I feel like my feet are constantly moving around inside the shoe as I walk. The result is more foot pain and not less. Now I have a basically brand new pair of shoes that I don't want to wear. Unfortunately Asics does not have a "comfort guarantee" like Brooks & Hoka do. I gave 2 stars because the quality of the construction and materials. (plus they look nice) I'm disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend this shoe as an alternate to the Brooks Beast or the Hoke Gaviota.

Have only worn these shoes for about 2 weeks and soles are already wearing quite a bit. Poor quality for the price.

Unfortunately its to narrow for my foot. So i would not call it a true extra wide. Pity, because it is a comfortable shoe.

I ordered a pair of these last month and have worn them every day. They are great looking and are very comfortable but the durability is sub par. The toe reinforcement makes the shoe look weird and deformed, also a portion of the rubber on the sole is peeling away.

I ordered wide sneakers and they I couldn't get my feet into them. Wide shoes are usually fine for me in other brands.

This shoe is more similar to the 'Lite' version. They eliminated the Gel and the shoes are light weight. They also are a bit higher and you will notice the height change. I have run on these for a few weeks and I find myself wondering if I should go load up on the 29s. I really feel it in my knees and legs. The legs I get it as the shoes are higher and therefore a slightly different foot strike, so my body needs to adjust. However, the knees are the part that should not happen and I am guessing the Gel is what would help with the knee pain.

Nice shoe, but didn't work well for me. Fits true to size. It has a very comfortable step in feel, truly this shoe is made for comfort. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get along with it. I think the high heel to toe drop doesn't work for my knees. Had to return.

The shoes photo color on the web appeared to be a navy blue but the actual was light or medium blue. I was very disappointed in the color and the large ugly white sole.

This shoe does not support an orthotic properly. Also, the heel portion seems tight, which I have never encountered before. I bought the same shoe for my husband (different size) and he made the same comment.

Poorly made....it's as if they took previous versions of the shoe and found ways to take manufacturing costs out. But quality has been impacted as well.

I have worn Kayanos for 10 years and they have been my go-to training shoe. The Kayano 30 is incredibly bulky and a completely different shoe from its predecessors. I will be buying a new pair of shoes from now on.

Shoes arrived with NO inserts-empty and of course uncomfortable. Very disappointing that Zappos did not check the shoes that someone returned to see if they were complete before sending them back out.

NOT A FAN OF THIS GEL KAYANO MODEL. I've worn GK's exclusively since the 14 came out and still believe this is the best running shoe out there. However, this version changed drastically from recent models. The biggest difference is the lack of toe room, especially compared to the GK 29. I usually wear a new pair for a few weeks before using them for my runs. I walked only 35 miles and the toe is already starting to tear. The rest of the shoe feels fine, but if you're a larger shoe size, you'll need to go up a size if you want the same comfort as other GK versions. Side note - I've been trying to find my size 15's in the GK 29 but there are none to find anywhere. Must've been popular!

this model went back to clipping your bigtoe; unlike the 29. Now Asics doesn't have 1 model this year for a "sprinters toe?'
