My husband wears this everyday. It is light weight and warm.

Jacket is exactly as advertised. Communication from L.L.Bean was constant, and the delivery was actually 2 days earlier than projected.

I wore this on my winter hike up on the summit of Mount Pierce 1/28/22. I had a LLBean heavyweight base laver with a fleece hoodie,and this jacket. I was warm and dry throughout,well done! And thank you!

Wear it under a Carhartt cotton medium-weight work jacket outdoors several hours a day for work. Really works well. Perfect weight and well made details like zippers and hood.

Good fit for me- size tall L, 6'1" 198lbs. Warm but not bulky. It's a good middle layer on below freezing cold days and also a good outer layer on above freezing days. I won't buy any jacket that doesn't have a drawstring waist to prevent drafts, this jacket has one.

I love my new jacket, great fit, perfect for Atlanta weather plenty afternoons warm for our 35 degree morning and comfortable on our 55 degree afternoons. The fit is great, very comfortable and light. Wish I had ordered it sooner

I don't know how this jacket is so warm yet so lightweight. I love it! I really love the chest pocket its perfect to stash my cell phone and wallet for easy access. Perfect all-around jacket!

Bought this parka for an upcoming trip to Alaska. It's lightweight and packable. I'm planning on wearing a sweater fleece underneath if necessary. (Also purchased from LL Bean).

Light enough for warm days, warm enough for cold days. Pack away feature is wonderful.

The first coat we bought we didn't like the color but it was quickly (and easily) exchanged for a color better suited for us.

My grandson loves this jacket! Keeps him warm without being bulky. He can layer a sweater or vest under it if needed. And it looks great on!

I've had this jacket almost 3 years and worn it nearly every day: alone on cool mornings or cool / windy summer evenings; part of the layering system in the chillier seasons. Windproof and feather-light. Not a rain shell but keeps me dry in fog, drizzle, sleet etc. It's been through the wash and held up just fine. The cuffs are still elastic. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

actually I bought this for a woman because the woman's are cut smaller in the stomach area so a woman's jacket wouldn't fit.

I have the women's version of this jacket and love it. I bought this one for my 12 year old son to get him through the fall until it's time for his heavier coat and he's really liking it. On warm days, it's so easy to pack it away in its own pocket and put it in his backpack. It's light but plenty warm and the hood is great for the wind.
