I really wanted the olive colored tote but it was sold out so went with this. Love the zippers and inner pocket so that I could use as a purse carry-on for plane travel. The denim color seemed a little dark I person than I photo but overall am happy with it. I own 2 other open totes from LLbean that I use at the dock and around town too.

At my request for Christmas gift ideas, my daughter told me that our 3-year-old grandson could use a bag to pack for overnight visits. The first thing that came to mind was L.L. Bean! I chose a larger sized, waxed canvas tote in the blue/grey color combination, and had it embroidered with his name. Not the cutesy-type coloring or small size you might think of for a toddler, but thinking ahead for him to use as he grows These bags are so sturdy and well made, I'm sure he'll be able to use it for many years to come, into adulthood! It's PERFECT!

This bag is perfect for my air travel. holds computer, drink, and a small lunch. Room for book or magazine or souvenirs bought at airport. Goes under seat, zipper prevents anything from falling out. Love the color. And the tag lets people know where I got it from. I have several sizes of LL Bean totes, but this one is the best!

What a tote! The size is perfect and has a zipper closing. You can stuff plenty of items in it. Its tough and durable as well as fashionable. Great bag!

This bag is a terrific tote. It's roomy, stands up so you can pack it easily, and is very stylish. I ordered it to use to transport items back and forth to our lake house, but it's nice enough to use for a weekend travel bag. I especially like the distressed finish of the canvas.

I bought a large for myself and a medium for my daughter. I love the look of the bag. The large bag is olive/khaki and I love the colors. Great for a weekend away or a day at work. I really like that the bag looks a little worn already. Takes the pressure off. I don't want to worry about scratches or marks on a tote bag. The medium is gray/navy. The color is much darker that it appears online but I like it. It is a christmas gift that hasn't been given yet so fingers crossed she likes it.

This bag is roomy, solid, and secure in all weather. After putting my laptop in it, I zipped it shut and no rain got in. I can fit lots of papers, water bottle, lunch bag (if needed)...it just keeps expanding!

I really love this tote. This is my everyday purse. It is the exact size I love for a purse. It is so durable and no worries about weather either. The grey is a bit darker than the picture but that's not important to me. Great news for all you camouflage haters, llbean listened and mine has beautiful Plaid lining!!!! I would definitely recommend this tote.

We were going to Europe (I know, so lucky!) and my husband didn't want to deal with standard carry-on suitcases so I took up the challenge to find a bag I'd like to carry on the plane. I didn't want it to be too big, I wanted something that would stand upright on its own, and I didn't want a light-colored canvas bag for obvious reasons. This has a sturdy zipper at the top, and a zippered interior pocket. I was concerned about other reviews saying it wouldn't fit over their shoulder but decided to give it a try-and it works for me. It might not with a heavy jacket, but I usually layer so don't think it will be a problem even in the winter. We're back from our trip and I can report that I was very happy with my olive/navy tote.

I play duplicate bridge at a club at least once a week. I needed a bag that could hold all my essentials (wallet, glasses, shawl, bridge notes, travel mug, etc.) for a day of play. It had to be able to stand upright on either a small table or the floor. I also needed the bag to be durable but not made of a heavy material like leather. This bag checks off all my boxes. I love my new tote. The color I chose, burgundy/navy, is stunning. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This tote bag is excellent quality and very sturdy. It holds a lot and will be nice for day trips. The description shows 12" wide, but that refers to the bottom, while the top is 17" wide. Because I am short I would have preferred it to be 12" - 14" at the top. However I will make use of it and would recommend it because of its quality and rich brown color.

From the airport to the beach, I am loving this roomy bag. I particularly like the liner. It's the just right over-size for travel.

I ordered the large waxed-canvas tote bag in navy/olive and could not be happier. Perfect as an "everyday" work bag or for the weekend. Love the camouflage lining. Considering ordering another in gray/navy.

I needed a large tote for my dance equipment. For years many years I have used an LLBean medium-sized canvas tote and it has lasted well. However, my equipment proliferated and I needed more room. This XL tote does the trick.

Excellent rugged bag for travel, everyday work and even dog training. Please bring back the olive green color from a few years back! Love the long handles and versatile uses for it. Easy to fill to the brim or even carry with just a few things inside thanks to the full zip. Would love to see more colors.

Correct size and quality, exactly what I wanted.

I love my waxed canvas bags! I bought several that matched or blended. Very sturdy, like all their products. The only thing I would change is the camo lining in the totes ;) I think the plaid they used in the duffle bag would have been a better choice. Other than that love them!! I also received very nice and courteous service for my exchanges!!

The waxed canvas tote bag exceeded my expectations. High quality inside and out with a "real" zipper. I use it every weekend when we head to the beach or our swamp property in Central Florida. It is light weight, which is nice and distinguishes it from other tote bags I've had in the past. Because it's waxed, it doesn't easily get dirty - a nice attribute as well. Enjoy...

I had bought the large last year, which is great, but too big for every day. This year I bought the medium. And it is PERFECT!
