This bag is amazing!! Its large enough to carry all by two dogs (Mycroft & Ilse) food, coats, toys, and treats for a weekends get away. I love that its water proof!! I would highly recommend.

Waxed canvas is just a wonderful fabric. I haven't used it much yet, but all signs point to this bag being at least as durable as my other boat & totes. And I love the look of it. I got the zip top in navy with the olive handles. The large is plenty roomy. A fabulous tote bag. Recommend.

We have two of these bags. We use then to carry our pistols and holsters to and from the range.

This tote can be used as an overnight bag or a hand bag for every day use. It has ample room when I use it for my sketchbook and pencils if I'm out on a coloring adventure. It's also great for my yarn if I'm working on a knitting project. This bag is very versatile and attractive in styleI chose the medium size and I love it!

Haven't had it very long, but so far, so good! It's big enough for all my stuff, but not so big as to look like you're carrying a reusable bag. Nice material, looking forward to having this bag for a while

I purchased this as a gift to complete a set with the insulated tote for Summer use at the lake. The quality of LL Bean never fails.

I got this a couple years back....good looking bag and has held up quite well....no problem...well worth it !

I bought the bag in neutral and green. The bag is lovely, nice and roomy.. My only problem is the straps need to be a little longer so you can have enough room to hang on your shoulder. My daughter in law also bought me the large matching bag.

I am not someone who carries a purse. In the summer I use canvas bags for purchases and whatnot and as winter approached, they just felt too..summery and light. I was casting around for an appropriate bag and found this gem at LLBean. It's not a looker, but it is attractive enough and it works perfectly. Two pockets, a zip top, a plaid interior and water resistant!! I can set this down in the snow (I live in Buffalo) and not worry about a soaked bottom. You can wear it over your shoulder or carry it by your side. A winner!

Fine bag w/green, blue and yellow plaid lining. I purchased my bag in the Freeport store in Oct. 2019. It did have the waxy marks when new, but it never looked bad. Perhaps the newer bags don't have that pretty plaid lining.

I purchased two of these for my daughter in laws and had their names put on them for Christmas. They were just as described, great sized tote, love a zip tote and they are waterproof. I love the way they turned out. Might just get myself one too. Guess I won't find out til Christmas if the girls like them as much as I do.

I needed a bag that was big and roomy, durable, and I also wanted it to look good. This bag met all of my standards and more. I really love it, and I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for those same things. The waxed canvas is an extra bonus. I have nothing bad to say about this bag and I would order another anytime! I use it every day.

This is my go to for a baby gift. Perfect to personalize and it is something that Dad can use as a diaper bag. Perfect overnight bag for them through the years. Love this!

As with all of LL Bean's Canvas Totes, this one doesn't disappoint with sturdy quality and perfect size.

I bought both medium and large. I use the medium for work everyday. Size is perfect for my papers, clipboard, and miscellaneous stuff. Love the small pocket for a credit card and cash. Had to run to my car in pouring rain this week. Water ran right off my bag and kept all my things totally dry! I will buy the khaki one for fall.

I use it as an everyday bag. Holds all of my stuff and I get compliments all the time. Well made and functional.

This is the Enchanted Bag I've been looking for! It's not bulky or cumbersome to carry if I just have my wallet and phone in it, and absolutely ANYTHING I want to put in it fits (which makes it Enchanted)...groceries, an extra sweater, my jacket, a full change of clothes including shoes, my schedule book, a book to read, a bulky cosmetics bag....all fits! And for travel it's a perfect extra carry on to stuff under the seat.

Between my wife and I we have nine Bean totes. They are tough and well made. We get compliments all the time. Don't hesitate!

I ordered this on a whim several months ago and am back for a second one. Uses include, knitting projects, drawing supplies, camera stuff not all at once. I like the comfort, almost softness, of the canvas. Like it much better than the basic, stiffer unlined canvas tote. The surface does mar, but I kind of like that look and have not tried to restore it.

My second L.L. Bean tote. Have the light weight as well as this waxed canvas tote. Both keepers. Exactly the right size, construction and weight with minimalist trim/features that work. Thanks!

I gave this to my wife for a present. She's been thrilled. According to her, and I agree, it's a great tote for the following reasons: perfect size (not too big, not too small), nice fabric (not the usual canvas or nylon), absolutely love the inside zipper bag. She happily uses it everyday. It can't get much better than that.

The Waxed -Canvas Tote Bag, Large was very well made and really looks sturdy. Gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she was very pleased. Perfect for so many things. I did not realize (my mistake) that it was this big but she will find it very useful for many occasions.
