I've had an LL Bean toiletry bag for probably 20 years The nylon has gotten old so it was time to buy a new one. The new model has added a lot of unnecessary stuff that makes it a lot less usable. The side pockets are unnecessary and the elastic on the inside partitions is too restrictive to hold my electric razor, hair brush, etc.

Purchased two bags for our recent trip. When they arrived, the first had a broken mirror...and the second had the hook detached on the inner shower bag. Both flaws made key parts of the bag useless. No time to fuss with a return before the trip. Too bad. The overall design is very good. And I'm so disappointed in LL Bean.

My sister has one of the older versions and I have always been impressed with how neatly it hangs in the bathroom on every trip we take. So, I ordered one for my upcoming trip to Alaska. After reading all the reviews about size and how much it held, I settled on the medium size and had it monogrammed :(. Tried using it for an overnight trip this weekend and it does not hold hardly anything. The pockets are too short to hold a toothbrush and although there are two pockets on side, there's only room for one item. Needless to say I am very disappointed. Cannot return because I had it monogrammed.

These bags are highly rated, and I wanted to love them but ... I really don't. They have a plethora of pockets and nooks and crannies to store your stuff, but I couldn't find anything! I guess I prefer a big bag filled with smaller bags of sorted items. I also wanted a bag that would stand on its own and these are really not wide enough to do this very well. I had to return them.

I always read reviews before purchasing an item on line and did read some people did say that this item's quality did not match the earlier version of this bag. I also had one of the earlier versions of this and after many years wanted to replace it. I loved my prior bag and totally agree that the quality does not match up - the bag fits the purpose for what I need for traveling so I am not returning the bag.

The item is perfect. Quality vs pricing excellent. We waited over 3 months for delivery. Not acceptable as a gift where timing is important.

This was ordered as a Christmas present for my wife and was ordered in time for Christmas delivery but never showed up. My wife really wanted it and I was very upset when it didn't arrive and I was not informed in time to buy another gift. Received an email after Christmas saying it was delayed.

Very small and cheap looking. Disappointing gift purchase.

I was surprised to see the monogramming, It looked minimal, and skimpy. I have ordered monogrammed LL Bean bags for decades. Never a problem! This was ordered as a replacement for an organizer purchased in 2003. I know how much better it should be.

Received as a gift, with my initials embroidered over 5 yrs ago. Beautiful. Probably only used about half dozen times for travel. Was about to use again only to find out the upper clear plastic pocket had yellowed, cracked, and essentially disintegrated into brittle pieces. Even though LLBean did the embroidery, without a "Purchase Receipt", so sad, too bad.

I loved this when I got it, however the stitching started coming apart only weeks into use. Customer service would not send me a replacement

This is the such bag I've purchased. I will not buy another one. Within a short period of time in both cases the main zipper closing up the bag has broken What a waste of money.

Last month, while hanging the toiletry kit in a hotel bathroom, the hook just broke away and everything came crashing down, breaking a face cream pod and another item. We tried to reattach the hook, but it keeps breaking away and therefore the toiletry kit cannot be hung. This was after just three short trips of use. In addition, the mirror cracked after just one trip. Without the mirror the Velcro that holds the mirror causes hook strap to stick to it. We take good care of our travel gear and my last LL Bean hanging toiletry kit lasted several decades (graduation gift!) so it was such a disappointment that this one only made it 14 months.

Took weeks to arrive, won't use often. My error in trusting you.

Have these bags for several family members- one started to fall apart so took it in to the store to see if could exchange. Was told that the product lining can disintegrate if it gets wet. It's a toiletries bag- of course it'll get wet! Company used to stand behind their products which made the higher price point worth it - not any more. Save your money.

Purchased by mistake thinking it was a lunch box. Plan to return it. Not for quality or size just misunderstood item

Much smaller than I thought it would be. The monogram was also Too small!

Never received it. Hard rate well if you don't receive it.

Arrived missing the mirror. Customer service said they could not send a mirror, could not send another organizer, nor would they pay for a return. Very unhappily stuck with an incomplete product that's not my fault!

This is my second Toiletry bag since 1993. The first on lasted until I stopped using it in 2020. It is still great I just wanted a different color. So I bought a new one three years ago and the clear plastic pocket has completely ripped out rendering that part of the bag unusable. Also the mirror that came with it was cheap plastic and lasted less than a year before breaking apart. I am an airline pilot and use the bag every week and the previous version stood up to the heavy use beautifully. The quality now doesn't seem to be the same as it was years ago. Now they don't offer the selection of solid colors they used to and instead offer mostly trendy patterns that I'm not interested in. Very disappointed all around.
