I found the construction to be very good on this travel bag but it just didn't meet the needs I had for it. While I was able to get most all of my travel toiletries into this bag, I found the hook to hang the bag didn't fit on most of the areas I wanted to hang it. It wouldn't fit over the shower rod, it wouldn't hang on a closet rod or over a door frame.....I just found this to be too limiting as to where I could hang it...the hook is just too small and this bag when full does not stand well on its own on a counter so while I love Bean products, this one didn't make the grade for me..returned.

The monogramming is too small in my opinion

We searched for a bag to supplement my old bean yellow bag. I wanted one bigger cause I carry more stuff. Though advertized as 12" wide it was no bigger than my old one. The side "doors are useless to me and take up needed interior space. It is definitely a hang only bag. Falls over on counter as there is no hard bottom. I don't like the way the top handle is folded in half and sewed. Uncomfortable to grab and carry. Just "that much" too small.

This is large enough for more than you'll ever need to travel with. It is marketed as a shower bag. The shower hook is inside the bag. Having the hook inside means you can't zip or unzip the bag while it is hanging. This is really a very poor oversight especially give the size of the bag. Due to the size and how much you put in it, the bag can be awkward to zip back up while trying to hold it in one hand.

I'm on my second and unfortunately last of these bags. The layout and capacity are great, but inevitably the interior waterproof lining breaks down and flakes everywhere! With my first bag I thought it was due to wear and tear - I traveled frequently for a number of years. But the replacement bag was purchased during COVID and not even used for years at a time, and within 3 years it was also flaking. Wish they'd use a more durable option!

My family has loved these toiletry bags for decades and I upgraded my small for a medium but the top plastic compartment busted under the zipper. It would be better if the top compartment was net or reinforced somehow since it takes the brunt of the hanging weight

I was charged $39.95 for this bag, but upon receipt, the bag has a tag attached for $34.95. I was charged $5.00 more than tagged price!

I have owned two or three of these toiletry bags abnd have bought as gifts several. THey look nice and the canvas part is sturdy. Unfortunately the top plastic pocket always disintegrates. It is such a shame because the rest of the bag is in great shape. It seems environmentally irresponsible that part of it is made so well but a broken open pocket of cheap plastic ruins the product (and maybe pushes you to buy another?). From the outside the bag looks brand new but open it and it looks awful.

Had for about 4 years, it is falling apart, the plastic coatings are peeling, looks terrible. The clear pouch has ripped off. throwing away today. Will move into something that lasts a lifetime like leather or heavy duty canvas. I haven't tried getting a new one from LL bean I will try that first. See if they uphold their quality. Otherwise this should come with a disclaimer only to be used for 5 years tops.

I received a medium as a Christmas gift in 2022 and have used it off and on for the last 18 months. It has the space I need to pack for trips and has been useful in my camping and regular travel. However, the mesh attached to the hook is already tearing and I can no longer use the hook, which is the whole purpose... I would have expected L.L. Bean products to hold up against general, non-heavy/excessive, use. I am preparing for a trip abroad and have been excited to use the bag, but I am now less than thrilled.

I purchased two of these bags thinking they would be like the one I had previously ordered a few years ago. Only upon receiving I realized it doesn't stand freely & doesn't seem to have as much room for toiletry items. So somewhat disappointed as one of the two I ordered was a gift. I definitely would NOT ORDER THIS BAG AGAIN.

I was very disappointed in this toiletry bag. The bag is a great material and well made, but the dimensions are way off! The back panel of the bag is smaller than the front making it have less useable space. This also keeps the bag from sitting upright on its own. Even though I lost $7 in return shipping, I returned this bag.

Bought 2of these for my grand niece and nephew both teens that travel alot they loved them.

I purchased the family bag and I cant get the zipper to work without it getting caught in the front inside pocket net. The bag is not stable with no hard bottom or sides and it falls off the counters. It has only one handle making it very difficult to carry, falling front heavy.

The plastic lining inside the bag cracks after only a few vacations. They used to have a lifetime guarantee which they do not anymore. They would not replace my bag even though it was hardly used. I'm sorry I did not keep the photos to show others.

Don't have this pattern monogrammed. It doesn't show up.

I found this to be too bulky, and have returned it.

Arrived tightly folded - difficult to open into the shape in catalogue picture. The compartments are not clearly separated. The quality of material is not what I expect from LLBean.

Seems very small, I thought it was bigger; I wish it had a shoulder strap or a way to attach one, it doesn't.

The monograms on all 3 organizer Christmas gifts were supposed to be white. I recognized only one was white when LLB confirmed the order. LLB said that Cancelling entire order (and then reordering) was the only way to correct this. This was not timely or practical, so we unhappily accepted the mistake.

I have the large one of this. I didn't realize the medium would be this small. It doesn't stand up on counter. If I didn't get it monogrammed I would've returned it. Disappointed

I read a lot of reviews that said the medium was the perfect size for a single person for normal trips. I disagree. It is not tall enough to hold a sonicare toothbrush or a men's bodywash bottle. If you have all travel size toiletries, this would work, but if you have normal size saline solution, shaving cream and bodywash, you'll not be able to fit it. I should have bought the large but I will likely just go to an actual store so I can see something with my own eyes, plus I have no interest in paying LLBean the five bucks to process and exchange.

Nice bag but the zipper drags. It isn't smooth.

I was shocked when I received my sunflower yellow medium toiletry bag. The same color I ordered in a large size years ago was completely different. My large size is a beautiful bright yellow. The one I received today is a horrible mustard color. I would exchange but I'll be charged for shipping. The bag itself is wonderful my only complaint is the color.
