My aunt bought me this pair of socks as a gift ... and after three (3) weeks of use, these socks came into disrepair. The company ll bean with a world name and age-old tradition of quality disappointed me with this product made in the US. I hope to get a better replacement from the manufacturer LL BEAN. Thank you. I previously reviewed these socks as a 5 but after wearing them at work with my bean boot Mocs I have to update. These socks have a design that caused me to get a bruise on my arch. I stand for 12 hours and as my feet perspired the spot on bottom where sock goes from green to the gray creased and as I walked I soon had a limp. I took of my Mocs to see what the issue was and saw how sock had creased I tried to smooth it out but as continued to walk the crease came back. I can't recommend these due to that issue. I have other heavy weight socks that aren't made in this fashion and have never caused me to get a sore arch

I bought 4 pairs last winter and all but 1 pair have holes on them on both pairs. It's too bad LL Bean quality has gotten worse over the years.

Bought four pairs of these socks. Three pairs had holes after wearing fewer than 10 times!

I wear size 13 boots. These socks are advertises and labeled to be for men's sizes 13 - 15. We bought three pair. I tried on one. It barely covered my heel and it had a hole in it besides. All three pairs are going to be returned to the nearest L.L Bean store which is quite a distance from us the next time we are out that way. Never again will I trust buying from L.L. Bean.

Do not stretch wide enough in the calf. Disappointed, sent back...

I wear SmartWool socks year round but they are often hard to find . I ordered these on line for winter wear. Sorry to say, these have far fewer threads per square inch than a pair of good quality winter socks. In addition, after they stretched to fit my size 7 foot, the fabric didn't rebound. They're going back to LL Bean.

I always bought smart wool socks from you which you no longer carry. These are nor as good as smart wool.

I waited about 4 months for these socks to be delivered. Both socks had major flaws in the knitting pattern and one sock was bigger than the other. They were supposed to be form fitting to your foot, but instead they were like tube socks made to fit the foot of a duck.

I've been very disappointed with these socks. I've had mine for just over a year, and I live in a fairly mild climate where they receive limited use. One sock has a huge hole in the bottom, and I can see a hole developing on the other sock. For the price, I expect them to be more durable.

Was happy to see that these were thick and with an elastic around the foot, but after one single wash, one of the sock started to rip. Returning for defect.

These socks were MUCH too small. I ordered the largest size. I do not know if they actually were the largest socks or a smaller size was sent my mistake. The recipient threw out the packaging before I could check. They will not go to waste, they will be "regifted". That said, I am very disappointed and will not reorder them.

I received these defective socks, really disappointed. For $19.00 their were threads coming loose all around the toes. I had recently purchased a pair of kids flannel jeans, same thing material around the zipper was coming loose and a small hole found. We really need some good made USA products LL Beans!

Unfortunately, although they were listed as a size Medium, they were much too small, and had to be returned. Had a nicely padded sole, which is what I was looking for. Too bad. Usually do not have a problem with Bean's products.

I just received these socks - unfortunately, they run quite small. I selected size based on the L.L. Bean sizing chart - but it is incorrect for these socks. I need to order one size up. They feel like they might be very comfortable in the right size and would recommend them on that basis.

terribly disappointed that my favorite boot sock which I've been buying for several years has been replaced with a most inferior version. the sock is much lighter weight and the stiching at the toe is sloppy resulting in poor fit. please bring back the quality that we are used to.

I wore this socks out in about 1 month. I can not recommend this socks! Not for hard use.

The socks were not worth the money. They "pilled" the first time I wore them and then by the second time, day's end, they had holes in the toes! As soon as I find the invoice, I am returning them. I am a real LL Bean fan and was surprised to see such an inferior product.
