Well made, love that it's washable. I've had the ivory one for a few years and love it. This one is also size L/XL but is much smaller

It fits, and looks cute, but it is not very warm and I felt I needed a nose cover option. I had to use it with an outer cover hat. Well made.

Hat is not a thick and soft as I was hoping . Fur inside is a bit course and not very soft .

The hat seems nice and warm but unfortunately it was too small for my head.

This hat is ok. Sized sm/med and it's a little big for me. I'm petite. The trim is uneven, parts of the fabric show. The chin strap is hard to undo. I thought about returning it but it is warm and I only wanted it for walks with the dog.

It is a very nice hat, unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. (I need to return it) I think it was the only size left in this model. I did, however, purchase another women's bomber hat, different model and color. My wife loves it and wares it almost every day when we walk our dog.

The chin strap is difficult to fasten and unfasten. Otherwise, this hat keeps one's ears and head warm when the weather is freezing out.

The hat itself is warm but trying to latch it after it on is impossible. I have never been able to fasten it once it is on, so consequently have never worn it outside. A velcro closure or ties would be much better for those who have problems with their fingers.

The Small/Medium is really a Small, not close to a Medium. I wear a 6-7/8 hat size, and this hat in Small/Medium is quite tight. I'm exchanging for the Large/Extra Large and hope it will fit, because it's a cute and warm hat. Anticipate it will be too big. Will report later! Bottom line: Wish this hat were offered in more specific sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. Otherwise, think it needs to have some stretch built in.

The hat was warm and fit relatively well, but my complaint was not with the buckle, which many other reviewers seemed to take issue with. My complaint was the stitching that ran across your forehead. It was bumpy and not overly comfortable against your skin. They could have done a better job making it smoother or putting another layer over the stitching.

The fastener under the chin was very hard to work, definitely would not like to try to get it fastened on and off all winter long.

I ordered this hat on line and when it came in the mail, I was very disappointed. For the money, and this was with xmas discounts too,it is very thin and seemed cheaply made. I plan on returning it ASAP.

Although this is a beautiful hat, it runs very large; I went by the LLBean size chart and I had to send it back.

Nice hat and color, but the buckle/clasp is way too small and hard to unclasp. When my hat arrived it was buckled. I could not get it to unbuckle, even when I used a pliars to try to unbuckle it. The buckle is not for those who do not have nimble fingers, or have arthritis in their fingers. I finally had to cut off a small piece of the material to get the hat to open. I wore the hat, and it kept my head nicely warm but without being secured (buckled,) it would slide forward, or sometimes slide to one side. It would be good if the buckle could be larger, or ties or velcro strap would be used. If it were not for the buckle, I would have given this hat a "Good" rating,

Overall I liked this hat, kept my head and ear warm when the tempearture was 20F to 30F. When the temperature was lower, I also used a hood on top of it. One problem: It kept sliding down in front, almost covering my eyes. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be this way to fully cover one's forehead or because of my head shape. One suggestion: My chin got cold when the temperature dropped to negative Farhenheit. I would like the full coverage in the chin area, for example, by making the sides longer so they can overwrap and close.

I was expecting a hat that was fully lined with fur, but this was not. Perhaps I didn't read the description carefully. Other than that it seemed like a nice hat.

The hat is definitely warm, and doesn't let any wind inside when clasped. However, the fit is odd. It barely covers any part of my forehead, leaving that entire area exposed. When it's very cold, you really want to have as little flesh exposed as possible, preferably none. I'm disappointed.

My wife kept borrowing my olive Mad Bomber last year, so I bought this black version for her. The first one received showed a quarter inch of the liner under the front fur. Customer service said to keep it and another would be sent. The front fur of second one was sewn at a noticeable angle, but doesn't have the liner problem. Apparently, these Bombers slipped past the quality inspectors. On the plus side, the fit is fine and looks good. My wife will probably keep it, assuming that a third would likely have a problem also.

The fur on this hat was crushed and very thin in places. The chin strap and buckle are very flimsy and probably will break easily. The rest of the hat was fairly thin and didn't provide a lot of warmth. Overall this hat seems like it is more for looks than for keeping the head warm. I wouldn't recommend it for very cold weather.

It runs large, and the ear flaps are not well designed. The snap closure is not functional - hard to close, and next to impossible to unsnap.

This seems as if it would be warm, but the fake fur is dreary. (What if it were dyed a vibrant color?) I had trouble unfastening and fastening the strap.

I was replacing my white bomber hat from LLBean and wow what a difference. This hat has about 1/2 the fur and overall just was sub par in quality. Please bring your standards back up, I miss them!

Feels cheap, looks bad. Is it really LL Bean? I think I did order the wrong size but I'm underwhelmed, nonetheless.

Looks better in the pic than real life. Fits fine, and comfortable. I bought it to wear on cold walks, to keep the wind and cold out of my ears and neck.. The filling in the quilt is barely there, if at all. The fur is only where you see it from the outside. The sides of the hat do not frame my face, creating gaps for the wind to blow through and into my ears and onto my neck. You cannot adjust the closure. Changing this feature and putting more insulation inside each quilt would serve the purpose for which I bought the hat.

I really liked this hat! It fit perfectly, I liked the color and it was just what I wanted for dog walking, running errands, etc on cold days. But the snap under the chin--awful! It is a very cheap plastic, easy to fasten, but nearly impossible to unfasten! After several tries, I finally got it off. Thought I could wear it unsnapped, but all the wind will blow inside the open ear flaps and probably blow it off my head. Please think about making a better snap for this funky, cute, warm hat that I sadly had to return.
