I was surprised that this was not down or completely lined with faux fur. Not warm enough for me so I returned it. I already have a bomber hat that is down filled but not as cute as this one.

I just opened my package, put my hat on and was unable to remove it. The clasp locked and there was no moving it. I had to cut my way out. The hat is on its way back to ME! Based on the time it was on my head, I am sure it is a very warm hat.

The problem I had with the hat is trying to undo the clasp. It took a few frustrating minutes to open the clasp. Wouldn't want to be doing that with cold hands. I did return it.

This hat is warm, SM is too short & small - the clasp is just way too difficult to use- too tiny - hate this feature .

Purchased as Christmas gifts for 14 year old. Large fit well, sizes probably run small since she is petite for her age. I am disappointed in the quality. I also purchased a men's hat for younger son. They were the same price yet the men's is much better quality and warmer. The woman's uses faux fur where the men's does not. It is also not as insulated as men's hat. I just expected same quality for same high price. Not a bad hat but should be priced accordingly.

Didn't care for the style at all and it was very uncomfortable.

The hat I purchased, was cheap and not well made. I also shop at Reney's and they had a similar hat for the same price, but it was of much higher quality. I was very disappointed in my L.L. Bean purchase.

Flimsy and thin fabric. Not a flattering style. Fur is thin. I will be returning it.

Poor quality control fur was not evenly trimmed. Ok hat but execution is off for the price.

Cheap,material and quality very poor.Extremely over priced. Bean quality on most of there products are very poor for the price they charge. They used to to be good,but not anymore!

There is NOTHING ultra warm about this hat; the faux fur is scraggly and thin, the hat's insulation is almost non-existent and the earflaps are not in the right place to cover your whole ear. I used to have a bunny fur bomber hat that was fabulous, but I was always a bit guilty about the real fur thing... PLEASE, if you want to substitute faux fur, make it good quality. I am not sure what is happening at LL Bean lately , as I have not been happy with the last few things I bought. Sadly, it seems that the days of knowing that anything you buy will be well made are gone; I hope I am wrong

Unfortunately, I had to return the hat. The closing is impossibly tiny and hard to open. I thought I was going to have to cut the hat to get it off. I see that one customer did exactly that. Since I saw comments dating back a few years I thought that Bean would have improved on the closing over the years, but when I received the hat I discovered that that was not so. Too bad because otherwise it could have been a very good hat.

Had size s/m and l/x-l and neither fit retuned both . I could have loved this hat if it had fit.

I had a few of these Bombers which I purchased 15 yrs ago. Thought I would get a black one for another daughter. Quality not there. Fur looks and feels fake and fabric isn't nice. So, I sent it back

There needs to be more choice of sizing. S/M and L/EXL are not enough. The first is too small and the second is too large. The clasp is very difficult to open, taking as much as 2 frustrating minutes. Thank you for this opportunity.

Cute hat; too bad the inside stitching fell out during its first laundering. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this was very disappointing.

The buckle on the chin strap is hard to close and even more difficult to open.

Obviously, you are not choosing this for fashion but for warmth. This product is vastly inferior to the Men's Mad Bomber hat sold on this site: TA39506. Fleece material not as thick as the Men's Mad Bomber, there is more rabbit fur on the men's product, has ear flaps. I recommend buying the men's mad bomber in the appropriate size because it is the same price and better.

Very expensive for a poorly made, too small hat. Small/Medium didn't even slide on my head though the measurements given online were met. Very Disappointed!

This hat didn't fit at all. I ordered the lg/xl and it was almost too small. The back of the hat didn't even cover my neck. Certainly not worth the price.
