These mittens would be great - they are warm and cozy and cute - but as other reviews have noted, the fit is off. They are very hard to get on. I have slender hands and small wrists and I ordered a large, but still they are too difficult to get on. I was hoping to give these as a gift, but after trying them on I will return them instead.

These mittens are warm and just what I expected except that they are very hard to pull on because the elastic around the wrists has too little give. I thought maybe it was because I ordered them in Small but the gloves fit my hands, and another rater had the same problem with a Medium pair.

I recently purchased these mittens in the navy in my usual size Medium. However I ran into the problem that even though they fit when I finally got them on, they were very hard to put on because there was not much give in the elastic. I am planning to return them sadly because otherwise they have a high rating. Also although not a deal breaker the navy color is much brighter than shown in the photo.

Nice & WARM But run small. Will have to buy large.

I was disappointed with these. The elastic was very tight around my wrists which also made them difficult to get on an off. I tried both medium and large which were very uncomfortable.

These mittens are slightly under size and didn't feel like they'd be as warm as promised, so I returned them.

I just received these and I am SO disappointed in the color. It says aqua white so I expected them to be white but no, what they are is dirty looking. I thought I was going to get white mittens. If I had known I would have gotten the tan ones. I'm not interested in paying to return them but for this much money I shouldn't have dirty looking mittens. So disappointed!

Bought these mittens , size medium, 10 years ago, Loved them.so I decided to get new ones. They were too tight. Returned for large, they were also to tight. Alot of the reviews indicated a sizing problem,, Wnuuiii8u0uhy doesn't L.L.Bean fix it.. Bummer.

I have mild neuropathy in my fingertips which makes them susceptible to the cold. I find mittens are warmer than gloves, but they are never warm enough. I was hoping these would be the exception, but that is not the case. Perhaps the fleece should be on the inside.

I read the reviews about the tight fit especially in the wrist but decided to take a chance and order these in size large. The reviewers were right. I could not get the left glove on without a struggle, using my ungloved right hand. Could not get the right glove on all, using my gloved left hand, thus rendering this pair of mittens unusable. It's too bad because they are attractive and would be great in the winter. I have average sized hands and can wear snug gloves, The wrist elastic on these mittens has zero stretch. Back they go......

The gloves are beautiful, soft..the wrist is way too small. I have such difficulty putting them on, so much so, I need to tug and squeeze my hand into them. Too bad too, I do like them. I will be returning them.

I don't usually write a review but I purchased a M size mitten ( I did take the correct measurement of my hand). It's almost impossible to get them on my hand - there is no flexible way to get them beyond the wrist. I will say, this is a rarity since I generally like LL Bean products. Just a heads to look closer in the design.

I wore a second pair of thin mittens under these and my hands were within minutes frozen. I literally felt like I had nothing on they provided no warmth. They are soft and would be ok in 40-50 degrees but nothing less.

These mittens are too hard to get on. Especially the second hand. There should be elastic or some kind of give to the material at the wrist. But there is not. Design flaw. And they do not keep your hands warm for very long

I was so excited to see these navy fleece mittens go on sale. However when I got them they were hard to get on because the opening was too samll (and I ordered a large) and the quality subpar. The palm side is not fleece. The tan material is thin fake suede. They are not roomy the way mittens ought to be. Very disappointing. LL Bean do better!

I ordered mittens and received a sweater! I sent the sweater back and never received my refund! They're crooks!

I purchased this for a trip to Seoul, South Korea. They arrived the day before my trip and I was so excited. Unfortunately, the opening for my hand is so small I could get my hand into only one. The mitten was the right size for me, but the opening is ridiculous. Consequently, I could not use them and had to purchase another pair when I arrived in Seoul.

Got to shovel snow but these weren't designed for thatonly meant to be fashionable. Return was easy though.

The color was awful and wasn't able to order a replacement even though I was very early in the process. Refund took a long time to process. Not even sure it's done.

These mittens fit very small. The elastic (even in the size Large) was tight, and the mittens over all were small. Returned. Too bad, because they look beautiful.

The plastic clip that keeps the mittens together fell apart within a week of purchase. Very disappointing.

They are not very warm. I will be returning them. I would not recommend them.

Not worthy the money at all. Poor quality and lacking any style or purpose.

I was really disappointed with these mittens. I ordered the Large size (lilac color) and both the sizing and quality were bad. My wrists measure 6.5" around and the Large should have been big enough but they were so tight it was uncomfortable. Also, the left thumb area of the mitten was sewn improperly, causing my thumb to hurt. Tufts of the sherpa materials were coming off in the package. These were not 34 dollar mittens.
