I've got a few of L.L.Bean canvas bags and I'm happy with all of them. This is a great bag and a great price. It is sturdy, well made, the color is better than I thought it would be and from experience, I'm sure will last for years. I've wanted one with a zipper for some time so I'm glad I finally ordered this one. One thing I will recommend is to make sure you know exactly what size bag you want. This is a big bag. It will work perfectly for what I want it for but it is bigger than I thought it would be.

My small zip-top boat and tote arrived today and I could not be happier! I ordered mine with monogramming and also gifted these to my family this year and everyone was thrilled with them. I'm excited to finally own one myself and look forward to maybe purchasing a larger version in the future - thanks LL Bean!

I have this tote in several sizes and I love them all. They're made with very heavy canvas and good quality zippers. I keep two extra large totes in my truck for consolidating all my grocery bags, and I also use these same two on my motorcycle when I go to Tractor Supply because I can fit three 25# bags of kitty litter in each one, stack them, and strap them onto my passenger seat. The uses are endless for these rugged, handsome bags.

I love these totes, they hold up thru the years!!! I have several in various sizes and colors; a couple I've had for over 10 years! I have even washed them and they still look great. I have both the zip top and open top, I use the zip top ones for traveling and also for taking class supplies to/from classes (I take a lot of Quilting/crafting classes and I load these up) also I've recently started using the open top totes for my grocery shopping. The only reason I bought another was because I liked the color...you can never have to many colors!

My mistake in ordering the extra large boat tote. We've had a large one for years, virtually indestructible but canvas gets a little soiled. Ordered a new one as a gift for my husband to go on our new boat we just ordered, but it's really too large and will be too heavy once filled. Have sent it back to exchange for the large size, same as our original one.

This is a great tote! Very study, and makes a wonderful gift! it can carry a great deal of weight if you're looking for something practical or can make a great bag to keep in your car for trips to the farmers market or other local locations! Wood highly recommend customizing with the monogram option.

The boat & tote bags are of the highest quality. You won't find a sturdier bag. Use them at the boat in the summer & to store things in winter. I own several and have also given them as gifts. Always a hit.

I ordered the small bag with the long handles, zipper, and a monogram (initials). My bag is navy/white and the size, quality, and colors are exactly what I expected from LLBean---the best!!!!! I ordered this particular size to hold books for a class I am taking and it is absolutely perfect. The long handles allow me to carry it over my shoulder, the zip top protects everything from falling out, and the bag is so sturdy I know it will last for many years and many more books. I have other LLBean boat and tote bags for other uses and they are all wonderful, but I think this one is my favorite because it's so cute and the initials monogram looks so pretty.

Well made, heavy material. Very nice quality. A bit larger than I expected. Best of all, made here in the USA!

Tote bag was a gift. Recipient loved the gift!

I purchased the medium Zip-Top for my husbands commute to work. He stuffs it with lunch, water, etc. The zippers prevents disasters. A great investment!

This is the second one with long handles and zipper that I purchase as a Christmas gift for my sister. She wore the first one out, meaning till the handle frayed! She had everything one could imagined in there! I ordered the same one except in a different color. She does still use the other one, but it now holds all the dog balls for throwing! I want to say that I bought it about 12 years ago. I also have different sizes of these bags! Love the Bean Bags!!

Over the years we have bought several of these tote bags. None have worn out, we just like them so much that we continue to buy them as gifts. The XL zippered ones with long handles are capable of carrying everything but the proverbial kitchen sink.

I bought this Tote for my daughter to use as her daycare bag. Now that it's winter, I send a change of clothes along with all her winter gear(snow pants, jacket, boots, mittens). This is the perfect size with some room to spare! In the summer months, there will be plenty of room for her beach towel, change of clothes, bathing suit, sunscreen and some beach toys. I highly recommend!

My go to gift.One comment from a father was that when u name a baby it takes awhile for the name to sink in. But when the personalized bag comes from L.L.Bean u know the name is cast in stone. I have been using these totes for many years and find them strong, durable, washable and fairly stylish. The lifetime warranty also gives you piece of mind that if anything does go wrong, it will be fixed! A great buy...And American made! Recommended.

Bought this bag to take on a airline that restricts size of carryons free of charge. Looked up this size and this is perfect. I'm going to carry the description along if they try to charge me. I like it.

The fabric is sturdy and of great weave tight weave. I sew & the stitching is consistent with excellent construction !

I just purchased my 11th Boat and Tote bag for my 11th grandchild. This is a perfect bag for them to pack their Pj's, favorite toy and blanket and visit Nana's house. Mommy and Daddy love them too. Sturdy and personalized with their name. There are so many color choices that each have their own.
