My daughter loves her book bag, its weighted down with some really heavy books and because of the comfort padding on the back and straps it makes caring the heavy books so much more tolerable. Her last LL Bean back pack lasted 5 school years. The quailty is amazing and durable!

Our granddaughter's pride and joy as she started school. The color and embroidery were superb! Well-made and it will serve her for years!

L.L. Bean continues to make durable, quality products. I had an L.L. Bean backpack during my high school days and now 35 years later, I'm buying one for my son. My only complaint, actually more of a design suggestion, is to make the side mesh pockets deeper. My son's water bottle constantly falls out because the mesh side pocks just aren't deep enough. Other than that, it's been a win for him!

Excellent bag for teenagers! This bag is well designed to go from a long school day to sports practice. It fits a school lap top plus six notebooks plus a gym uniform and sneakers. It almost fits too much. The side pouches hold water bottles and a snack. My student carries this backpack all day long and loves it.

The best, most durable backpack! My kids have had these bags for all school years and I wouldn't buy any other bag! Durable, large enough for the kids and easy to clean- they are tried and true- the best!

I've been buying these book bags for my grandchildren for years. They last for at least two or three years, are perfect sizes and colors, and have just the right "nooks and crannies". Even when the children ask for a new one, the old ones still have held-up great.

This was a back pack for my granddaughter who started college this year. She needed something that she would be able to carry the books she needed to take to class along with her lap top. She picked this one out from the LL Bean site. It arrived and she thought it was great.

We've just received this but expect to use it for many years to come. My college freshman thought it's be too big but was perfect. Like all the compartments to keep things organized.

Perfect. We expect this one to last 8th grade through college as well. Family tradition. Only complaint you will hear from us is our poor children don't get a new backpack every year it will look and perform like new, though! Thank you to LLBean for not discontinuing or re-inventing something that is great to begin with. 1st of five purchased in 2007. Older kids complained occasionally, but treasure their old friend still today. :)

Our middle schooler loves it, because he can carry books, binders, laptop, pe clothes, and practice clothes in it. He likes not having to carry multiple bags. If your child doesn't need a huge backpack, then I would recommend getting a smaller LL Bean.

Well made and durable backpack. I bought this same style backpack for my grandkid and the backpack is still going strong four years later. I expect this one will last just as well for my other grandkid. The quality is outstanding.

My last LL Bean backpack lasted about ten years. I bought this backpack as a replacement and it's been amazing so far. Tons of space, comfortable to wear. Haven't tested it on a grocery run yet, but I'm confident it can handle the load.

My grandchild in grade 6 loved the color and the space, and thought it would last her through highschool. I love the quality and am sure she is right because all my other grandkids used them through highschool.

LL Bean is always high quality. I had the same LL Bean book bag from middle school to college, so when my son needed a book bag; I knew where to go. LL Bean designs beautiful bags that are roomy yet comfortable. My son is a freshman, and just started high school. He has plenty of space for his binders, books and misc. things. I had his initials put on the bag, and it looks classy without looking like a little kid. We are very happy with this bag and know it will take him through college.

This isnt our first and definitely not last backpack. I upgrade/upsize my daughters backpacks as they grow. Never had an issue.

I just bought this backpack today from an actual L.L. Bean store. I love it ! I have never had this one before.
