This is very comfortable to use daily and hase enough size to be used as school bag

I threw up in this backpack during class and it did not leak!! Defitnitely would recommend this and would puke in it again.

Well constructed! Bought it in black (added monogram) to match my large L.L. Bean black monogrammed rolling duffle bag, together they make an adorable luggage set!

This is the second time we are purchasing this backpack. It is a great bag.

This mint backpack, with block style lettering in black, is a total hit with my 4th grader. A perfect pocket for her classroom tablet, several zipper compartments for school supplies, and sturdy padding on the straps to limit discomfort when carrying on her back. All this plus durability to last as long as she wishes to use this bag. This one could likely last through her college years.

I don't write reviews. It's not my thing! It's helpful to read the others, but I don't post them, usually because they're either average or I'm to lazy/busy to write one. However, I feel like this is important enough to write a review for. So, hang with me, and read this because it's important if you want to get this backpack. I have had this backpack for around 7 years now. It is the best backpack I've ever had! My books for school are very heavy, and this backpack can hold it all. It's been through so much wear and yet no tears. It's really comfortable and very helpful. It carries so much stuff that my friends and I call it the Mary Poppins bag due to its durability and how much it can hold. I'll walk to school when it's raining and nothing in my backpack gets wet. I'll put it on the ground and it'll get kicked by accident or pushed around and it's fine. I cannot believe how long it's lasted and I'm sure it's going to keep lasting. It's been easy to clean and I'm ALWAYS able to fit everything in. I'm so thankful to have this because the other LLBean bags I've had in the past are a little more torn up. The only thing was the pencil pouch in the front arm has a rip in the bottom, but it was really easy to fix with some hot glue. So, to sum it up: It's durable, lasting me ~7 years and counting. It carries a lot, so I don't need to carry things in another bag or leave out some of the things I want to bring because it doesn't fit. It's comfortable and waterproof. A definite yes.

I bought this for my middle schooler who had outgrown his elementary school backpack. It is sturdy and spacious enough that it fits his 4" binder, his chromebook, charger, gym clothes, and orchestra bag containing a 2" binder, tuner, rosin, etc. I wasn't certain it would be big enough for everything, but it is. It is totally worth the money.

There is plenty of room in this backpack to put all your school supplies and books. Balanced out weight on the back and comfortable. The color lilac with the initials engraved is very nice looking.

Big and sturdy enough for a HS kid with a ton of books plus school chromebook. Nice color selection and was able to personalize with monogram spelling his 3-letter name. His last pack lasted several years. We expect the same for this one.

Bought this for my daughter who is going into middle school. Loads of useful pockets and accessories. Bean makes the best backpacks!

I bought the bag for my daughter so she could discontinue using my LLBean book bag which I have had since 1994. The bag is sturdy and large . It is padded which helps for transporting a laptop. And has lots of pockets the monogram options were very nice and we are very satisfied with the purchase.

Bought these for a middle schooler and a High Schooler and I have to say they are "Deluxe" These backpacks can hold a lot of stuff. With both my boys not able to go to a locker between classes these backpacks help them carry everything they need for the entire day. Not to mention all the extra room. Although i felt that the price was a little high the quality appears to be good still even though they lowered their warranty to a year.

Bought 2 for my kids. With covid restrictions, they're not allowed the use of lockers right now. These backpacks are large enough to hold all of their class materials (bad for their backs, good for what's currently required). If you need a large backpack, these are excellent, so so far very durable given the massive daily strain upon them.

These backpacks were built to last. Forever! It's a tradition in our home that when our boys start 7th grade at their new school, that they get these backpacks. They love being able to choose their backpack color and deciding on which monogram and color they want. My oldest is a junior this year and his backpack is still in great shape, never had any issues and still looks great! I recommend these to all the incoming moms at our school since the boys have to carry around ALL of their books in their backpack. Its durable and there is plenty of space for everything they need. It's just perfect!

We have been buying these book packs for many years. When all my children started middle school we bought one of these because all the binders and books the children have to carry. Also we love the pocket for a water bottle. The lifetime guarantee is wonderful.
