Very Durable and spacious! You can't go wrong with how durable these backpacks are. Mine lasted me from 11th grade through 4 years of college without any breakdown! I had to get my daughter one too!

My daughter had used the Deluxe Bookpack for several years but one of the zippers had stopped closing reliably. She felt the bigger backpack would be helpful as she takes her lunch every day. She loves the extra space and doesn't have to cram things in as she did with her previous backpack. She also likes the padding on the back and finds it more comfortable. Hopefully it will last her through college!

A lot bigger than expected great for a 6th grader. Lots of compartments to hold supplies. No hard plastic by laptop holder.

This is an amazing backpack. It is large enough to hold the ridiculous amount of materials high school students carry around these days. The backpack is also super sturdy and L.L.Bean stands behind their products. These are the only type of backpacks I buy.

Great durable backpack! Able to hold a bunch of items.

Really a 4.9. I love all the pockets (one padded for computer, one lined for avoiding scratches, one on the shoulder strap for easy access while wearing it, etc) that make it easier to organize my stuff. The straps are a bit more rigid side-to-side than the deluxe backpack this is replacing, so I need to get used to that, but the pack itself is comfortable to wear. I hope in however many years when I need a new one, this version has wild patterns rather than solid colors.

This backpack is sturdy, has lots of great pockets, and I love the color. I plan to use it for a gym bag and for whatever else may come along. I've used my previous backpack for years!

I bought this backpack for my 20 year old son to use on a school weekend trip for a computer science competition. He did not use it so I used the backpack and traveled for a long weekend with my husband. It is a good size and fits into the airplane overhead compartment. There is a good amount of room for clothes in the main compartment which I pack with packing cubes. The toiletries and miscellaneous items can go into the front pockets and the water bottle holders are great for storing the empty and full water bottles.

Nice color and material. Great backpack for back to school.
