Please please please add more colors to this model this red is just a little to random maybe black or blues otherwise great bag over all I've had these bags since 1st grade and they never disappoint

New backpack for highschool. "Mom, all my binders fit!" Fantastic size.

My son used this backpack in 8th grade last year and loved it. We were going to purchase a new one for him to start high school this school year, and they are sold out of the colors he likes. Please bring this 41L size back!

Bring this version back! The new version is too small and the laptop version isn't the same.

I needed a new backpack to carry on the plane; not too big, not too small. This bag was absolutely perfect! It has tons of pockets, zippers and a nice padded section for my IPad! It also had tons of room for a light jacket, shoes and much more! I love the color (Currant) and the price-you simply can't go wrong with this gem! I would highly recommend this one to anybody. These Bootpacks were carefully selected and they do not disappoint. They are sturdy and well made, expecting them to last for several years of regular use. I've found I can rely upon LLB for quality.

I'm 26 years old. I got this exact backpack as a kid, about 10 years old. It lasted me through my high-school graduation; countless long day hikes; every weekend trip I've ever been on; two years of near-constant travel with a touring band; and every trip to the gym for over a decade. That's right, I'm 26 and I still rock that grade school L.L. Bean style. The backpack is finally wearing a hole through it, at the top near where I hang it from the handle. This thing gets stuffed to the brim all the time. 16 years of near daily abuse. Cannot recommend enough, buy this backpack for your kid and get a color they won't mind having in a few years, because it will absolutely still be around.

Perfect size for my 14 year old granddaughter. She can get all her notebooks in, plus her sneakers and uniform for track and field, and still have room left over.

I've been using the LLBean Deluxe Book Pack for many years, and it's design, comfort, functionality and durability continues to impress me. There is ample storage space and well-organized compartments, I highly recommend this backpack. I love the blue teal color but hope to find more two tone color options next time. Also I wish you could add a specific spot for AirTags & ear pods.

I've got my been using this backpack for a few weeks, but so far it is exactly what I needed in a bag. Tons of room for all of my work stuff and snacks. The water bottle holders on the sides are deeper than they seemed and are a key reason for why the bag is getting high marks. There are plenty of pockets for smaller items. So far, I can't find anything I don't like about this bag. :)

My son needed a big bag to fit all of his things for school and work and this bag is perfect. I had the same bag when I was in school decades ago that lasted through all of my high school years and I'm hoping that this one will hold up well also.

My kid managed to so overload this bag that the fabric came away from the zipper, leaving the pack gaping open. So we bought him another one. This is the only "book bag" on the market close to big enough for his oversized AP books, AND because it took two years of abuse before the destruction occurred. It is spacious and solidly built, with a simple, functional design (except for the puny mesh pockets on the outside, which are not tall enough to support a water bottle).

This is a durable backpack with several compartments to organize school materials.

I'm a massage therapist, and got tired of carrying multiple heavy tote bags in my hands and them banging against my legs while walking. I take a big 52 ounce cup of ice water with me daily, lunch, appointment books, supplies, I can even get a set of sheets in with all of that. Plenty of pockets and separated compartments. This backpack is roomy and very comfortable. I just love it! I couldn't find a backpack that my 52 ounce mug fit in, nor could I get sheets in other packs I tried. This backpack works wonderfully!

You can stuff this thing solid. I have never been let down by a Bean backpack. The monogram came out perfectly.

I've been buying L.L. Bean backpacks for more than 20 years for my grandchildren. They are very durable and come in great colors I would never buy a backpack from anyone else. I know that L.L. Bean stands behind their products. would definitely recommend and come in great colors for boys and girls

I am always looking for good carry-on bags. As a day pack, this has one of the largest capacities I've seen, short of frame-based trekking packs. The problem is a lot of its 41L of capacity comes from its sheer thickness, and I do not believe it will fit carry-on sized luggage testers - we are allowed up to 45L of capacity per most airline rules, but unfortunately they use a rectangular suitcase shaped sizer that disfavors duffels and thick daypacks. I have flown without trouble with my older edition of this super deluxe, but back then I had enough frequent flyer stats to duck close scrutiny of bag size and weight.

Big backpack, just right for my middle schooler. He has a zip notebook that also holds his Chromebook. Perfect fit with more room for other things.

This is a great pack. Bought it for my grand-daughter who packs a lot and is super organized and this fits the bill. Had it 3 months and still looks new. Highly recommend this backpack and is stylish too.

This back was a gift and my son was soooo excited to get it. He loved the padded section for his computer. The book bag has several pockets and roomy sections for books and notebooks.

This pack has been great for our 10th grader. room for winter gloves, hat, etc. as well as laptop and school supplies
