When I had this shirt in my hands out of the package I was immediately very fond of it, it felt good. It fit exceptionally well. I live in Los Angeles area and had purchased it to take to Mammoth Lakes (California's major ski area) in February on winter vacation. Glad you woke me up, I can't find where I put it! Great shirt though. I'll keep looking.

I love these shirts. the signature 1933 chamois are the coolest ever. soft but durable. love the large buttons. reminds me of a shirt my grandfather used to wear, and i mean that in the best way you can think. so cool. i have five of these beauties. this one has a great color. they are all wearing well, little to no signs of use. they are my "go to" shirts for the cooler months. i can't say enough about these. even with the "slim fit", the XXL makes it a comfy, not at all fitted, shirt. kudos bean! you did it right.

I actually bought this shirt for my wife because she wanted "an oversized cozy shirt that I can watch The Bachelor in". This definitely fit the bill and she wears it all the time, even while watching real TV. She wants another one, but not before I get one for myself.

I got this for nephew for Christmas. He likes it and said it fits good. He is very thin so this was good to hear.

The flannel is soft and the fit is very comfortable. The colors look great with blue, black, or brown pants.

I ordered one as a trial for my husband and they fit so well that I ordered one in every color choice. They also wash and dry without wrinkles and need for ironing. I just wish there were more colors.

Glad I ordered a slim fit. I'm 6'3 220 with a 33 inch waist. Usually, the regular fit, I swim in through the waist. Finally there is a flannel that fits someone who is athletic. Thank you!

Very well made, it's a little tight for me around the chest area but that was my fault as I should have ordered the regular fit. Otherwise, it is perfect.

I wrote a review a short while back on the fantastic black Signature Chamois shirt I had bought. I found it to be much softer than the recent chamois shirts. Well, I loved it so much I bought another one, this time in Deepest Green and it is even softer than the black one. It must have something to do with the manufacturing process because they are the same thickness, but the deepest green one is much softer to the touch. Of course this softness quality is important to warmth in that the softer the material the better if conforms to your body movements and therefore keeps you warmer than stiff clothes. I usually like tall items, but regular fits me fine in this shirt. The sleeves are just the way I like them, right down to the top of the thumb joint. I take a 35-36 in dress shirts and usually need a tall in chamois shirts, but this particular shirt fits fine. (which of course means it may be that the sleeves will be a little long for you folks that don't usually require Tall sizes.) The only flaw is that the cuffs are not adjustable, and the one button they have makes the cuff too big. That's fine since the cuff goes down to my thumb joint, but I would like a tighter cuff since that is an opening into which cold air can blow. By the way, to protect my investment, I wash these in cold water and after a short low heat spin in the dryer to get the wrinkles out, I line dry it. There has been no shrinkage when done this way.

This is the softest, most comfortable flannel I have ever owned. I will never buy a flannel shirt from any other brand after owning this. It is so comfortable that I now purchased it in 3 different colors!

I've been buying LLBean Tall Large shirts for my husband almost exclusively since discovering how well they fit him about 10 years ago. I always had to take the "traditional fit" shirts to be tailored to fit more narrowly, but the "slightly fitted" cut is perfect! It's too bad the 1933 chamois shirts are now only available in SLIM fit - they're a little too narrow in the sleeve to accommodate layered undershirts. Hopefully we're not the only ones who feel this way - a more generous sleeve would be great! Thanks!

So good to have a small in tall sizes for us lean guys; mediums in the past had just too much fabric through the mid-section. Great construction, should last years! Soft chamois with just the right thickness for warmth, perfect for wear most of the year here in Maine. Colors are true to images on line. Definitely recommend!!!

I previously called the traditional chamois the shirt of all shirts. I now re-delegate that title to the Signature Chamois. For me it's the perfect cut and fit. The only shirt I ever worn that I got compliments from male friends. I normally wear medium but needed to size up to large as the cut is slightly fitted. Large is perfect. Pretty sure I bought them all.

My order was three shirts and I like them all. They are very comfortable and warm, which is what I wanted since I live at 7000' in the mountains. The only problem was that one of the shirts was missing buttons for the pocket flaps. I used the extra buttons attached to the shirt and sewed them on. I have been ordering from LL Bean for over twenty years and have always been satisfied and will continue.

Ok, now we are talking. I have about 10 chamois shirts from LL Bean, going back as far as the 50s. The early ones are soft and warm, but lately the newer ones from the 2000s are stiffer and thinner material. I thought I would give these signature series a try and I am happy to report they have gone back to making them soft again. I am only speaking about the Signature series (which is why I put it in the title). I loved this shirt the moment I put it on. Soft and the fit is perfect. I am 6'3 and weight 180 so the slim is perfect for me. The only suggestion is to make the cuff a little more snug, not much, just a little.

Love this shirt. Fabric is soft, shirt keeps your warm. Like it so much that in the last two years I have bought five in different colors/patterns. Great bargain during 20% off sales. Highly recommended.

This is the most comfortable shirt that I own! It is super soft, thick and of excellent quality. I did not want to take it off but had to so that I could wash it. It came out super nice after the wash and I cannot wait to put it on again.
