Very substantial heavyweight flannel/chamois shirt. Soft and comfortable. I like the slim fit.

I enjoyed it so much I just purchased another in a different color. Good old fashioned quality...thick fabric & the seams matched !!!

I am 6-1, and very slim. I wanted a nice warm shirt (I bought two), and deliberated over the sizing. Thankfully ll bean provide (and appear to be the only people who do) a tall option that is long in the arm, and narrow in the chest. I opted for small, tall. It fits great, and I feel good in it (contrast to most garments I buy that are either medium and feel like a tent, or good in the chest, but too short in the arms). These shirts are extremely high quality, are super warm (which if you are skinny like me is a good thing - I was previously walking around the house in three layers, now I wear this and a t shirt), fit well and look good. For the money, I'd say they are good value for what you get. I have two, but would buy again if they ever wear out. I look forward to putting them on. I now wish LL Bean would provide Tall sizing in small chest for jackets. They seem to stop at medium :( , so if you are listening ll bean then we tall slim people wearing these nice warm shirts also need nice warm parkas to go outside to get the wood in!

This is the fifth shirt i have ordered like this one. My husband loves them. They are pricey, but well worth it. Very warm

I get one shirt for my son every Christmas and another for his birthday. I think he has every color plus a duplicate for more than one, because he just won't throw them out, even when they are practically see through. He still has the first one I got him - well over 20 years ago! They are definitely his winter go to shirt.

This shirt looks good and feels great. This is the second 1933 Chamois Cloth shirt that I've bought. They're perfect for Vermont winters.

I bought a black one of these for myself several months ago and it quickly leapfrogged my embarrassingly large collection of flannel shirts to the top position. Bought a plaid version for my son for Christmas and he loves it. Super soft, durable, and a great fit.

My husband wore one of these almost daily for a year, so I gave him a second one for Christmas. It's a great weight, fits well, true to size, and wears and washes well. We are both pleased!

My husband is 81. He has lived in LL Bean shirts since we were married. Great product. A little pricey, but every garment we get from BEAN last for years, & I mean years. Thank you for the quality of your clothing.

Depending on the cut of the shirt I can wear a medium or large. That said, nothing really fits me as well is the shirts in the signature line.

I've had chamois shirts before, but never in slim fit. This is an absolute perfect fit even if I'm going to wear in the field. The original style was a great shirt, but I could never wear it in a casual setting because it was a little too relaxed fit. I plan on getting another shirt in a different color. Thank you LL Bean

These are excellent quality flannel shirts, sizing is spot on and the patterns are fantastic. I purchased one shirt and liked it so well that I purchased two more. These are really comfortable shirts.

I have a number of the Men's Signature 1933 Chamois Cloth Shirts and just received the Black Plaid in December 2020. Wow! The colors are true to what is shown in the product photos (notice the deep blue and other colors) but what truly amazes me about this particular shirt is the fabric: It's ultra luxurious chamois and has the feel of cashmere. It's simply amazing for a cotton fabric and is my favorite of the seven Signature chamois I have. The fit is slim but the Signature shirts have longer sleeves and shorter shirt tails so they look perfect worn untucked. Add to that the huge custom buttons and styled pocket flaps and the Signature shirts are the best flannels you can get. Highly suggest you order the Black Plaid and see for yourself how awesome the 1933 Signature Chamois can be!

My husband has a stack of LL Bean Scotch Plaid flannel shirts, he loves them! He prefers the Traditional fit, size Medium/Regular for looseness and comfort. When I wanted to buy him a chamois shirt, I felt the Traditional and Slightly-Fitted shirts were too long for wearing as an untucked option for him. Larry at the Va Beach store has excellent knowledge of his product line, and showed me that I could achieve this look by going up one size in the Slim Fit, for a trimmer yet not too tight fit I was looking for. I bought the Nautical Navy plaid in Slim Fit size Large. The shirt fit my husband PERFECTLY! The plaid is beautiful with the nice shade of navy and the contrasting brighter blue. He loves the extra warmth this chamois flannel provides. I also purchased the Gray Heather to give him a non-plaid option. Very happy with this purchase!

This shirt is a nice weight, nice colors. It will be great for cooler weather.

Unheard of for me to buy a $60 shirt but I did it--just this once. It is special. Obvious primo quality fabric. Perfect fit. Old-world workmanship. I'm pllanning to buy one for my grumpy brother. Sure to put a smile on his face.

I had my eye on this shirt for months, I have quite a few plaid flannel shirts so I am hesitant to add more. I look for a pattern and color that makes the shirt pop, this shirt in the Mountain Red plaid is a bit more traditional and when I first pulled it out of the bag it had a classic look and I really liked it right away. I read quite a few reviews talking about the slim fit and yes they are correct. For me, LL Bean shirts run big, I usually order a large from other companies but with LL Bean I order a medium. I have a few items that said "slim fit" but couldn't tell they were slim. I put this shirt on and yes it's slim. The medium fit me perfectly but please note I like my shirts very tailored looking with no excess material. The sleeves fit really well. I will hang this shirt to dry because the fit is so perfect I think a dryer might shrink it a bit. I am a tick over 6ft tall and a tick under 180. I have a regular build, a tiny bit slim and my shoulders are a tick slimmer than average, not broad at all. I hope this helps!

Product as advertised. I was looking for a warm, comfortable chamois shirt that also looked good and this fit the bill. I would recommend this product.

This shirt really hit the spot when it comes to fit. I ordered the traditional fit and this slim fit shirt. This particular shirt fits really well for my height as it is hard to find something that's not too long but also has the right proportions for a short king. I also work out and have somewhat of a chest so this product enhances my build overall. The sleeves are like .5/1 inch too long but nothing out of the ordinary. This is a great product and would recommend.

This shirt is so soft! Colors are great and fit is true to size.
