Perfect fit, great quality, comfortable and warm.

Like the Signature Oxford I have amassed quite a collection of these shirts, picking up a new one each season. They are simply the most comfortable, softest, nicest flannel shirts available. They wash and wear incredibly with minimal pilling (unlike the Scotch plaid which is pilled after one wash!). The colors and patterns are nicely muted but uniquely different. I have solid and plaids and wear them all winter, often paired with a Signature Oxford underneath for easy temperature control.

Fits and looks great on my 17 year old football playing grandson.

Excellent quality & fit.

Finally, I found a flannel shirt that fits. Most flannels that claim to be fitted are not. I don't want to be swimming in a shirt when I wear it. In addition, most are too long to be left untucked. This shirt is perfect! The fit is spot on and the length is just right. In addition, the fabric is exactly what I think of when it comes to flannel...the perfect weight and hand. For reference, a medium fits me perfectly...40 inch chest, 32 waist, 32 sleeve. The shirt is so good, I bought two. And it looks great with the Mountain Pile Fleece Vest. Thanks LLBean for making a flannel shirt that fits!

Be aware that this slim fit shirt is cut way different that the traditional fit--in more ways than just the body. I wear a Medium Tall in L.L.Bean's traditional fit chamois shirts. However, the same size in this shirt was way too tight on me in the arms and shoulders, although it fit me just fine in the chest and body. I swapped it for a Large Regular, which fits me perfectly. Now that I have the correct size, I am very satisfied with the look, quality, and comfort and would buy more of these.

The quality of the material that this flannel is made from is the nicest I've owned. I have many from other companies. The fit is true to size. It's not overly slim fitting, just right.

I purchase these shirts for my son every year for Christmas. They wash well, fit well and are overall a great product. It's nice they come in slim fit because he can wear them tucked or untucked and the weight isn't too heavy nor thin. I hope they continue to make different colors because these are definately my go-to gift.

Have been buying LL Bean flannel and chamois shirts forever. This version: Signature 1933, is worth the extra $. The feel of the fabric is soft and luxurious. Got this one to replace a 12 year old chamois that had gotten threadbare at the collar. If this one lasts as long I will be quite happy. Got the black ink color and the plaid is distinctive. Got it in large tall. My shoulders are pretty broad and I wear a 35-6 sleeve. The fit is perfect. Its fitted but not what some would consider a slim fit. Highly recommend.

Love the fit,feel and quality of this shirt. Since its a slim fit I ordered an XLT, usually wear LT in LLB shirts. Fit is great, no regrets!

I bought this shirt to replace my last years ones. This year the shirt ran a bit small through the belly it was more fitted. The color is beautiful will buy a bigger size and give this one to someone who can wear it.

I would give this shirt 6 stars if I could. I liked it so much that I bought 3 other shirts in the 1933 series. Great fit. Extremely comfortable. Wonderful material. LL Bean should make more of these vintage style shirts in other patterns.

My 19-year-old son is picky about his clothes, and avoids collared shirts. Surprisingly, he loves his two flannel shirts and is eager for colder weather to arrive so that he could wear them. The tapered fit is great, so that he doesn't have excess material around his (nonexistent) hips.

I love this and my other Chamois 1933 flannel shirts from LL Bean. Wish they'd offer new patterns. They wear well, and get compliments from people.

I have ordered many of the mens flannel shirts, both fleece lined flannel and the chamois in the past. I loved the fabric of both, but found the chamois shirt to be laughably huge in a small on my frame. This signature cut is perfect, it doesn't look like a tent on me. I love the onyx plaid too, it is a gorgeous dark shade. I wish they would offer the apple cinnamon plaid that is in the traditional cut chamois shirt as well. I plan to order more colors in this shirt as they come available. The shirt is roomy and the sleeves are long, but I don't feel like I am swimming in this one.

Although this is a man's shirt, I was drawn to the black and white shadow plaid and tried it on for kicks. I'm fairly tall and slim and the small regular (slim fit) fit me perfectly and is not too tight on the hip. The arms are long for me but I wear this kind of shirt with sleeves rolled up anyway. I can't believe how soft and cozy it isperfect for layering on chilly nights. So glad Beans is still doing this quality chamois. The Archival patterns are gorgeous. I would love to see more of these historic patterns, particularly for women.

LL Bean's signature line is of excellent fit and quality. An appreciated resource for MOC folks.

Washes and dries very well. We liked it so much we bought a second one.

These shirts come in slim fit, so size up one for a normal fit. They are really great quality - thick, warm, and soft. Really love these old patterns. I want to land a trout by day and a woman by night.
