Comfortable and soft and among our favorites. The quality is better than recent purchases at Beans. Have noticed that the former top quality of many Bean products has been decreasing.

This shirt is very soft and satisfyingly heavy flannel. The retro design is very nice. I would size up one size if you want to wear it over a few other layers as a light jacket. Wear your regular size if just going to wear with a t-shirt. It's fitted enough to be stylish for a chamois but not so much to put off traditional fit fans.

Husband loved it but it was slightly small for the size.

I love these shirts! I bought two to replace two I bought a few years ago. The reason they had to be replaced is, they wore out under the arms. The rest of the shirt looks like new, but they wore out under the left arm (husband is right handed). I can't throw out the whole shirt, do you have any suggestions for mending them?

I got this for my husband and it fits him and he likes it. Yeah me. I like the heaver weight of the material. I have not washed it yet to see how it holds up shape wise so I cannot give it 5 stars but for it's general fit and look I am very pleased.

I like the look, both plaid and styling of the shirt, but the material seems thinner than my past solid color chamios shirts. Also, the cuffs are a bit loose; it would be nice to have the second button on the cuff.

Fit is great; more like a classic than slim fit. The fabric is thick and soft. The post washer and dryer shrinkage is minimal (less than 1/2"). I wish the fabric would be tighter knit, and smoother. But still a wonderful flannel shirt. 6ft 175 lb Size M fits me like a glove.

Great heavy weight fabric, fits well. I just wish these shirts had the two little buttons on the collar on each side to help the collar stay in place. Collar tends to want splay out or lay flat.

I bought two of these three years ago and they have held up well and continue to be excellent in purpose. I live the slanted pockets and the buttons. I do wish there was a sleeve placket button though. The shirts were all over the place in regards to measurement specifications. I had to go the store with a tape measure to get two shirts the same size. One was L the other XL. The shirts are made in El Salvador so I guessing the final QC isn't up to the job. If you know how to spec a shirt with a tape measure then you'll be fine. If not you'll need a store to visit.

Super comfortable and great quality. Only issue is some of the buttons and holes don't line up

6'-0" 265lb. Male 16.5 - 17" neck 34/35 sleeve. The shirt is great fabric very comfortable. The large block print camo pattern is amazing and nostalgic to my grandfather's hunting wears. The fit is great in the shoulders, neck, and chest, which are typically trouble areas for alpha sizing. The torso down is a slimmer cut for the "Regular" selection. I have several LLB Oxford Button Downs and the regular is more roomy in the torso. That being said it does make me look a bit more slender through that area without the extra fabric.

Great quality, looks good. Sizing a bit off; Med was too small, Lg is too big. I am 181 lb. 5'11.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase. I bought the Port color, and I like the pattern/colors. In addition, the Medium Tall fit perfectly for almost 6'4" 190lbs a little snug in the shoulders, which would probably be a little challenging if you are working a job (but that's not what I am wearing it for). The reason I gave it 4 stars is: it's definitely NOT a chamois shirt; it is a flannel. I have other LL Bean chamois shirts and other brands of chamois shirts, and this indubitably a flannel. Given that fact, I feel it's a bit overpriced and should be more in the 60 dollar range despite this issue, I am still generally satisfied with this shirt.

love the shirt, but calling it slim fit is a little misleading. maybe if i wash and dry it, but as opened, its fairly baggy. only reason i didn't give a 5 star!

Nice shirt however I docked a star since there is only one cuff button on each sleeve instead of two. These are slim fit shirts and slim fit men don't typically have huge hands. The sleeves are nice and long but with only one button the cuffs slide right over my hands.

Medium in this slim-fit shirt works well. Ordered it in a small last year; it was too tight. As a woman who spends a lot of time outdoors, I prefer guys shirts as they're made for comfort and rugged wear over style. Women's shirt are flimsier materials, and sleeves are often not long enough.

This shirt was just a bit too light weight for winter. The quality is excellent. It was just the wrong season.

Purchase made some wks ago but happy with the shirt it matches the grey flannel bought 2 decades ago, the buttons could be lighter grey and smaller in size duplicating the refinement of the earlier version. This slim model fits my 38 in" waist and 41 in" hips perfectly, it eliminates the excess material found in your classic size shirt. The Bean flannel shirts remain the best in the market, ensuring this customer's loyalty for life.

The 1933 shirts are your only ones that fit me well. I have five. I've been disappointed with other Bean chamois fits because "large" seems to shrink and "extra large" was so big on me I ended up giving to Good Will. (Some big guy out there has a nice expensive shirt!) I just wish there were more 1933 colors. I have two blacks and would add more, but you discontinued it. Please add more colors!
