I love the foot shape, but these shoes have terrible quality. I had them in a closet for a year and then wore them for 3-4 months. The lowers separated from the uppers on both sides and the front. This was the second pair I had of the Ultraventure Pro. The first one was even worse. The top of the shoe by your ankle came undone and the fabric split. I had to get them professionally repaired with a piece of leather. It's really a shame because the shoes fit great. But their quality control is bad.

I have purchase Ultraventure 3 wide, arrived on Jan 22'24 by FedEx. Roomy at toe area makes me very comfortable to hike. I put about 80+ miles till April and noticed bottom sole started to split as well as toe area. Also noticed it is Made in C*. I try hard to trust Made in C* but every time I buy stuff from there, the quality is not there. Do I buy it again? not sure. Maybe this particular model has issue. Support team is offering me send me replacement. What will happens if it goes bad again.

I am so disgusted. You pay full price and they send you shoes that are clearly worn. This is a deplorable practice and the guy at customer service is tryiing to tell me that they do not do this. Honestly not only would I not recommend this prodcut, but I do NOT recommend this company. They have asked me for pictures, which I will tke the time to put together, then I have to travel several miles to a drop off location (I have a job and it's not with Topo), and they have the audacity to not refund the shipoing. I turned one of the shoes upside down and even with the cardboard in the front foot area and small pebble dropped out. Note that I just received the shoes about 30 minutes ago.

They're original ultraventures were great, albeit lacking in durability. The original terraventures were my favorite, and the terra 2 was built like a tank. But they've ruined both shoes. Added arch support so it feels like there's an egg under my foot. Each update gets uglier and uglier. Seriously, why can't you make a decent color? But after years of waiting, and eventually calling, I've learned they just don't care about those who don't have tiny feet. They refuse to get shoes made in size 15. The lady I talked to just said they don't see a need to make 15's and goes, "I don't know what you want me to say." Back to Altra.

Our dog park is variable mountain terrain with a creek running through it. I would like to be able to have a pair of shoes that accommodates my feet as well as my lifestyle. I'm afraid I'll have to find a cobbler to custom make my shoes :(
