Fast walking every day. More comfortable than the road chews on the road. More cushioning.

So far hubbie is wearing his Topo Athletic Pursuits all the time. Purchased the Ultradventures at the same time. Love the green on green color. He's probably saving these for when he needs to look a bit more dressed up. Very much appreciate the darker colors for ease of keeping them clean and neat looking.

Out of the box, 25 miles in Yosemite/John Muir. thousands of feet of elevation gain and loss. Stream crossings, then hiking miles in wet shoes. Never felt a hot spot, no issues at all. Love the UV 3. Have a pair of UV 1 and UV 2, but love the extra cushion in the UV 3. Recommend them to everyone. Stick to slick granite like glue.

I have freakishly wide feet and run long distance. I've been loyal to Altra, but without a cushioned wide shoe my feet were getting battered. I ordered the Ultraventures just in time to break them in for a very rocky and technical 50k. One shoe suffered a little damage in the toe, but overall they performed really well and I'm sticking with them! The wide toe box was nice, the mid foot is a little narrow but overall solid, responsive trail shoe. Now trying the Phantom for a road marathon!

Including my new pair of UV3s, which look great in green, I now own seven pair of TOPOs. Some I use for casual wear, some for long recreational walks on pavement, and some for hiking on easy to steep and challenging trails. All of them feel wonderful to walk in.
The UV3s felt absolutely fantastic right out of the box, with that TOPO fit, great arch support, and perfect balance of cushion and firmness. Prior to receiving them, I had some concerns that the higher stack might feel odd, but no!

The Topo Ultraventure 3 feels great on the trails. And the first pair I bought has about 400 miles on them and they are in pretty good condition still just adding a second pair to use on and off. I would like to win some more "#sweepstakes"

I walk 4-5 miles daily, and do more aggressive hikes (in New England) twice a month. These are the BEST hiking sneakers I have ever had. Light, quick-drying, vibram soles, with a wide toe box for my very impressive bunions. I bought men's 9 wide and they are perfect. (I wore a size 10-10.5 W female shoe before my feet got really wide and cranky.)
It is a pleasure to be able to hike in comfort again!

Wear my Ultraventure 3s for my job as a ballpark usher walking on concrete for hours plus I was starting to get plantar fascaitis pain in one foot. Roberts Running in Charleston WV and TOPO have saved my feet!

I got them for hiking but I am now wearing them all the time. Like to see wide models in your other shoes.

I have 2 pairs of the women's version of these, both the hiker and runner and my husband wanted to try them since I've been raving about mine. We both needed the wide versions and when his showed up he slid right into them and loved the fit. They're a dream from width, instep, heel doesn't slip to the delicious bouncy sole. He wears construction boots all week and loves having these for his time off. Buy them, you won't regret it!

My first experience with Topo shoes was with the original Ultraventure. I owned numerous pairs that I used for trail running and racing. It was by far the best trail shoe I'd ever owned. Then came the UV2, which for me was a failure for me and I moved away from Topo shoes. I took a chance when the UV3 came out. Really glad I did. When I slid my foot in them and laced them up, it was like meeting an old friend after not seeing them for years. This is a great shoe. Good job Topo!

The women's Topo Ultraventure 3 is my first pair of Topo shoes and they are excellent. They are more comfortable than hiking boots for walking the Camino. As an active, outdoorsy person with bunions since age 18, I especially appreciate the wider toe box and the fact that you had a wide size available in my size. Unfortunately a wide size has not been available for my husband's size 12 foot this year. Please make a wide in size 12 so he will be able to walk the Camino with me this year!

I bought this shoe in a wide while hoping there would be no heel slip and there isn't. The midfoot lockdown is ideal. The shape of the shoe in wide is nearly identical to another well known original foot shape shoe which fits me perfectly so if you're wondering about the width I hope this helps.

I do Lots of hiking in the Lake Tahoe area. I am trying to figure out which shoes to use later this year on the John Muir Trail, and think I am gravitating towards Topo. I used my Hoka for my Mt Whitney hike last August and could have used more toe room. My Altras could use a little more cushioning. I am thinking the Topos might be a good blend of toe space and cushioning. I have to say the online purchasing experience from Topo was excellent.

The Ultraventure 3 is my first trail shoe purchase, but my fourth Topo purchase in less than a year. I run on various trail surfaces, and the Ultraventure 3 ffeels great & didn't disappoint. The roomy toe box is perfect for me.

Having had the Ultraventure 1 & 2s, both were really comfortable and my feet loved them. Only issue was the cushioning died for me after about 100 miles which I resented.
This 3rd version so far feels like that issue is fixed and I'm loving them!! Do wish the lugs were more aggressive like the first 2 versions

As described, this version of the Ultraventure is indeed, lighter, more responsive, and more cushioned with the updated, springier Zipfoam. I could feel all of these improvements during my trail run. The extra cushioning is not mushy or spongy and doesn't weigh down the shoe. It felt light on my feet and responsive. A great update!

I bought these as a compliment to my Phantom 2's for added traction during wet or snowy conditions running in the city parks and lakefront. I test ran them this week and the heel and midfoot are very stable and the sole returns energy well. After a mile in, I forgot about them and just ran. Awesome.

How lite with the thick cushion along with the wide toe space and considering the price makes these shoes foremost on the shoe market! Of coarse that is my opinion. After wearing very expensive poorly designed shoes for many decades which has caused me many foot problems; these shoes are helping me tremendously along with other treatments to much healthier feet and less pain. Plus they are nice looking shoes! They have left me with one problem, what do I do with my literally hundreds of pairs of pretty but poorly designed shoes!
