I use them around the house, to walk the dogs and on trails. The tread wore down more quickly than expected, but I love the shoe.

Listen we aren't Bama fans. Please do more colors. Redo that awful logo. But besides that. You have no clue how happy I am. I am a trucker who has to have tred. I hike & am gonna be using them for our trip to the UK. Wide toe box with narrow heel. Prefection

We walk roughly 8-9 miles per day, on mixed terrain, pavement & trail. I bought a pair for my husband, he wore them, and did 9 miles in them on the first day and wears them now whenever we go out for a walk. He loves the wide toe box, the secure mid-section & heel, as well as the vibram sole. I've already purchased his backup pair for when these wear out.

I needed wide even though your shoes have a large for box. Love the extra room for my toes.

I use these for hiking and they are great! Very comfortable. Toes wide spread. Perfect cushioning. Very breathable. Good grip on any surface. Thanks Topo for being out there! (Note: I normally use size 44EU/10USA but in Topo I always order 45EU/11USA)

200 miles in and these are holding up very well! Already purchased a second pair of Ultraventure, as well as a pair of Atmos and hiking boots. These were my first wide toe box shoe and have been game changers for me. Feet feel amazing and as I mention in my review of the Atmos, these have been a lifesaver. I have Morton's neuromas in both feet and was able to take on 50k training largely due to the comfort of Topo shoes. I donated all of my narrow shoes and even cycle in these shoes now. Hopefully Topo continues to produce this style of shoe. The quality is far superior to there top competitor.

Had to move away from the Caldera line after the 5 (the 6 is a radical departure), and got some advice to try Topo. The Ultraventure seems to be a good alternative. I'm a mid to forefoot striker, so shoes like the Caldera 6 and Hokas leave my legs feeling dead. The Ultraventure left them feeling pretty good after 8 miles, a good chunk of which was in the mud and snow. Looking forward to getting them out for a longer run to see how well they'll do for two summer 50k races I have coming up. I really hope I've found my Caldera replacement shoe.

I wore these for the Bandera 100k a few weeks ago. No blisters. No hot spots. Solid shoes that were comfortable and secure the whole time. I'll be buying another pair when I eventually wear these out.

Thank you TOPO Athletics for this wide toe box masterpiece. I loved Altras for the wide toe box but didn't really bond with the zero drop and also had durability issues. The Ultraventure 3s have ample cushion and feel like they were custom made for my (somewhat) wide feet. I ordered the standard width and can't imagine anyone needing a wide. Heel feels very secure and the 5mm drop is perfect. Vibram sole is a must have for me on my local trails. Looking forward to many miles of hiking and running in these very comfy shoes!

I'm a big dude at 6'4" 255 and so I'm putting a lot of force down when I run and these shoes are the only ones I've found that I can unleash what little speed I have on a downhill run without have knee or ankle pain!!

Everyday use at work, needed a strong footbed with cushioning that would not wear out in 6 months.

In addition to being my walking shoes, these are my everyday shoes. Looks like I am on track to buy about 2 pair per year. Toe box is roomy, Shoe is supportive until it has lots of miles on it. Great on steep hills. Seem like this new pair is a bit more supportive than the past pair. Maybe they changed the design a little. Still like them a lot.. #sweepstakes. People complement me on the shoes. Never had that happen before.

I bought these for short hikes in the Galpagos Islands. I have a really hard time finding comfortable shoes as I have arthritis in my big toes and normally wear orthotics. I wore these for 8 days and they were totally comfortable without my orthotics (which incidentally won't work well in these shoes due to the narrow mid foot) and no blisters either. (I wore Balaga or Darn Tough socks which kept my feet dry and happy.) I own 2 pair of Phantom 2 running shoes which I love but I love these guys even more.

I use Topos both in the gym and on the trail. The ultraventures are my go-to for long trail runs - I used them at both Bighorn and Leadville 100 this year and they were great!

I have searched for years attempting to find shoes that fit in width and do not allow for heal slippage. The Ultraventure 3 takes care of both these issues and is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Great forefoot room, exceptional heal lockdown (without having to be laced so tight foot loses circulation), and the 35x30 is great cushioning. Used for hiking and trail running. I currently own 2 pair of Ultraventure 3, a pair of MTN Racer 3, Trailventure 2 and Phantom 3. The new Traverse is next on my radar. I would also like to thank Topo for their color selections NOT being those awful bright colors other companies use. Love the darker greens, grey, charcoal. Topo is a great, great product.

The wide toe box is great. The cushioning is just right, no too much or too high. This is my second pair. I have experienced very little wear in my first pair with approximately 500 miles. I will buy another pair.
Very pleased buyer/runner.

I walk approximately 6-7 miles a day, 5-6 days a week. Love the wider toe space and light weight.

This is my second pair. I bought the mens 8.5 wide. There literally is only one other shoe on this planet that is wide enough for my EE fore foot. It's is so great to have second option. This shoe is better built as far as I can tell. I still need to do some serious miles with the backpack on for a true comparison, but I'm confident the Ultraventure 3 will work as well if not better than my regular go to trail runner.

I have such a wide forefoot that all I have been able to fit into is another zero drop brand, model until now.
I tried the Ultraventures over a year ago and was impressed with the build, but disappointed it wasn't wide enough for my feet. I just backpacked 900 miles of the PCT in my other footwear brand which wore out after just 300 miles I went through 3 pairs. I saw my friend's Topos lasting much longe than my shoes. I had shoe envy! Once I finished my hike I thought I'd have a look on the ToPo website as I heard good things about the Pursuits. I could see the Pursuits probably would not be wide enough for me, so I checked the Ultraventure 3 in men's out and saw that the green pair came in a wide size! Woo Hoo! I took the leap and purchased a pair. I've been using zero drop for 5 years so I was a bit worried about the 5 mm lift, but it seems fine, very minimal. The shoe fits amazingly well so I've purchased another. Hopefully ToPo will do the zero drop Pursuits in wide soon as well. For now I'm loving this shoe and the cushioning is great.
