Bathing suit faded from blue to white in 2 weeks. I go to a YMCA where the chlorine pool faded it badly. The suit looked like it was 20 years old. I didn't even wash the suit. I have never had that happen before with any other bathing suit in the same pool.

I ordered 4 pairs of the green Men's Classic Supplex shorts in a large, and eventually wore them out. I ordered two more pairs of the green shorts and one blue pair. The green ones never arrived because they were out of stock. The blue pair are larger all around and fit terribly.

Never have I ever had a pair of shorts pill so bad. Had less than 2 months with minimal wear. Likely to return.

The swim shorts were a big disappointment. They faded very quickly and have already found a replacement.

Bought 2 pair and liked the look but they faded almost immediately even soaking in cold water after each use. Returned for refund.

Ok material but the sizing is way off. The leg openings are way too baggy.

After 12 times in the pool, this has faded to an awful color. Previous purchase of this item was wonderful for a couple of years. This is very disappointing.

Bought the same shorts two years ago and now the sizing is way off. If this is what Bean considers small, none of your newer products will fit me.

These classic shorts have been my only swim and beachwear during two decades of retirement. I have purchased at last 10 pairs that survived months of hiking, snorkeling, sailing, swimming laps and daywear. My old purchases successfully survived and were replaced after long activity. However, this season, I treated myself to three pairs of new ones. After ten weeks of swimming laps, hot-tubbing and poolside relaxing, all three pairs have faded into a puke-like color. Don't buy them if you are going to get them wet every day.

I really wanted to like these but found that the elastic in the waist was very loose/weak. The only way to keep them on is to rely almost totally on the drawstring In that sense I am disappointed with this purchase. I kept them only because they offer sun protection. In my opinion these are not up to LL Bean standards.

Not what expected, had a mesh inside I did not see in description.

I purchased these shorts in medium. The waist band was a good fit, but the leg opening at the hem was designed for XXL. They were rather "pantaloony".

Sizing is not true. LL Bean - please!! return to your old sizing. I've been buying these swimsuits for over 20 years . . . All size large. This one is a full size bigger (at least 2 inches) than any of my other suits. I feel like this has happened across all of LL Beans clothing over the last few years. What a shame.

one of the few real disappointments in LLB purchases. Loose, baggy, cheap, extremely long shoe string draw "cord". Bleached out by third use in the whirlpool.

These shorts go past the knee. I have several pairs of 6" inseam shorts and not a single one of them are even close to the knee. Bad sizing guys.

I have worn these shorts for many years swimming, sailing, racquetball, etc. but never again their sizing is awful..

I bought these because of the price. Bought a medium, and it was too baggy, so then switched for a small and those were too tight. Was charged $12 for each pair to return. $36 and I kept none of them
