The swim trunks arrived quickly and fit perfectly. I loved the color and they are comfortable. I would recommend these to my friends.

Very comfortable, very lightweight. They feel like a swim suit, and could certainly be used as a swim suit, but I wear them everywhere. I did cut out the mesh liner, though (LL Bean--make them without the liner!!). I do wish they came in more colors.

I bought these to use as swim trunks. The brand I used to wear was discontinued. I was worried that these would not be as good. I should not have been worried. These are high quality, well made shorts that are excellent for the swimming pool. Very pleased with the LL Bean Supplex Sport Shorts and will be buying more!

Great shorts, fit super well and comfortable in the waist at a good price

I've been wearing these shorts for decades (yes, decades). When I ordered new ones recently, I noted the liners are black or dark grey. This should have been done years ago. In the past, I would cut out the liners which were white. Now I don't have to.

The duplex material is perfect as it dries quickly. The fit is just right. The lining in the trunks is nicer than the typical mesh.

I'm 5'10", 168 lbs and normally wear a 34" waist pants. Sometimes a 33" waist. I wear these for running, walking and hiking. I originally ordered two pair of large shorts. They were huge so I spent the money to return them and got two pair of the medium. My reason for going with the large is I ordered what I think are the same shorts (#215657) in 2019 in a large. One of the 2019 ordered large shorts fits good and the other is a little small for me. The 2019 shorts were made in China and the 2022 shorts are made in Vietnam. Regarding the current 2022 shorts. Overall they seem like a good athletic short. More like an older time athletic short. Front pockets are long and somewhat narrow. That keeps my phone vertical so that is good for me. The rear pocket has a velcro tab. Works great for keys. The liner is a little snug, but I'm guessing it will stretch out in time. They dry out pretty fast. I got a pair of 6" and 8". The 6" length is better for me so I will be ordering another pair of 6" shorts.

They run large! I usually wear a medium but the mediums were too large so I got smalls! And the smalls are very comfortable!

Comfortable poolside or in water. Dries quickly. Lightweight. A great choice for every day swim wear.

I have been buying these since 1975. The price is great and they last a long time. LL Beans customer service has always been excellent.

I use these and the previous LL Bean swim suit up to 3x a week. The large fits me well. The XL was a return. They fit well and dry fast. The loss of the embroidered logo seems to be an issue with some. It does not affect the swimming at all. I like the liner and the draining pockets.

I do love these shorts. I have several pair. This time though I bought a pair of gray and black. The gray is fine but I'm disappointed in the black color. It is much closer to a charcoal gray that a pair of true black shorts.

Attractive and fits nicely. I would, however, have preferred a slightly heavier fabric.

Great swim shorts! They have, however, faded a lot in less than a month and I wear them in a salt water pool. Otherwise, they are great. I plan to get a second pair.

These are comfy, well built, all as advertised. I first bought the 6" LL Bean dock shorts and I love the fit of those. I have shorter legs, plenty of thigh, and those in the 6" inseam are just right, they fall just above the knee and don't look like gangster shants on me, like a lot of shorts do. These Supplex shorts in 6" inseam are just a bit too long for me. Maybe it's due to the fabrication, the looser drape of supplex (especially when wet). I wish they had 5" inseam in these, they'd fit my body better and be more to my liking. I will keep these, they're a solid option, but they won't be my go to trunks.

They have a tendency to cling when they get wet but they are OK - not great - just OK.

Shorts are great fit, length and material. Really big pockets. The pocket holes are too small to easily get your hand into the front pockets.
