I have run in solomon for years- daily use. The last 3 pairs have defect- the insole slips back to heal. This needs to be resolved or I will no longer be a user. I think solomon changed material or went cheap. Sense trail shoes have been my go but 3 bad pairs of shoes- all within the year- not acceptable.

I wear a solid 8 in men's, they only had an 8 1/2 available so I figured they would be a little roomy, well they seem to run small. I wore them to work thinking they would adjust a bit. by the end of my shift, I was limping. and since I've worn them. I didn't bother trying to return the. just a total loss for me. otherwise, they look great sitting in my closet.

Sense Ride continues to be my go to trail shoe. No Break-in period needed. Feels great from day-1 and it a perfect all around shoe. The Sense Ride 5 does run a little small, so suggest a half-size up.

I have been running in the sense ride line for years, starting with the sense ride 2. But on my first pair of these the insole kept sliding around and I had to replace it with an insole from another brand. I hoped it was a one off but my second pair is doing it again. Time to find a new shoe.

I've been wearing Sense Rides for years, updated to the newer model every 1-2 years. However, I will not wear shoes with the companies name printed so big on the side. Happy to pay for a good shoe but I don't advertise for any company, not to mention it looks ugly. Will have to search for a new regular shoe since Salomon decided to do this.
