Good. But the old 250 beanie was better. This is much thinner. Probably good for certain applications but not what I expected. I'll keep it anyways.

Purchased this for skiing. I haven't tested it in the snow or on the mountain yet. I tried it on and it fits snug, feels great and love the design and sporty hi-tech look. I can't wait to try it on my first ski trip for this season, at the end of December. Love how thin and lightweight this beanie is...perfect for under my ski helmet. And because it is thin it will easily fit in a pocket of my ski jacket when not needed. #sweepstakes

Well constructed, true to size fit

Great to take the chill off, they just made this beanie too small. I'm a woman with a medium head and it barely covers my ears. Need to make it bigger.

This beanie serves its function perfectly. Wore it yesterday for a 4 mile trail run in 37 degrees and pouring rain. Kept my head warm but let it breathe. Was able to easily moderate temperature by exposing ears then removing completely and stowing. It takes up no room in a pocket. Would definitely recommend.

I expected this hat to be at least twice as thick as it is. I can feel the wind thru it. I wouldn't buy this again.

It's the quality you expect from Smartwool. It's very thin. Good to wear under a helmet, but I find it very large. Unless the woman in the picture has a huge head, there must be a clip holding it on. Something like this, you'd expect it to fit tight.

Bought another Merino beanie because I really like the one I got a few years ago. The one purchased in 2025 is thin and shapeless, sits on my head like a floppy bag.

Because this is thin, it feels loser than it is.
